US Treasury Takes in $160 BILLION Surplus in April Alone, Revenues ‘All Time High’

Hannity, May 10, 2019:

The US economy continued to roar to life during the first quarter of 2019, with new data showing the Treasury took in a whopping $160 billion surplus in April alone.

Story continues below advertisement

“The federal government recorded a $160.3 billion surplus in April as revenues jumped to an all-time high,” reports the Associated Press. “The Trump administration projected in March that this year’s deficit will hit $1.1 trillion, up from an actual deficit of $779 billion for the budget year that ended Sept. 30. The administration is projecting the deficit will stay above $1 trillion for four straight years.”

The strong economic report comes as top Democratic presidential contenders -including Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Joe Biden- vow to repeal President Trump’s tax cuts should they retake the White House.

Though this is more evidence that Trump’s policies are extraordinarily favorable to making “America Great again,’ I suspect there will be fallout ahead as a result of the china tariff/trade problem, but I hope that America will continue to bounce ahead, while our both commercial and military enemy China falls a part. I have listened to the democratic candidates speak, especially those who speak to proposals and an agenda, and I am presently convinced that what they are proposing is ludicrous and are simply not likely to be payable even by our society. Right now, I remain A TRUMP SUPPORTER, AND I HOPE HE CONTINUES TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT AGAINST THOSE LEGISLATORS WHO ARE ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT KEEPING THIER JOB AND THE BENEFITS THAT COME WITH IT, AND NOT WHAT IS BEST FOR THE PEOPLE. I HOPE WE ADOPT TERM LIMITS.

quit following propaganda. That entire BS is about the I.P. rights, the Chinese buying oil from Iran despite sanctions, and it’s transport through the Persian Gulf protected by Russia. Oil cheaper than either Opec or the US can deliver. You know… just the old World War III stuff that’s been going on for years.

Agree. Dems and RINO’s have been bought out by china and corporates who benefited by screwing up American economy

Dems were paid by Iranian lobbyists to support Nuke deal http://tinyurl.com/mcake4d

And their holdovers still support it.

Its all about money. Anyone pays them they will sell out American interests.
china, Iran, qatar even pukistan know it and they have been screwing up America for decades now

I’m not sure where that stands. The pentagon donated a billion and last I read 25 billion was coming out of another military spending budget. I wish there was clearer communication on this.

There is some good news –

We can hold asylum seekers in Mexico and illegals can be detained indefinitely. Courts upheld that but of course it will finally end up at the Supreme Court. Also —–

ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO SELF DEPORT ARE WAY UP UNDER TRUMP
Steven Ahle
MAY 9, 2019

At first, he was sabotaged by former Speaker of the House and noted RINO, Paul Ryan and now he is fighting the entire Democratic party that has placed illegal aliens over American citizens. He has made headway, but he has been doing it all by himself since the House will not do anything about the border crises.

Making them wait in Mexico and the long wait for a hearing seems to be driving them to go home.

The number of illegal aliens who are choosing to voluntarily deport themselves has spiked since President Donald Trump entered the White House.

Illegal immigrants who were granted voluntary departure — also known as “self-deportation” — increased by 50% in 2017, according to information compiled by The Marshall Project. In fiscal year 2018, the number of aliens who asked an immigration court for permission to leave the country on their own accord doubled from the previous fiscal year. Applications in 2018, in fact, reached a seven-year high.

The rising number of self-deportations far outpaces the 17% growth in overall U.S. immigration cases, indicating that a higher percentage of illegal migrants are opting to leave rather than face government-coerced deportation.

There are incentives for illegals who choose to voluntarily leave. Instead of being held in a detention center for an indefinite amount of time or undergo a strenuous courtroom battle, undocumented immigrants can simply return to their home country. Additionally, migrants who don’t have a deportation on their record are not required to wait years to apply for a U.S. visa to re-enter the country.

They don’t understand economics. When people are employed and salaries and wages are UP, more tax dollars come in. I think they simply can’t see not having the GOVERNMENT take care of them and all is fair as all suffer in poverty except for the multinational banks and multinational corporations. They forget about how things work. Liberals are in full blown Marxist mode. They always seem to think in terms of zero sum gain.

And the libturds still don’t have a clue about those facts! Remember how ubumer extended unemployment to 96 weeks and also promised everyone free crap and welfare recipients went up to over 50 million? The libturd dumocraps keep thinking that taxing people to death will create jobs when businesses create jobs not welfare recipients! Can’t fix STUPID with libturds, the destroyers of the earth.

Obomination did so many horrendous things… like an Obama phone – yes lots on welfare to keep people government dependent and of course those “shovel ready jobs” never happened and literally laughed at when questioned about them.

What about the government money stimulus that was to jump start our economy?
Cash for clunkers, again using our tax dollars! ? What a joke that was. All he wanted to do was bankrupt our country and impoverish us.

How about baling out GM with OUR tax dollars? Did you ever get a thank you or a check when they paid it back? What incentive do other companies have to be fiscally responsible if our tax dollars bail them out? If you went bankrupt would tax payers bail you out? The executives didn’t care. They have their golden parachutes and bonuses.
I hate thinking about that Muslim Marxist and the mess he made.

BTW, did you know CHINA is a majority stockholder with Walmart? Is it any wonder Walmart is chock full of products made in China or connected with China? It just goes on and on and one – corruption and selling out our country.

Or how about Solyendra ? I believe China eventually bought it for a song.

Tulsa billionaire George Kaiser, a key Obama backer who raised between $50,000 and $100,000 for the president’s election campaign, is one of Solyndra’s primary investors. Kaiser himself donated $53,500 to Obama’s 2008 election campaign, split between the DSCC and Obama For America. Kaiser also made several visits to the White House and appeared at some White House events next to Obama officials. And now, just two years after securing a half-billion-dollar federal loan, Solyndra has said that it will declare Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

https://www.newsmax.com/FastFeatures/Barack-Obama-Solyndra-Scandal-Green-Energy/2015/01/29/id/621537/

Campaign finance records show Kaiser and Solyndra executives and board members donated $87,050 total to Obama’s election campaign.

Here are eight facts about the Barack Obama Solyndra scandal:

1. In 2009, the California-based green energy solar panel manufacturer Solyndra received a $535 million loan. The stimulus-funded loan, which was originally applied for in 2006 under the Bush Administration, was guaranteed by the Department of Energy.

2. While visiting Solyndra in May of 2010, President Barack Obama claimed Solyndra was “leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.”

3. In August of 2011, The Washington Post reported that Solyndra shut down, “leaving 1,100 people out of work and taxpayers obligated for $535 million in federal loans.” According to Solyndra Chief Executive Brian Harrison, “Regulatory and policy uncertainties made it impossible to raise capital to quickly rescue the operation.”

4. The Solyndra controversy was elevated to a scandal when it was revealed that Office of Management and Budget officials felt pressured to approve the loan, despite an awareness of Solyndra’s financial instability. ABC News reported, “The deal later came under scrutiny from independent government watch dogs and members of Congress, which said the administration had bypassed key taxpayer protections in a rush to approve the funds — claims the administration has denied.”

5. Reporter Chris Good from The Atlantic wrote, “If White House officials handled taxpayer dollars irresponsibly for the sake of promoting Obama’s signature piece of legislation at the time, it would constitute a potential ethical lapse that resonates with criticisms against the stimulus and ballooning deficits.”

6. Questions about potential political motivations behind the special treatment of the Solyndra loan further fueled the green energy scandal. The Week reported, “The family foundation of billionaire George Kaiser, an Obama fundraiser, is one of Solyndra’s big investors. The GOP says that Team Obama interfered to speed up the loan approval, cutting short due diligence so that Vice President Joe Biden could announce the loan at the Sept. 4, 2009, groundbreaking of a new Solyndra factory being financed by that government cash.”

7. Newly appointed White House Ebola response coordinator Ron Klain was previously Joe Biden’s chief of staff. According to The Washington Post, Klain “dismissed auditor’s concerns about Solyndra’s solvency, reasoning that all innovative companies come with risk.”

8. Thomas Pyle of U.S. News wrote an article on the issuance of new loan guarantees to additional green companies despite the Solyndra scandal. “Now here we are, $535 billion in wasted taxpayer dollars later, and it seems that the administration is intent on going full speed ahead. In fact, the president recently said in an interview that the Solyndra deal was ‘a good bet.’ Talk about a disconnect.”

While we are here on banknotes.

A good one is the new Australian $50 note one cannot read the spelling error without a very good magnifying glass.
One you cannot copy the note with a scanner to enlarge, comes up not allowed with the new printer I obtained. One might be lucky with old printer. What technology have put into the new Australian notes, a minature sized chip? The strong magnifying glass I cannot read the mispelt word.

Just thought of way around it, will try it and photograph it and enlarge.

Here is a better view of the $50 note with second image. Just thought of how to view is take a photograph and blow it up to enlarge

I think the new notes cost a couple billion dollars to print a couple hundred million $50 notes if correct

Trump knows just how to handle the Chinese. It’s fascinating!

Details of Beijing Reversal Surface – China Said: ‘trust us’ – USTR Lighthizer said: ‘go spit’
Posted on May 8, 2019 by sundance

(25% tariffs are now on Chinese goods as of Friday 5/10./19)

USTR Robert Lighthizer has filed the official notification with the federal register for the increase in Section 301 tariffs from 10% to 25% effective Friday (full pdf below). Additionally Reuters has exclusive details of the collapse in U.S-China trade talks.

(The Chinese want is to “trust” them after stripping off months of concessions. LOL)

WASHINGTON/BEIJING (Reuters) – The diplomatic cable from Beijing arrived in Washington late on Friday night, with systematic edits to a nearly 150-page draft trade agreement that would blow up months of negotiations between the world’s two largest economies, according to three U.S. government sources and three private sector sources briefed on the talks.

The document was riddled with reversals by China that undermined core U.S. demands, the sources told Reuters.

In each of the seven chapters of the draft trade deal, China had deleted its commitments to change laws to resolve core complaints that caused the United States to launch a trade war: Theft of U.S. intellectual property and trade secrets; forced technology transfers; competition policy; access to financial services; and currency manipulation.

[…] The stripping of binding legal language from the draft struck directly at the highest priority of U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer – who views changes to Chinese laws as essential to verifying compliance after years of what U.S. officials have called empty reform promises.

[…] Lighthizer and U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin were taken aback at the extent of the changes in the draft. The two cabinet officials on Monday told reporters that Chinese backtracking had prompted Trump’s tariff order but did not provide details on the depth and breadth of the revisions.

Liu last week told Lighthizer and Mnuchin that they needed to trust China to fulfill its pledges through administrative and regulatory changes, two of the sources said. Both Mnuchin and Lighthizer considered that unacceptable, given China’s history of failing to fulfill reform pledges. (read more)

Multinational corporations, BIG AG, are now invested in controlling the outputs of U.S. agricultural industry and farmers. This process is why food prices have risen exponentially in the past decade. (They have been doing this for DECADES!)

The free market is not determining price; there is no “supply and demand” influence within this modern agricultural dynamic. Food commodities are now a controlled market just like durable goods. The raw material (harvests writ large) are exploited by the financial interests of massive multinational corporations.

Because the domestic supply-side agricultural market is based on perishable goods; this predictable Chinese response has a rapid downstream impact. The wholesale price of domestic food drops rapidly inside the U.S. as the supply now exceeds the market. The multinational mega-food conglomerates will be apoplectic.

The prices of imported durable goods (stuff from China) will increase, slowly over time; depending on the supply chain for the specific product sector. However, if China retaliates by stopping import of U.S. agriculture products, the prices for U.S. domestic highly-consumable goods drops quickly.

In this scenario Wall Street is hardest hit. Other than the AG sector, Main Street -and the U.S. consumer therein- actually benefits.

The Big Club will go bananas.

Gotta LOVE Trump!

Overall U.S. inflation remains low relative to the economic gains from MAGAnomic policy. [Current CPI HERE]. GDP and wage growth are both exceeding inflation. As such, now is indeed the best time to confront China. President Trump notes this today in a tweet:
comment image

Inflation in the U.S. remains low overall at 1.8%…. now is the perfect time to hit Beijing with expanded tariffs. However, President Trump knows China will retaliate through the multinationals on Wall Street. President Trump knows China will specifically target the U.S. Agriculture sector. China will likely attempt to put pressure on Trump by refusing to buy U.S. farm product. The BIG AG multinationals will go bananas.

The BIG AG multinationals, those who control food/farm production, also control key Senators; they have been purchased through lobbyists. This is part of the Big Club approach/strategy. Wall Street and the U.S. Senate will be aligned to support China; as a consequence President Trump needs to counteract their effort.

This will tide us over short term till China comes to their senses.
comment image

President Trump is proposing to counteract the Chinese boycott of U.S. farm product, by using income from the Chinese tariffs to purchase the farm product. It would appear the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Secretary Sonny Perdue, would be in charge of the program.

In the short term this would mean the corporate income losses from BIG AG multinationals would be offset by U.S. purchases. The Dept. of Agriculture would purchase harvests that exceed the domestic U.S. supply need. President Trump is proposing we then give that harvest to nations who need food: “poor and starving countries”.
(Of course that would be written off to further protect our farmers.)

Food is a fungible asset. That is, all have to buy and consume it or starve and die. If China requires X amount of food imports to feed its people then it must import it from other nations even if not from the USA. In which case the US can export to those markets whose food has been diverted to China. This is not a crisis except for the China lobby who have been selling out the USA for 70 years. By the way, China buys from the USA because we have the lowest cost of food production. If it buys from other sources it will have to pay higher prices. China loses either way and the USA wins. Trump is a business genius. This is simple Economics 101.

It’s coming from rapidly expanding tax revenues. When you lower taxes people and companies make a lot more money and they pay taxes on it,except if you are Google or Facebook or Twitter and you manage to pay no taxes at all.

Judge Orders Florida Election Officials to Offer Ballots Printed in Spanish
– By WARNER TODD HUSTON 8 Sep 2018
“U.S. District Judge Mark Walker ruled that the state must comply with the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and provide the Spanish-language voting ballots after thousands of Puerto Rican natives moved to the Sunshine State in the wake of Hurricane Maria, NPR reports…The secretary of state had made the argument that he has no relevant power to force county election supervisors to act. The Barack Obama-appointed judge ordered that 32 of Florida’s 67 counties must have the Spanish-language ballots on hand in the coming general election. He also ordered that Spanish-speaking voters be made aware that the ballots are on hand for their use and said signage and election notices in Spanish must be added to those posted in English on county election websites.” – By WARNER TODD HUSTON 8 Sep 2018

Shame our political parties try to crush Pauline Hanson as the Democrats do to Trump.

I am sick and tired of the cheap Chinese imports where things just do not last.

Good on the USA having Trump to change the economy for the better. All those that vote for the Democrats must have rocks in their brains as their jobs will go under Democrats and USA flooded by beheading Muslim rapist.

That is true for working Americans but not for the unemployed. The ones that don’t work through choice will vote Democrat. Obviously. Fortunately every genuine out of work person that finds a job will more likely vote Republican rightly believing that is the best way to keep their job.

Conserve the status quo (work) = conservative.
