President Trump: If Iran does anything, they will suffer

24

Lord knows they are asking for it with all their bluff and bluster. But I suspect, save for pranks and skirmishes through proxies, Iran won’t do anything stupid. They are cowardly and only act when we have a spineless, weak President like Obama. They are desperate though. Their people have been trying to overthrow those mullahs for years.

Trump was later asked if he was concerned about the recent alleged acts of sabotage against two Saudi Arabian oil tankers and a Norwegian ship over the weekend.

“We’ll see what happens,” Trump responded. “It’s going to be a bad problem for Iran if something happens, I can tell you that. They’re not going to be happy. They are not going to be happy people.”
“There was no immediate indication as to who may have been responsible or why the damage was inflicted, but the incidents occurred at the same time and place off the coast of the United Arab Emirates only days after the United States has dispatched warships and bombers to the area to deter alleged threats from Iran,” The Washington Post reported. “The location is near a sea lane critical to the world’s supply of oil, and the incidents followed a warning by U.S. maritime authorities that Iran might seek to disrupt commercial shipping in the area.”

The Post noted that one of the oil tankers had been preparing to deliver oil to the United States.

Trump: If Iran does anything, they will suffer

US President warns Iran will “suffer greatly” if it targeted US interests.

By INN, May 13, 2019:

US President Donald Trump warned on Monday that Iran would “suffer greatly” if it targeted US interests.

“We’ll see what happens with Iran. If they do anything, it will be a very bad mistake,” Trump told reporters at the White House, according to Reuters.

“If they do anything they will suffer greatly,” he added.

The comments come amid heightened tensions with Iran in the wake of the US withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, and after Washington deployed an aircraft carrier and more jet fighters to the Middle East.

Last week, the US military deployed an aircraft carrier and B-52 bombers to the Middle East in a move that US officials said was made to counter “clear indications” of threats from Iran to American forces in the region.

Last Thursday, Trump urged Iran’s leaders to talk with him about giving up their nuclear program but also made clear he could not rule out a military confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

Trump’s comments on Monday came after the United Arab Emirates reported four commercial vessels had been sabotaged on Sunday near Fujairah emirate just outside the Strait of Hormuz. Iran sought to distance itself from the incident.

On Friday, the deputy leader of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps’ political bureau stressed that Iran will not engage in talks with the US and added that the United States would never “dare” to attack the Islamic Republic.

“We will not negotiate. There will be no negotiations on any issue with the US and the US will not dare to attack Iran,” said the senior leader, Yadollah Javani.

Later on Friday, a senior Iranian cleric warned that the US navy fleet deployed to the region could be “destroyed with one missile”.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo canceled a trip to Moscow on Monday and instead stopped in Brussels to share information on “escalating” threats from Iran with European allies and NATO officials, the US special representative for Iran said.

Pompeo last week threatened a “swift and decisive” US response to any attack by Iran.

Too bad Iran and Iraq didn’t wipe each other off the map in the 1980s. That would have made the world great again!

Exactly right !! That war should have never been stopped. When Muslims start killing each other one should never intervene in such welcome events.

Darn right! Just like when drug dealers kill drug dealers and gang members kill gang members. It’s a wonderful thing for law abiding citizens. Not to mention it keeps a police officer from being railroaded by a corrupt DA office. Ask Sgt. Barry from the NYPD what I’m talking about.

Unless Trump passes E.O banning all Lobbying by Iranian proxies , they’ll have lot of political clout within USA.

Dems were paid by Iranian lobbyists to support Nuke deal http://tinyurl.com/mcake4d

And their holdovers still support it.

Its all about money. Anyone pays them they will sell out American interests.
china, Iran, qatar even pukistan know it and they have been screwing up America for decades now

Clinton also got funds from same source multiple times !

They and Obama and the rest of the Dems are in fact far more dangerous to the U.S.A. and the rest of the world than the Mafia, Triad, Yakusa, the Drug Cartells including other criminal outfits combined.

I thought it was illegal already not to take foreign money.
It is all about money. Ask Hillary.
Would you believe Hillary is still doing that ridiculous speaking tour or whatever she calls it with Bill?
No kidding, the going rate is $2.00 a ticket and people still aren’t coming. It is estimated that 83% of the seats are empty!

I don’t believe a word that Trump says anymore. He’s like that character on Howdy Doody, Phineas T. Bluster. Nothing but Hot Air. He has made so many threats and tough guy comments, none of which he has acted upon (has the muslim brotherhood been labeled a terrorist organization yet?)

He is spouting off about Iran while thousands of illegals and probably Islamic fighters, pour across the open Mexican Border.

Both he and Bolton, his NSA, are draft dodgers from the VN era. Bolton joined the Maryland NG in 1970 because he didn’t want to die in an unwinnable war! (his words) I am not sure how Trump dodged being drafted. He reminds me of Dick Cheney. The biggest war mongers are always those who have never seen a war close up or been shot at and missed!

Are you just distracting from the criminal Dems? The carrier group DJT sent to near Iraq (and B-52s !) isn’t bluster. Let’s see: Dem. Pres. sent pallets of cash to Iraq gratis, and Repub. Pres.sent bombers, you dope.

We all can rest comfortably that the mad mullahs will “try something,” and Trump will respond. I think that is the plan.

Bring it on IRAN. I don’t think Trump is kidding…………

I think Trump is trying his best to be diplomatic, but there are just SOME evil countries that really don’t care about their people. Wanna bet Trump is getting ready to nuke this country IF Iran starts even the smallest attack against Israel or America? Any bets?

Trump doesn’t need Congress for this…………only if he declares a war and he won’t do that UNTIL he kicks Iran into 1930.
