Mike Pompeo attacks Ilhan Omar over ‘abhorrent’ comments

“To see this from a member of Congress like Congresswoman Omar is — I talked about this being dark,” Pompeo told the Christian Broadcasting Network during an interview from Jerusalem. “The rise of anti-Semitism in the United States and in Europe and in, frankly, all across the world is something that is deeply troubling, and to see someone, a duly elected congressman, behave in that way, to speak about anti-Semitism in that way, is of great concern.”
Story continues below advertisementOmar denied charges of anti-Semitism throughout the controversy that unfolded in early March, without backing down from the suggestion that some members of Congress are loyal to Israel at the expense of the United States.
“I should not be expected to have allegiance/pledge support to a foreign country in order to serve my country in Congress or serve on committee,” she tweeted in response to Engel’s rebuke. “I am told everyday that I am anti-American if I am not pro-Israel. I find that to be problematic and I am not alone. I just happen to be willing to speak up on it and open myself to attacks.”
Pompeo’s criticism picks at a Democratic wound that has had little time to heal, as he meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just days before the Israeli leader travels to the United States for the annual AIPAC conference and meetings with President Trump. The debate over whether to condemn anti-Semitism in a clear rebuke of Omar or pass a broader resolution divided Democrats for days.
“I feel let down by some colleagues who seem to have questioned those of us who feel the weight of history when we hear classic anti-Semitic language, history that has led to targeting Jews, expelling Jews from their countries, violence against Jews, and attempts to exterminate the Jewish people,” Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., said after the vote. “Anti-Semitism is worthy of being condemned, singularly. I hope this painful week is never repeated in this Congress.”

Folks you have to stand up, have a pair. It is appalling to me that so few, are stepping up to the plate We in our sense of all is well, have allowed the camel to stick his head under the tent.. The Muslim mission is to rule, dominate, and yes kill the Jews and infidels. Wake up, your head is on the block your children’s head is on the block, your children’s children’s head is on the block.

Since 9/11 over seventeen years ago, we’ve gone through a black left wing pro Islam POTUS for eight years, lost free speech to sharia blasphemy laws in western Europe and Canada, seen more than seven hundred people murdered by muslim terrorists there with more than one thousand one hundred injured, suffered more than four million gimmigrants to sponge off of our tax, spoil our schools and rape our children.
In the case of the citadel of freedom, there can now be seen an unassimilated sprinkling of unpleasant anti Israel muslims in congress with lots more always in news studios holding forth to an eager to hear them bunch of the most left wing ignorant students seen since the days of the Vietnam war and Berkley. The most surprising thing has been the rise and rise in vicious anti Semitism all over America and on the coat tails of muslim immigration into all our countries.
In addition to all this, sites like this one have been stripped of their cash support, YT vids have been scrubbed by the millions so conservative voices are silenced, people who know what the issues are are shunned from interviews or ignored totally while others are being chased through the courts for speaking the truth.
I’m not sure I’m looking at victory for us or even much progress in our defence of our core values and prospects, if this is a victory, I’d hate to see defeat.

Trump is doing what he can do…he is a temporary reprieve. He doesn’t even have the support of his own party. We aren’t making enough progress. This household will continue to support him and talk him up.
Personally speaking I am grateful for what he does get done but more needs to be done…
My state, NJ, is formally becoming a sanctuary state. They already went with popular vote over electoral vote. I had no say in it. They don’t care what voters want when they get a majority. They do whatever they want.

Both Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib in congress need a stern rebuke of their anti-semitism, not the watered down version that the Democrat Party gave. Also many mosques in the United States are preaching hatred of Jewish People. These mosques must be investigated and this problem confronted. We are in a situation in this world that is similar to the nineteen thirties in Nazi Germany. If this anti-semitism is allowed to continue it could lead to the persecution and deaths of many Jewish people.

You can see that as anti-Semitism. Half the country doesn’t, because it was merely questioning whether or not one is acting on behalf of the USA or another country. As for mosque investigation…the First Amendment blocks such an investigation unless you also have a credible threat of violence.
If this anti-semitism is allowed to continue it could lead to the persecution and deaths of many Jewish people.
Nuts! The odds of that happening in the USA are between nil and none.

Someone needs to ask Pompeo and Trump why they both signed off on allowing up to 22,000 mostly Muslim refugees to come to the USA this Fiscal Year. Did the same last year! Trump was supposed to end this. It is done under the Refugee Immigration Act of 1980.
Here is the website of the Refugee Processing Center. It’s run by the Bureau of Population Refugees and Immigration. That is a division of the US State Department of which Pompeo is the Secretary.

It’s a CAP. The cap is not a requirement. I forget what the number was the year before but it was lower than the cap and mostly Christians. Trump needs legislation to end it. DEMS won’t do that. Even when the GOP had the majority in Congress they wouldn’t do it. There is not much either one can do about it but slow walk it and vet them. Ideally take in Christians or Jews and try not to take in Muslims. I don’t want any Muslims here either. Ship ones here back to their shiiitholes is my view.

Her comment that people in Congress should not be more loyal to Israel than the U.S.is baseless. However, her primary support of the people calling themselves Palestinians over and above the U.S. and its people only reflects her own hypocrisy. Allowing Muslims in our government will only damage our Constitutional Republic. They are showing their true stripes!
