In midst of non-apology for one Jew-hating cartoon, ‘New York Times’ publishes ANOTHER

19

The Times on April 27 said it would publish an “editor’s note” in Monday’s international edition, saying, “A political cartoon in the international print edition of The New York Times on Thursday included anti-Semitic tropes, depicting the prime minister of Israel as a guide dog with a Star of David collar leading the president of the United States, shown wearing a skullcap. The image was offensive, and it was an error of judgment to publish it. It was provided by The New York Times News Service and Syndicate, which has since deleted it.”

The American Jewish Committee responded to the Times by tweeting, “Apology not accepted. How many @nytimes editors looked at a cartoon that would not have looked out of place on a white supremacist website and thought it met the paper’s editorial standards? What does this say about your processes or your decision makers? How are you fixing it?”

The American Jewish Committee’s CEO, David Harris, tweeted, “The ‘cartoon’ is beyond shocking. Anti-Semitic in the extreme. No, ‘apology’ isn’t adequate. Rather, @nytimes owes readers an explanation of how this happened — after all, decision to print it involved more than one person — & what it says about the paper’s view of Israel & Jews.” (WIN)

This is no accident.

New York Times apologizes, blames ‘single editor’ for anti-Semitic cartoon in second statement

David Gerstman: “The New York Times published an anti-Semitic cartoon, depicting a Bibi-faced dog leading a blind President Trump. The next day a gunman opened fire in a California synagogue, killing one and injuring several others. Like the Pittsburgh shooter, this suspect detested Trump for being too pro-Israel. Unsure if The New York Times will make the connection between the hate it promoted, and the violence that ensued.”

The antisemitism from the New York Times has reached Nazi like levels. The far-left media outlets such as the New York Times, and the Washington Post, and CNN, and MSNBC have contributed the most to the normalization of anti-Semitism in America, due to their relentless demonization of the Jewish state of Israel.

It will continue to be open season on American Jews, until the American Jewish community decides to denounce and fight the Left. Any American Jew who chooses to vote against President Trump in 2020 should be institutionalized. #JEXODUS

In midst of apology for one anti-Semitic cartoon, ‘New York Times’ publishes another, JNS, Jackson Richman, April 29th, 2019:

Despite apologizing on Sunday for running an anti-Semitic cartoon that ran in its international edition on Thursday, The New York Times published another anti-Semitic cartoon in the same edition over the weekend.

The weekend cartoon by Norwegian cartoonist Roar Hagen depicts Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with sinister eyes taking a picture of himself with a selfie-stick carrying in what appears to be an empty desert with a tablet featuring the Israeli flag painted on it.

The cartoon also resembles a different one from the same cartoonist featuring Netanyahu carrying a tablet that resembles the Ten Commandments, which the Israelites received in the desert after fleeing their enslaved lives in Egypt, in what appears to be a desert being followed by a sinister-looking U.S. President Donald Trump, both walking in the opposite parallel of a directional sign marked “Golan,” a reference to the Golan Heights.

Trump officially recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan last month.

Injured California rabbi gets a call from President Donald Trump: ‘He was just so comforting’, USA Today, Kristen Lam:

The rabbi injured in the California synagogue shooting on Saturday said he found comfort in a personal call from President Donald Trump.

Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein of Chabad in Poway described the 10- to 15-minute conversation with Trump as meaningful.

“He was just so comforting,” Goldstein said at a press conference Sunday afternoon. “I’m really grateful to our president for taking the time and making that effort to share with us his comfort and consolation.”

Goldstein, 57, said he received the call at home and was amazed to hear the White House secretary on the line. It was his first conversation with a U.S. president, he said.

The rabbi was one of three injured when a gunman opened fire on Saturday while the congregation celebrated the last day of Passover. One woman, Lori Gilbert-Kaye, was killed as she shielded Goldstein from gunfire. Goldstein said she was a longtime friend and devoted member of the congregation.

“He shared with me condolences on behalf of the United States of America,” Goldstein said of Trump’s call. “We spoke about the moment of silence. And he spoke about his love of peace and Judaism and Israel.”

What i take from this article is that if these type of cartoons were published about Islamic characters, those people would declare a fatwa, and seek the death of those who contributed to its publication. On the other hand, the world of Judaism merely speaks the truth that there are out there people who, without any justification, are fanning the flames of Antisemitism, without calling for violence against those responsible. That difference in the approach of these very different cultures speaks volumes, and I hope most fair minded people will recognize those considerable differences in these very different people. Untill we all recognize what these differences are, we will not be safe from the world of Islam.

It will never happen but just supposing the far-left pro-Islamic NYT had presented a cartoon of a Muslim.

How very ‘brave’ the NYT are when it comes to insulting the presidents of US and Israel, BUT, would they dare insult Erdogan?

I knew the NYT did it on purpose. They knew there would be backlash. But they didn’t care as long as millions got to see it. Damn the consequences.

It was the riling that counted. They are all in the closet grinning ear to ear.

Ya know, a lot of this vitriol, against the Jewish State, is surrounded by, the half-cocked notion, that Israel is “occupying” the West Bank, and other, supposed, arab lands.
These “occupied” territories, were lands lost, to the Israelis, when the Arabs decided to invade Israel. Israel didn’t take these lands, in an invasion. They took these lands, in a defensive counter-invasion. If you attack someone, to take something from them, only to lose, what you had, too bad, so sad, don’t cry about it. You gambled, you lost. Don’t gamble again.
God, gave these lands, to the Hebrews, long ago. Today’s Israel, is not fully to the borders, of that Promised Land. Let’s face it, the Arabs are stupid enough to try this again. Damascus will be destroyed. Israel will be enlarged. The world will howl, about more occupied land.
I find it sad, that, when the Gaza Strip, was “occupied”, by the Israelis, it flourished. Now that the “Palestinians”, have control, it’s a turd again. That’s what Muslims do. Turn gold into turds. It’s the sadim touch.
I find it sad, also, that we had a President (Jackson), that stole Indian lands. If you want to howl about occupied territory, the Indians have a good case. There are arrowheads everywhere. Yet, I don’t see them beheading anyone, blowing people up, or conducting mass shootings. Just my $.02 worth.
