The NY post is almost alone in this. The left has so much seized control of the mass means of communication that these supremacist declarations by a jihad Jew hater is given respect and deference. So kudos to the NY post for taking a stand for the dead, for freedom, for America. There was no war before September 11, 2001.

NY Post Was Not Playing Around With Its Take Down Of Ilhan Omar’s 9/11 Comments
Many are rightfully outraged by Rep. Ilhan Omar’s comments about the terrorists that attacked on 9/11 taking the lives of some 3,000 innocent people, with Omar describing it as “some people” who “did something.”As Ed Morrisey highlighted at Town Hall, hardly anyone in the mainstream media covered this overtly horrid way of describing one of the worst tragedies to befall the United States. The New York Post, however, did cover Omar’s comments.
Not only did they cover the comments, but they also made it their front page story, and pulled zero punches in their takedown of Omar.
Inside, the New York Post’s editorial board eviscerated Omar for not only her comment, but her response to the outrage by pointing at those angry of her making light of the deaths of 3,000 American civilians by claiming those expressing anger were guilty of “incitement.”
Some people did something? Wow. What a way to describe the heinous surprise attack on America that claimed 3,000 lives. …
Yet Omar upped the obscure-the-facts ante Wednesday, declaring criticism of her “some people did something” line to be “incitement,” on the grounds that she has received death threats.
Huh? She’d rightly be outraged if anyone minimized those threats as merely “some words from some people.”
Omar’s cavalier brushing off of the murder of thousands of innocents on 9/11 should shock all Americans, Muslims included.
She even tripled down on her comments while appearing on CBS’ Late Night with Stephen Colbert, saying that the only reason people are as angry with her as they are is that she’s a Muslim.
“It is very much embedded in a lot of our culture these days, where you will have people come after minorities for things that they say, that they might have insinuated,” she said according to the NYP.
I have to agree with Morrisey about how to view Omar’s comments, at least if we’re to go by her own rules. The death threats coming at Omar could be viewed as “some people” who are “doing something.” It’s gross that Omar believes that the only time we should take death seriously is when it pertains to her in some way, and that racism is totally okay if it’s directed at Jewish people, but not Muslims.
I applaud the New York Post for this massive verbal slap. Every publication should show a bit of bravery and call out horrific things like the kind Omar did.

Ziggy, James and felix, on a side note I want to say that since being on this site I have learned a lot, not only from Pamela, but from commentators such as the three of you, and others’, like Dan Knight and Dennis, and some of whom are no longer here, like Achmed Mohandjob and others. What I also like is the mutual respect if there is a difference of opinion or something like James’ first response here, and not the personal attacks that are so prevalent on other sites. I agree, ed, I, also, have learned a lot from the posters mentioned. One is safe to express or debate an issue without fear of attack from others. It is the major reason, I return to this site, it is informative on all accounts. Personally, I have found debating with left is fruitless, not only recently but over the decades. Although, the hatred and vitriol from so-called Liberalism has accelerated more so the past eight years. Have a great weekend, too, ed.

Be wary of this man felix, he is no friend to Christianity. I recently saw a segment put out by David Wood, where Harris tried insinuating that Jesus advocated killing by quoting Luke 19:27. His claim was that Jesus said it so its’ true, but he totally misrepresented the verse by excluding that it was a parable Jesus was using to describe a King.
Intellectually dishonest, even hateful, would be words I would use to describe his deceitful portrayal, especially as he was talking to a university crowd (as scriptually ignorant as they come these days). I can’t accept that he didn’t know better – it taints everything he says, even about Islam. I used to think he was just bitter or spiteful – this kind of misrepresentation is next level. I’ve heard him before make outlandish comments regarding the writers of the NT – that they would bury babies live under the cornerstones of new buildings superstitiously believing it would protect the building. Why anyone would invite such a liar to a debate or to give a presentation.

You don’t have to have to grow facial hair, wear a robe, not smoke, not drink as long as you are advancing the cause of Islam as Obama did. Islam is a works driven ideology. As long as you did MORE to advance Islam, that will out weigh bad deeds. It is an insecure ideology. Murdering nonbelievers and giving up your life, tips the scales in your favor since giving up your life to murdering others to advance Islam is the ultimate sacrifice and you can request others to join you in hell after you become a martyr in hell, not “paradise” . This is why relatives are happy when a loved one commits jihad and depending on where they live they may get jihad martyr money – U.S. “aid money” that Trump ended with Palestinians.
What is in the heart comes out through your actions. He is evil to the core.
Did Obama ever let Muslims down?
Did he ever fail to advance the cause of Islam in any form?
Did he contain his hatred for Jews and Christians?
Did he play games with our military and arm terrorists we were fighting against?
Did he do all possible to help Iran have money (cash) and develop nuclear weapons?

The USS Cole bombing was a MUSLIM terrorist attack, on a Navy destroyer , on 12 October 2000, while she was being refueled in Yemen’s Aden harbor. 17 U.S. Navy sailors were killed and 39 injured. They were testing us again! Bill Clinton was President in 2000. I truly can not imagine being in the military under Clinton – it must have been totally demoralizing.
Al-Qaeda had previously attempted a similar but less publicized attack on the U.S. Navy destroyer USS The Sullivans while in port at Aden on 3 January 2000, as a part of the 2000 millennium attack plots. The plan was to load a boat full of explosives and detonate them near The Sullivans. However, the boat was so overladen that it sank, forcing the attack to be abandoned. (Again Clinton did nothing.) Hillary was busy peddling influence for money with out enemies.)

This lady, the subject of this article, is a product of what
is all about the insane belief system that is Islam. She probably is right to
some extent that her comments are blowing back at her because she is Muslim. My
response to that is simply what would you expect from a person who is so
tainted by the belief system that she promotes, that we “others” would not be
expected to see her as a foul and bias creature who does not belong in our
civilized society, and ought to be removed from her office as she clearly
cannot understand that the heinous crime of 9/11 was a direct result of the
belief system that is Islam. I feel no pity for this poisoned individual. Her
hate and acceptance of violence in her cavalier manner, and her now unjustified
promotion of the destruction of our ally Israel, leaves me believing that if
she had her way she would be in forefront of overturning our democracy to
substitute her Nazi like belief system: Islam.

Folks, pretty much every Muslim believes 9/11 was comeuppance for U.S. involvement in the Middle East and it’s staunch support for Israel. Remember the clown prince from Saudi Arabia Alaweed bin Talal who parachuted in a few days after 9/11 dangling a humanitarian cheque in front of Mayor Giuliani which the latter threw back it his face after the idiot said the same thing.
