Easter Bunny Treat Box and Handmade Card {Lil' Inker Designs}

It's Easter time which means handmade cards with bunnies and treats and everything springy and sweet! Today we'll look at a couple of cute Easter cards and treat bags that are simple to make with stamping and diecutting.

First up, meet the adorable Peek-a-Boo Bunny die, from Lil' Inker Designs. Oh my gracious, is she cute or WHAT!? This is a fun sized die because it will take up almost the whole size of a standard card. But it is ABSOLUTELY perfect on this treat bag from Spellbinders.

Have you ever heard of an Exploding Envelope Card? Start with a scoring board and make an envelope - but don't seal it up, because the envelope becomes the card! Fill it with tags, little pockets, and bits of this and that for a festive crafty gift. Want to know more about creating this project? Check out the exploding envelope tutorial here!  This project features stamps and dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts
Next up, this Easter scene came together  thanks to some scraps of patterned paper, a few die cut shapes, and the cute bunnies and eggs. The Easter Basket clear stamp set from Impression Obsession has the solid bunny stamps plus an assortment of patterned and solid Easter eggs - and it even has a basket to go with them. (I'll show you that in a sec!)
This Easter scene came together with thanks to some scraps of patterned paper, a few die cut shapes, and the cute bunnies and eggs. The Easter Basket clear stamp set from IO has the solid bunny stamps plus an assortment of patterned and solid Easter eggs - and it even has a basket to go with them.
I've used these bunny stamps a variety of ways before, and I wasn't quite sure about stamping them in BLACK - but I sort of like the contrast against the pastel colors. Want to see these bunnies used in some other ways?
For both of these projects, I stamped and embossed the bunnies in white. They look amazing stamped in white onto colored cardstock. And in that treat box you can see the basket stamp that's a part of this set. Also looks amazing embossed! The detail really pops. I cut a slit in the basket to tuck eggs and shredded paper "into" the basket. What a fun treat box to receive, right?!
Supplies Used on Today's Projects:
love using the Magic Mat for this project, because it alleviates those pesky cutting lines on the underneath side of die cut shapes. You know, the ones from your best used cutting plates?
