Notre Dame FIRE: Jihadis CHEER devastating blaze and call it ‘RETRIBUTION’

45

The great icon of Christianity in France. Quite a conquest. A building that has survived numerous occupations, revolutions, the Nazis and two World Wars has succumbed. Will Macron’s government divulge who and what started the inferno? Or will it be too incendiary?

The soaring cathedral, which caught fire Monday, has seen the coronations of kings and emperors, the beatification of Joan of Arc and other famous events

Among many historic events that have taken place at the cathedral, Henry VI of England was crowned king there in 1431 and Napoleon was made emperor in 1804 after taking the crown from the hands of Pope Pius VII and placing it on his own head. In 1909, Joan of Arc was beatified by Pope Pius X inside Notre Dame.

Story continues below advertisement

The cathedral also is known for the legend of the hunchback of Notre Dame, the fictional bell-ringer immortalized by Victor Hugo in his 1831 novel, which later was adapted into multiple films, including an animated Disney feature.

The cathedral is a major pilgrimage site for Catholics from France and around the world. Among the holy relics preserved there are a crown of thorns said to have been worn by Jesus during his crucifixion and a piece of the cross on which he was crucified.

The church’s iconic twin towers at the front of the structure make it perhaps the second most recognizable monument in the French capital after the Eiffel Tower. (WSJ)

Notre Dame FIRE: Sick ISIS fanatics praise devastating blaze and call it ‘RETRIBUTION’

ISIS fanatics have posted a chilling message bidding “au revoir” to Notre Dame after the historic cathedral was ravaged by a devastating fire.

By Rebecca Perring, The Express, Apr 16, 2019:

A poster created by an ISIS affiliated propaganda wing shows the cathedral engulfed by flames with the words “have a good day” and describes the inferno as “retribution and punishment”. According to the Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium, the Al-Muntasir group created the poster, which reads: “Its construction began in the year 1163 and ended in 1345. It’s time to say goodbye to your oratory polytheism.”
This is not the first time the Al-Munatsir media organisation has revelled in terror attacks that have rocked France over the years.

The Paris prosecutor’s office have ruled out terror-related motives for now and say they are treating the fire as an accident.

French President Emmanuel Macron said an international campaign would be launched to raise funds for the rebuilding of Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The Al-Muntasir group

The fast-moving fire consumed Notre-Dame Cathedral on Monday in a massive, roaring blaze that devastated the Parisian landmark, a searing loss for the city and for France.

Flames that began in the early evening burst rapidly through the roof of the centuries-old cathedral and engulfed the spire, which collapsed, quickly followed by the entire roof.

As a huge plume of smoke wafted across the city and ash fell over a large area, Parisians watched from the other side of the River Seine gasped as the spire folded over onto itself and fell into the inferno.

Mr Macron said the whole nation was moved, tweeting: “Like all our compatriots, I am sad this evening to see this part of all of us burn.”

The cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century, features in Victor Hugo’s classic novel “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame”. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site that attracts millions of tourists every year.

It is a focal point for French Roman Catholics who like Christians around the world are celebrating Holy Week, marking the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Islam is a religion of Hate.

Not true, Phil. It’s not a religion.

Sideswhich, no less than a certain POTUS assured me that Islam was a “Religion of Peace”.

What is your definition of religion?

Fair question, yiyoya. I have no defintion of what a religion is. I have a rather arbitrary definition of what it is not: viz. if you cannot leave it peacefully, it ain’t a religion.

Whether a religion, an ideology, or a huge cult, Islam promotes hatred of those who don’t agree with them.

Of course they are calling it an “accident”. Don’t want to offend the sensibilities of the poor little muslims.

I don’t believe it is an accident. There has been a consistent pattern of Muslims doing damage to churches.
The timing – Easter- and a beautiful historic Cathedral would be something they’d like destroyed.

European Churches: Vandalized, Defecated On, and Torched “Every Day”

I hold no proof that it was not an accident, but I remain skeptical. Numerous churches in France have faced desecration by Muslims, but the evildoers are as always continue anonymously. One scenario, perhaps one of the workers was a Muslim and did the heinous act. Then again, it will forever bend to conspiracy theories; the truth will never unfold. These are days of ugliness, a base hatred for those who differ from Islam, Globalism, and the Neo-Liberal Nazi movement.

As long as Macron, the EU, and those of the Globalist-Fascists diktat continue their collaborationist way with Islam, one’s Democratic Rights will become naught. Democrats are of the same perfidy, treasonous bent propagating hatred, denying peoples’ Constitutional Rights shall quickly follow. Western Culture is under siege; the enemy has infiltrated the gut of Western faux-Democracies. Soon, this Republic will suffer from these invaders and interlopers because of the fetid, betrayers, the Democrats. If so, this Republic, not unlike, its EU counterpart will die a slow, agonizing death. Thanks to the subversive Democratic party and its allies Islam, and Globalism.

The exposures, the indictments, the chaos among those in the same party, the remnant of those who still have sanity, a revival in our churches, and a good President, are a glimmer of hope, and may extend America a few more years. Otherwise, we are on life support.

Deb, over the course of history, thousands of churches have been desecrated, with many ruined, by Moslems acting in the name of their faith. As stirring a symbol as the surving portion of the Catheral of Notre Dame may be, its future looks bleak to me. Consider the tenacious assault on Hagia Sophia.

Lets hope that the great spirit of the west awakens before it is too late. We are sitting atop a great tower, dreaming of the stars and the future that we can create, whilst our foundations are being eaten away by termites.

I looked it up. Yes, what they do is wrong. The meaning of my comment, not sure if it offended, was that no matter how many times they attack, in the end they will not have the last laugh.

It reminded me of the steel cross that was standing after the towers went down on 9/11. A sign if you will.

No, didn’t offend, and I don’t mean to trivialize the importance of symbols:

Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18 NLT).

but the inability to see life on earth as happy, and end in itself that has the French morally prostrate.

Interesting comment, yiyoya, one that could be developed into a lengthy post, journal article, even book, if you have the time, inclination and insight to pursue it.

I’m not sure I agree with you. France does have a glorious tradition of celebrating life on earth, independent of an afterlife. As I see it, it is more the lack of respect for their own culture, a naivte about evil, coupled with leadership focused on no longer a time frame than the next election- an attitude that universal sufferage encourages- that has imperiled Western Civilization.

Canadian blogger Mark Steyn ( on fox news)
stated the notredame cathedral set in a largely muslim populated area of paris?

Jihadwatch at noon apr 15 posted a week old trial result from paris. Trial was for 1 of 3 female jihadists arrested in 2016. Their plans were to burn down notredame.

Then came followup facebook postings from ignorant arab named persons applauding this fire.
I believe ‘eye for an eye’. Just pray the french commies place this fire on some shoulders other than islamists.

I prefer MECCA in full pilgrimage mode. They worship a ROCK there.
People say it is a meteorite –
that’s how DUMB and BACKWARDS these people are worshiping a meteorite!
How can you worship a ROCK older than Islam? Inbreeding does strange things to people….
I’m flexible. If you prefer eliminating the gold dome mosque that would be okay too.

Muslims do see it as retribution.
We bombed their land so they feel they have the right to retaliate. They have a special HATRED for Jews and Christians. So burn up churches, denigrate Jews and whenever possible treat a person like Daniel Pearl.
Captured or kidnapped females deserve to be raped according the to the Quran too. Their entire ideology is evil.
These are ungrateful, people that should NEVER, EVER have been given refuge in the U.S. or any western country.

I have been very critical of Pope Frances for his ignoring the slaughter of Christians , Jews etc…
I doubt that Pope Benedict suffered from “health problems”. He understood the danger of ISLAM.
The problem was Pope Benedict wasn’t playing along with the globalists and he was trying to clean up the homosexual problem – that’s what I read long ago.

In 2006, Pope Benedict XVI (left) said what no Pope had ever dared to say — that there is a link between violence and Islam. In September 2006, he quoted Byzantine Emperor Manual II who said in 1391:
“Show me what Mohammad brought that was new and there you find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.” Yes he did his apology tour but it wasn’t enough. Ten years later, Pope Francis (right) never calls those responsible for anti-Christian violence by name and never mentions the word “Islam.”

‘They’ seem to remove good Popes (read, those who can’t be corrupted or controlled). There was a Pope, i think in the 1970’s, who lasted 33 days before his suspicious demise. David Yallop wrote an investigative book “In Gods Name’ about it.

”No construction workers were at the cathedral at the time of fire. None of my employees’, said Julien Le Bras the restoration company liaison man.
Now authorities are investigating a picture taken by a tourist showing suspicious man all dressed in white in side the Cathedral minutes before the fire.

The Christian church is not a building its people. Matt.18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” So they can burn them all down & the real church will only get stronger.

Naturally, the sneaky Mouslem will delight in it’s destruction. They destroyed priceless artifacts and blew-up statues awhile back in some ME country. (I forgot which one).

Lately, some DERANGED Mouslem has been going around smearing his feces on Christian churches and vandalizing many of them.

It didn’t SPARK JOY with them.

Maybe, just maybe, some of their brethren had a hand in setting it? Who in their right minds would cheer the burning of an 800 year old structure that exemplifies different kinds of architecture and is so rich in history? Oh, that’s right, the same ones who destroyed centuries old buildings and shrines in Iraq.
