Look at Israel’s best medical, scientific advances

Whiles the enemies of the Jewish state have one export and one export only, genocide, the Jewish people toil every day in the advancement of humanity while staving off the rockets, kidnappings, bullets, bloodshed and blood libels.

Israel just became the seventh nation to orbit the moon. Now in lunar orbit, Israel’s Beresheet mission preps for Moon landing.

Yesterday, Beresheet successfully entered a lunar capture orbit, where it will stay for roughly a week. During that time, the spacecraft will be documenting its stay, and it’s already sent back pictures of the lunar far side, including an image with Earth in the background. Mission managers plan for it to touch down in Mare Serenitatis next week. It’s a smooth area on the Moon’s near side. And the location sits just about 100 miles from both the landing site of Apollo 15 and Apollo 17. Because Beresheet is a spacecraft on a budget, it doesn’t carry any means of regulating its temperature. Engineers expect it to last for two to three days on the surface before it overheats under the sun’s rays in the Moon’s thin atmosphere.

Beresheet sent back its first pictures of the Moon’s far side yesterday after it was captured into lunar orbit. In one of its recent pictures, Beresheet captured Earth hanging behind the Moon’s far side.

What are Israel’s best medical advances? – Israel National News

After the Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan was named in the top 10 medical centres in the world, we wanted to reflect on some of the best medical advances produced by the Holy Land in recent years.

Argo Medical Technologies’ ReWalk robotic exoskeleton has gained huge media attention for allowing paraplegics to walk and run, and it was even used in the London and Tel Aviv marathons. In addition to being featured in the TV show “Glee,” the ReWalk Rehabilitation model currently is used by patients in rehabilitation centers across North America and Europe. There is also a model for everyday use, known as the ReWalk Personal, and it is currently available throughout Europe and awaiting FDA clearance in the United States.

The PillCam is still to date one of Israel’s most well-known and successful medical devices. Created by Given Imaging, the pill which is swallowed contains a small camera, making it an easier and less invasive form of an endoscopy and can detect disorders of the GI tract.

Nano Retina’s Bio-Retina, a tiny implantable device inserted into the retina in a 30-minute procedure, turns into an artificial retina that melds to the neurons in the eye. Activated by special eyeglasses, the device transforms natural light into an electrical impulse that stimulates neurons to send images to the brain. The prototype is advancing quickly through clinical trials.

Further developments are expected to be made in the fields of listening devices and dry eye treatment. In 2007, Audiodent developed an innovative hearing aid that clips easily inside the mouth, using the teeth and jawbone to transmit sound to the brain – improving sound quality enormously, particularly in loud places.

Looking at the future of medicine in Israel, Yaacov Nitzan of WhiteSwell has raised $30 million series B funding for the treatment to remove excess fluid from lungs and other organs. The process uses a catheter and is minimally invasive, to treat acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF).

In medicinal cannabis, Israel has continued to grow its research since Professor Raphael Mechoulam in 1964 established the foundations for scientific research. Seedo, a new company, has created the world’s first fully automated growing device for medical cannabis. Resembling a mini-fridge, the device is powered by algorithms and monitored by a smartphone app, effectively running as an independent cannabis growing machine.

Israeli Invention Creates Water Out of Thin Air

London-based duo Yosi Romano and Ziv Leinwand’s new product called Brizi, is set to revolutionize air distribution for children’s prams. The built in extractor pushes out unwanted air and passes only clean air to the baby in the pram, something that is well targeted for young parents and children in busy cities.

Montenegro President Returns from Israel with Big Gift for Disabled Children

By: JNS.org

Montenegro President Milo Đukanović has been in Israel over the past few days meeting with the country’s leadership, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin, to discuss economic, diplomatic and tourism projects between the two countries, in addition to talking about the current state of Montenegro Jewry.

“Welcome to Israel and to Jerusalem, our capital,” Rivlin told Đukanović on Wednesday. “Thank you for your support for the Jewish community in Montenegro, and thank you for your leadership in opposing rising anti-Semitism across Europe.”

Đukanović thanked Rivlin and said, “We have built close and deep relations through continuity of our contacts, and so I am delighted to invite you to visit Montenegro. The cooperation between us is flourishing, and I would be happy to widen and deepen it in additional fields.”

11 Amazing Tech Innovations That Came From Israel And You Didn’t Even Know About It

11 Amazing Tech Innovations That Came From Israel And You Didn’t Even Know About It

1) USB flash drive

The birth of the quintessential USB flash drive is disputed by three different companies, but one of the earliest working samples of flash storage media slapped onto a USB interface emerged from Israeli company M-Systems in December 2000 (in collaboration with IBM at the time). The first USB flash drives sported 8MB, 16MB and 32MB storage capacities.

2) Intel 8088 microprocessor

The world of personal computers wouldn’t have kicked off if it weren’t for the IBM PC, which was powered by the Intel 8088 microprocessor. Sporting close to 30,000 transistors, the Intel 8088 was clocked at 8 MHz — lightning quick by 1979 standards. It was created by Intel’s Haifa lab, forever changing the world of computing.
3) VoIP

If you remember Skype, you know how it allowed anyone to call any telephone in the world — right through your Internet connected microphone. For voice to be transmitted from one computer terminal to another telephone anywhere in the world needed some techno wizardry, which came about in the form of Voice over Internet Protocol (or VoIP), developed by an Israeli company called VocalTec. It did what Skype did much before Skype came about.
4) RSA public key encryption

One of the cornerstones of securing digital communications in a public setting is the RSA public key — most widely used encryption keys for data transmission. It wouldn’t have been possible without the joint effort of Israeli cryptographer, Adi Shamir.

5) ICQ

Whatsapp maybe one of the most popular chat applications right now, but at the dawn of the Internet there was only ICQ. Created by Israeli company Mirabilis in 1996, ICQ was the first stand-alone instant messenger of its kind, and also the first online instant messenger service — which allowed you to sign up and create accounts, have private conversations and more. No doubt, ICQ was the blueprint of other popular instant messaging services like AIM, Yahoo Messenger and Google Talk.
6) Viber

With 800 million registered users by December 2016, Viber’s another online chat, voice-calling and video-calling app that’s developed by two ex-Israel defense servicemen — Talmon Marco and Igor Magazinnik.
7) MobileEye

Another tech breakthrough coming from Israel is MobilEye, which pairs a tiny digital camera with intelligent algorithms to help drivers drive their vehicles more safely. The device is linked to a car’s steering system, alerting a driver if they change lanes too drastically, and even detects oncoming pedestrians for potential collisions. The system is embedded in GM, BMW and Volvo cars.

8) World’s smallest camera inside an endoscope

The world’s smallest live video camera measures just 0.99 mm was made by Israel-based company Medigus, and the camera was used on an endoscope to provide a breakthrough in the medical world.
9) World’s 1st commercial drip irrigation system

Invented in the 1960s, Israeli engineer Simcha Blass pioneered the smart drip and micro-irrigation system called Netafim — used for better utilizing the amount of water in agriculture. A classic case of necessity is the mother of invention, since Israel has large swathes of barren land. This pioneering irrigation technique now operates in 112 countries with 13 factories spread across the world.

10) World’s 1st DNA computer

All computers that you see around you run on silicon-based microprocessors. But what about computers that run on DNA? Sounds crazy, right? But according to the Guinness Book of World Records, “the smallest biological computing device” to have ever been built runs completely on enzymes and DNA molecules doing basic math. All thanks to the efforts of Israeli professor Ehud Shapiro, and his team, from the Weizmann Institute of Science for achieving this phenomenal feat in 2003.

Netanyahu vows to annex communities in Judea and Samaria if re-elected
April 6, 2019
By World Israel News Staff and AP

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will begin annexing Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria if he is re-elected to a fourth straight term. Such a move would be a departure from Israeli government policy.

Netanyahu made the remarks during an interview with Channel 12 in reference to the recent U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. When he was asked about annexing Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, he said “we’re on the way,” adding that “the next term [in office] will be fateful.”

(It certainly will be – one way or another.)

Close to half a million Jewish Israelis currently live in communities in Judea and Samaria, with town of all sizes growing steadily. During the Channel 12 interview Netanyahu also appeared to dismiss the prospect of Palestinian statehood, which would “endanger [Israel’s] existence,” reported Times of Israel.

Netanyahu clarified that security control over Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria would not be limited to clusters of towns called “blocs,” but would also extend to isolated settlements.

One day earlier, Netanyahu told Channel 13 he had communicated to U.S. President Donald Trump that he would not evacuate a “single” Israeli from Judea and Samaria as part of a forthcoming “deal of the century” Mideast peace plan, which Trump is expected to release in May following Israel’s April elections.

Israel, like America, is a nation of people that believe in
being productive, and approach life with gusto. They are a nation to be
admired, and their contributions to humanity can never be underestimated. Instead
of trying to wipe this nation off the map, the Arab/Islamic world should be
embracing Israel and do everything they can to try to emulate their productive
spirit and lust for life, as that is what is expected of our human species. I
realize that some of the Arab countries are today recognizing that they are
best served by opening up a more friendly dialogue with Israel, but Israel continues
to face the belief system that respects them NOT! When the Arab world actually
accepts Israel as a good neighbor, all those countries will benefit immensely,
and just maybe they will then realize that those Arab nations that come to that
conclusion, and will turn against Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas and the PLO, and
bring to an end the constant conflict that flies in the face of great
accomplishments that benefit mankind. We can only hope that is in the wind.

Yea… I know all of that and none of it was my point and none of that was mentioned in your OP.

A lot of our subsidizing of Israel is because they are our biggest ally in the ME. Militarily, socially, politically, and even as far as innovations, we rely a LOT on Israel. It’s well worth the monetary investment, esp. considering we give some of our enemies a lot more.

I just think you need to recognize Israel in a more positive light. But… that’s just me (and most other Southerners).

We don’t rely a lot on Israel at all. Quite the contrary – Israel uses the US as a form of Janissaries redux in M/E adventurism.

I am neither for nor against Israel. To me it is just another foreign country. But I’ll call them out if the occasion warrants.

Gosh you did not even bother to leave your KKK hood at home. That 2 billion is mostly military aid and the Information and intelligence we receive from Israel is worth ten times that much not to mention the military gear we send them mostly aircraft and the patriot missile’s we send are greatly improved by the Israeli’s. We would be better off taking the billions we send to Central America and send that to Israel also.

This is exactly why the jewish people and isreal are disliked, in the same way succesfull business men and woman in flash cars are sneered and criticised.
Look at any one who has made it big because of hard work, dedication and drive at the cost of their own fredom and people will judge and hate. Politics of envy.
People flood to the UK not because they like our way of life but they want all the nice trappings we have. And instaed of working hard they just want to steal it.
In this process they kill the golden goose instead of looking after it so it produces more golden eggs but the problem lies in envy and low IQ.
Success is a lonely furrow, ploughed only by the most determined. Clem Jackson 2000.

Notice that the Israeli landing on the moon will be on the bright side exposed to the sun. The alleged China landing on the dark side did not occur. The only possible way pictures of the dark side could have been taken, is with an infrared camera, which was not done. They were clearly made with visible light. Once it lands the Israeli vehicle will only last a few days due to exposure to the sun’s radiation, which will play havoc with the instrumentation. The information provided makes it certain that they actually are orbiting and will land on the moon.
