Like many in the LGBT community Pete Buttigieg is hopelessly clueless about Islam and how LGBT individuals are treated under Sharia Law. In much (if not all) of the Muslim world, being gay is punishable by the death penalty.
In countries such as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Iran, Syria, Malaysia, and many other Muslim countries, LGBT individuals endure unimaginable brutality, and this idiot has the audacity to compare this barbarity to Christianity.
Like his fellow Democrat Party nominees, Buttigieg seeks America’s pro-Jihad vote.

Buttigieg made the remarks when Hewitt asked him which form of Islamic extremism he thought posed the greatest overall threat.
“Do you find Iranians’ variant of Shia extremism to be more dangerous to the world than the Sunni variant that we see in the Taliban and perhaps in Hamas and some of the more radical elements of Wahhabism?” Hewitt asked.
“Well, you know, not unlike Christianity when it is motivating someone to do something extreme,” Buttigieg responded. “It can have a thousand different flavors.”
The United States government lists Iran as the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. Iran’s influence in spreading terrorism and drug trafficking around the world was enabled by former President Barack Obama, who sabotaged a massive investigation into the Iranian-backed Islamic terrorist organization Hezbollah, according to Politico.
Christopher M. Blanchard, Analyst for the Middle Eastern Affairs of the Congressional Research Service, wrote the following about Wahhabism in a 2008 report for Congress:

And what he forgot to mention was that that ‘something extreme’ in Christianity is extremely good (like loving your enemies, feeding the homeless, helping the orphans, all in a self sacrificial way) and the ‘something extreme’ in islam is extremely bad (like murdering the innocent, general blood lust, sex with children, sex and other slaves, oppression, jihad terrorism, etc. etc. etc……)!
AND, if he is hinting at the fact that true Christians don’t compromise on the issue of sodomy (which we shouldn’t), that is not an extreme. That is the norm. That is what the Bible teaches and makes it perfectly clear in: Romans 1; 26-27, 1 Corinthians 6; 9-11, 1 Timothy 1; 10, Leviticus 18; 22, Leviticus 20; 13, and Deuteronomy 22; 5 (no transvestite stuff either). It is the transgressors of this that are the exception and ‘extreme.’

This is what the modern Democrat Party has come to – its hatred of western civilization and Christianity has become so extreme that the Left have crossed over to the oldest and most-implacable enemy of our civilization, namely Islam. Does Buttigieg know or even care that in many Islamic nations, homosexuality is punishable by death or imprisonment? The very society which is tolerant-enough to permit him to live a lifestyle of his choice is the one he chooses to attack.
When communist strongman Josef Stalin was still alive, her was once heard to speak derisively of the “useful idiots” of communism in the West, dupes who would be discarded once their usefulness to communism was ended. Buttigieg is just such a dupe – except in the cause of Islam.

Homosexuality was also punishable by death in the Torah, Old Testament: Leviticus 18:22, 20:13; consequences of in 18:29.
However nowhere is the death penalty recorded as being carried out as prescribed anywhere in Scripture. The law as written to Israel at that time was apparently deterrent enough.

Open your eyes. Those aren’t Christians and Jews throwing homosexuals off of tall buildings in places like Tehran; they are Muslims. The Old Testament and Torah may contain violent passages, but unlike Muslims, Jews and Christians seldom act upon them. Nor do the Buddhists, Hindus, Taoists, or other non-Muslims. Across the world, acts of terrorism and violence are so often committed by Muslims that many people no longer even bother to ask who the culprits are. They know, without asking, that it is the soldiers of Allah waging jihad, just as Mohammed commanded them to do.

God gave Moses what we call the Mosaic law. This is the law in the Old Testament. The law hasn’t gone away. In addition to Jesus saying that nothing is being removed but rather even the smallest mark or letter is preserved, Jesus tells us in verse 17 that he came to fulfill the requirements of the law and not abolish it.
If the requirement of the law was abrogated, we wouldn’t need a savior. But because the law is not abrogated, the core element of the law being that all sin must be atoned for because God is holy and righteous, and because there is no way we are not guilty of sin, one way or another our sin debt must be paid.
What’s “changed” is the payment plan. We have a new option that wasn’t apparent in the Old Testament. The Old Testament allowed an animal sacrifice to pay for sin. If you’re a Christian then you know this was a symbol that foretold of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. But the option for animal sacrifice was removed with the destruction of the temple in AD 70. When the temple was destroyed, so too were the records of who was of what line. Since the Law required the priests to be Levites, without knowing who is a Levite, there can be no legitimate priest. No priests and no temple meant atoning sacrifices are no longer possible.
In place of the temple and animal sacrifice, we have Jesus as our payment and our body is now the temple (See 1 Corinthians 3:16). So there is no longer a need for the old temple and animal sacrifice because the fulfillment of the requirement of the law is in Jesus and our covenant with God is evident in a circumcised heart. The new Covenant is God’s promise that He will credit His payment as our payment in full if we accept the payment God made.
Buttigieg’s Christianity is heretical. In his flavor of Christianity, man determines what is sin and not God. The god created in their own minds is a god of love who ignores all sin. Their’s is an a la carte Bible where you ignore the parts you don’t like and read what you want into the rest. In his Bible, Jesus did away with the Old Testament and the whole notion of sin except maybe for the biggies like thou shalt not murder.
There are many heretical Christian sects and cults that look exclusively at “Jesus is all about love” and turn that into its own —ism. These groups ignore the holiness and righteousness of God. Their followers’ Biblical illiteracy prevents them from discerning their leaders are nothing but false teachers who are leading them astray.

Technically sharia is derived from the Islamic scriptures… therefore sharia is not the shroud.
Islam is definitely a political ideology but it is shrouded in religious verbiage. Just because I say Allah wants me to be the ruler of the world and I add things like bowing down and praying to something doesn’t make it qualify as a religion. It’s clear Islam’s primary purpose isn’t God but that it should be ruler over all. How you get people to fall in line with your objective can take many forms. But it’s harder for people indoctrinated into believing God is prescribing certain things and then go against God’s commands versus when it’s just a man with political ambitions, it’s easy to turn against an ordinary man’s commands. Hence the religious sounding shroud.

Viz., Mohammad was genius in that he created ‘religious’ doctrine that cruelly enforces blind obedience and dire consequences for apostasy. Well stated.
What us dupes don’t realize, perhaps due to having rejected Christianity, is that not all religions are equal. In the past, we have rightly outlawed religions that were antithetical to our Judeo-Christian values. Mormonism wasn’t allowed until they denounced polygamy. Similarly the “Children of God” was outlawed. Their view of “love” was purely sexual so they were outlawed when it was discovered that they were “loving” children. Islam prescribes polygamy as well as child marriages which we characterized as pedophilia. These alone were enough to ban “religions” but Islam has more… it also prescribes spousal abuse, FGM, acts of terror, hate of those they disagree with, killing apostates and heretics… not to mention, a core element as you point out is its primary objective which is to subvert and take power… it’s a political ideology.
These should all disqualify Islam’s protected status as a religion. But in our politically correct climate where not all evil is equal, Islam has become the Left’s new religion… for them they must be thinking “at least it isn’t Christianity”… it is because they hate God, they embrace Islam and all ideas that are antithetical to what’s in the Bible and Judeo-Christian values.
The further we get from God… the more evil we invite because without God we can’t discern good from evil… the more evil we invite the more we will receive the wrath of our own making as God lifts His hands that were protecting us so we can face the consequences of our actions as God says, go that way if that is what you really want to do.

Turning the other cheek does NOT mean you cannot use self-defense in any form. TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK MEANS not ALLOWING WORDS TO THREATEN YOU, meaning, they are JUST WORDS, which will condemn the person speaking them if they are evil words. When threatened with physical harm, it does not apply.
When Jesus took the sword from Peter in the Garden after he cut off the ear of a Roman soldier coming for Jesus, HE RETURNED THE SWORD. Jesus did not take it away and tell him NEVER USE IT IN SELF DEFENSE.
GOD DOES NOT REWARD STUPIDITY. Defend your 2nd Amendment right using it with discerning WISDOM and always in self defense.

He knows what gender he is. He not confused about his gender. He’s against God and God’s design for man and woman. An effeminate man (the receiver) doesn’t think he’s a woman but “a man’s man”. There is a difference between homosexuals and those that are gender confused. Martina Navratilova recently caught flack for stating the obvious… a man dressed in a woman’s tennis outfit is still a man… and a man competing as a woman in tennis is not fair to real women. She’s not confused about her gender or the man’s.
I think Buttegieg is right to think he is hated. There are many who show an utter hatred towards homosexuals. It wasn’t that long ago when a gay man was tied and dragged behind a truck. Having said that, we’ve come a long way into not only accepting homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle but enforcing that everybody embraces and celebrates it and hating the person that thinks it is wrong.
There is a natural tendency to react against evil. That doesn’t mean the reaction is/was good. There was a time when there was some discernment between that which is good and that which is evil. Dragging a gay man behind a truck is responding to what was perceived as an evil with evil. Biblical illiteracy is often the root of much evil including those who justify evil acts using Bible verses. Specifically for those who claim to be Christian, spewing hatred towards homosexuals is a blindness of not seeing themselves as a sinner saved by grace but deluded into a self-righteousness as if they are God.
As a Christian, we need to abhor the sin but have love and compassion for the sinner so that rather than being eternally damned, they might receive salvation in fulfillment of the command to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. As Christians, we shouldn’t even want our enemy to receive God’s final judgment because that would be so horrible even for them hence we are commanded to bless our enemy and pray for those who persecute us… pray for salvation for them and not that God would take them out.
So likewise Buttegieg and his … partner needs our prayer… a prayer to come to know and love God and realize his “God” is a god made in his image and is not the God of the Bible. And pray that he’d come to understand and embrace God’s design for man and God’s plan for him… and that he would repent and turn towards God.
