Pennsylvania House Dems Condemn Christian Prayer as “Bigoted,” Applaud Qur’an Reading

69

It all started when a Pennsylvania State Representative, Stephanie Borowicz, prayed this to open a legislative session: “Jesus, you are our only hope. At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus, that you are Lord.” Outrage ensued among Pennsylvania Democrats, culminating in a Qur’an reading in the State House by a Muslim State Representative, Jason Dawkins. Democrats applauded that. It shows where they are now.

Another Muslim Pennsylvania State Representative, Movita Johnson-Harrell, began the orgy of indignation, rage, and virtue-signaling over Borowicz’s prayer by declaring that the Christian prayer was “highly offensive to me, my guests, and other members of the House.” She added that the prayer “blatantly represented the Islamophobia that exists among some leaders — leaders that are supposed to represent the people. I came to the Capitol to help build bipartisanship and collaborations regardless of race or religion to enhance the quality of life for everyone in the Commonwealth.”

Johnson-Harrell may have been right about one thing. Rep. Borowicz’s prayer may have been inappropriate in a setting in which not everyone present was Christian. We have, however, seen many imams say prayers at various legislative bodies that are not non-sectarian, but manifestly Islamic and even condemning of Jews and Christians, while the non-Muslim lawmakers stand with oblivious heads bowed.

Story continues below advertisement

But was Borowicz’s prayer really “Islamophobic”? This illustrates how absurd charges of “Islamophobia” are, and how any manifestation of faith other than Islam is sometimes seen as offensive to Muslims. A few years ago, when jihadis attacked AFDI’s Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas, some Christians castigated Pamela Geller and me for co-sponsoring and speaking at the event. They said that we were being needlessly provocative, poking Muslims in the eye, goading them, etc.

These charitable and enlightened Christians said that Christians should instead be deferential to others’ religious sensibilities. At the time, I responded to these people by explaining that giving in to violent intimidation (our event was a response to the jihad murder of the Charlie Hebdo Muhammad cartoonists in Paris) would only encourage more violent intimidation, and that given the fact that Muslims frequently found even basic expressions of Christian faith to be “provocative,” they were effectively cutting the ground out from under themselves and their children, making it impossible for them to practice Christianity in the future.

Movita Johnson-Harrell has now provided more proof that this was correct. By calling Borowicz’s prayer “Islamophobic,” she is in effect saying that the public expression of the Christian Faith mocks Islam and despises Islamic teachings.

The lesson is clear. If the advice of the cosseted, suburban Western Christians who were excoriating us for the Garland event is to be heeded, Christians should make no public expression of their faith at all, and convert to Islam, so as to avoid mocking, provoking, and offending Muslims, and poking them in the eye.

And when it comes to it, that is most likely the exact thing that those Christians will do. It’s already beginning: Pennsylvania House Minority Whip Jordan Harris, a Democrat (of course), stated: “Let me be clear. I am a Christian. I spend my Sunday mornings in church worshiping and being thankful for all that I have. But in no way does that mean I would flaunt my religion at those who worship differently than I do. There is no room in our Capitol building for actions such as this, and it’s incredibly disappointing that today’s opening prayer was so divisive.”

So Harris says that Christians must not flaunt their religion. Not coincidentally, that is exactly what Islamic law says about Christians: that they should carry on their worship quietly, behind closed doors, and never make public display of it. Oh, and by the way, speaking of flaunting one’s religion, Movita Johnson-Harrell wears a hijab. Harris is not on record objecting to that kind of flaunting one’s religion.

The Christian Harris who deplores Rep. Borowicz’s prayer should calm Movita Johnson-Harrell’s rage by converting to Islam and thus removing the source of her feelings of offense. Watch for it.

Meanwhile, according to Fox News, “State Rep. Jason Dawkins, another Muslim lawmaker, opened the session Tuesday by reading from the Quran, prompting applause in the chamber.” The favored religion on the Left is one that has moved some of its adherents to wage war against the West for 1,400 years, as The History of Jihad illustrates in detail. Is it just coincidence that the Left seems to oppose every counterterror and national security measure, and always to denigrate Judeo-Christian tradition while exalting Islam? Would it be “Islamophobic” to notice a pattern here?

Praying in Jesus name is anything but Islamophobic. This is what America was built on, it is truth, GOD`S TRUTH and it will never change! Islam is America`s enemy and they created the word Islamophobic to get their EVIL way. They are animals, killers, haters etc. and do not belong in America and especially in our Government.
The Democrats are using them to take America down and to stupid to see that if they got in what would happen. Those who helped them take over would be the first these savages would murder. V. Jarrett said ,”We will use their own laws against them”.

Islamophobia is a bull sheet term used to shut down all anti-islam speech. More we dignify that term instead of making a mockery of it , more they’ll use it

sue them out of existence everytime they support criminals/illegals who go on to commit crimes……….or they will continue their fascist intimidation to take down Trump , shut down conservative free speech and promote islam

This is how patriots fightback and win http://tinyurl.com/y8yzso88

But most conservatives prefer someone else fight their battle , while they prefer to be internet “warriers”. That is why the Left/Jihadis win.

They are united and will use all fair and foul means to destroy American law for their benefit/power grab

A distinctly christian prayer was very inappropriate in a gathering of different faiths. If a prayer had to be given it should have been non denominational or should have been a moment of silence where you could pray to whomever you want to.

There again, any professing Christian who is asked to lead a prayer should not be ashamed to pray in Jesus’ name. While I respect others who represent other “religions”, I don’t give a rip if others are offended; that’s their problem.

Furthermore, according to Ephesians 4:4, there are not several faiths, but there is only one faith. Belief in other gods will not get a person into heaven.

In an annual Christmas dinner in my last full-time employment, was asked to lead a prayer before the meal. So, my boss and I went to the executive director’s office and asked permission to pray in Jesus’ name. Fortunately, I was given permission. Had she denied the permission, I would have declined to lead the prayer.

The ease of defeating or containing a sick set of ideas, such that comprise Islam, would be a “walk in the park on a sunny day” easy, were it not for the enablers. The former idiot of 8 years was one of them and so were most, if not all, of his staff.

Their combined infiltration is staggering – just look at the response to Trump’s attempt to limit travel from “hot zone” countries, how they have inserted their indoctrination into our learning institutes, how all the evidence of their ill-intent is basically ignored and all dissent is denigrated – and now koran readings/prayers are cheered while Christian prayers are ALLOWED to be subjugated.
Do we deserve to have our asses handed to us when we let foreigners kick our roots and cheer while they do it. People who hate themselves ought to expect others (especially declared enemies)to follow suit.

Here lies America – once the greatest nation there ever was – killed by the growing stupidity of her own children.

Precisely Wesley! Or should I say, “Amen”?

I am an attorney at law. As I write this I am sitting in Court, watching illegals scam We-The-People: Pretending they can’t speak English , etc. On other days we have muslims actually urge upon the Court the usage of sharia law, instead of American law-just for their case of course…

As you’ve so eloquently said already: Our foundation is Judeo-Christian. Now that that is challenged so openly, under our great President Donaldus Magnus we must pass explicit law so stating. If we do not , we will continue to be ground underfoot by the pagan muslims and their shameful American enablers ( Dems and Rino’s).

As we say everyday in Federal Court: “God Save The United States Of America!”.

I repeat here my belief that Islam is promoting “the Nazism of
America.” The evidence of this dangerous (claimed religion) is becoming more
and more obvious in our American society. This political belief system stands
for domination, subjugation, the treatment of women as chattel, the refusal to
grant due process and equal protection, and the “intimidation” of all non-Muslims,
as so definitively stated in this article. We are seeing and hearing about more
violence, and I suspect that conduct began early in Hitler’s Germany, and
ultimately resulted in the death of millions. We are facing the same
developments now in this country, and it should dramatically scare all of us “others”.
Unless and until our legal system begins prosecuting those who use their claim
of free speech to actively and actually promote violence to us others, we are
facing a very serious problem. The author used the word “intimidation” in his
article. I firmly believe that this same word justifies the prosecution of
those speakers who use their so-called right of free speech to speak hate
towards any of us others, and that becomes criminal conduct like “extortion.”
We need to get serious about the dangers facing this country from obscene foreign
concepts that are tending to corrupt our American society.

Did you see “Creepy Joe’s” recent speech where he talks about the phrase “rule of thumb”, he castigates “whites” for passing a law hundreds of years ago in the UK (and also abandoned a long time ago as civilization grew), that permitted men to beat their wives with rods no thicker than a thumb. He claimed this is what “whites” do when they have the power (no mention of Islam’s treatment of women today).

Destroy your heritage (Judeo/Christian) – nothing to fight for or defend.
Target the “white European” (Christian) stock as bad and responsible for all manner of evil – diversity is the cure.

Feel bad, feel angry..feel nothing or even feel joy – how one feels is irrelevant ; what is coming… is coming no matter what. If we both hear that big waves are approaching and you want to sandbag the beach, yet I know it’s a tsunami heading our way.. do I let you go do what you think is the right thing to do – do I even join you in your efforts, or do I tell everyone who will listen, “get to higher ground”.
Well guess what – His judgement is coming and it can’t be stopped (not that you could, would you even want to). The ugliness is going to worsen (certainly nothing to cheer about that), but that it’s a symptom of the spreading evil associated with end time events and prophecy.
From every perspective, theologically ( the prophecies) and secularly (culture, social, spiritual and economic), we are heading to a fast approaching end. World events are aligning with Biblical prophecy like never before – the stage is set for final events that will bring in the new order followed by the Antichrist. It’s almost hard to believe, yet the evidence is clear and just as clearly, so is the need to be right with God through Christ.
I honestly don’t know if in the end, there will be much we can actually fight against, and while I would caution for wisdom in the use of extreme measures, I would certainly advocate to look for whatever political avenues you can use to hopefully lesson the impact for your community. For those who are His, there is joy coming, gird yourself with faith and endure till His call comes.

There is no greater threat to our country than Islam, As Muslims increase in population, they demand more and more, until they win every demand. Those who do not see what is happening, will understand when a Muslim executioner is standing behind them. Then it is way to late.
