Antisemite Bernie Sanders Rehires Staffer Who Defended Ilhan Omar’s Jew-Hatred

Reminder: Bernie Sanders wrote weird porn in the 70s, featuring rape and pedophilia.
Here’s a jumble of a few different sources (I wrote nothing that is below):

In a 1972 writing that he has called a piece of fiction, Bernie described sick sexual fantasies of men and women.

“A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy,” he wrote. “A woman on her knees. A woman tied up. A woman abused. A woman enjoys intercourse with her man — as she fantasizes being raped by three men simultaneously.”

He also confessed a fascination with articles about sexual assaults on kids.

Sanders: “Do you know why [porn magazines] with the articles like ‘Girl 12 raped by 14 men’ sell so well?” he asked. “To what in us are they appealing?”

And as an outspoken Vermont congressman, he opposed 2003 measures that cracked down on pedophiles who travel overseas to prey on kids, and voted against outlawing some Internet child porn.

In one essay from 1969, Sanders is convinced that cancer is caused by,
“the link between emotional and sexual health.” He writes:

It means, very bluntly, that the manner in which you bring up your daughter with regard to sexual attitudes may very well determine whether or not she will develop breast cancer, among other things.

He was apparently serious about that:

Sanders: “How much guilt, nervousness have you imbued in your daughter with regard to sex? If she is 16, 3 years beyond puberty and the time which nature set forth for childbearing, and spent a night out with her boyfriend, what is your reaction? Do you take her to a psychiatrist because she is “maladjusted,” or a “prostitute,” or are you happy that she has found someone with whom she can share love? Are you concerned about HER happiness, or about your “reputation” in the community.”

In other words, he was telling the parents of America to let their underage daughters have wild uninhibited sex or they would get breast cancer. This seems like the right guy to run our country and the health care system.

He goes on to say:

Sanders: “In Vermont, at a state beach, a mother is reprimanded by Authority for allowing her 6 month old daughter to go about without her diapers on. Now, if children go around naked, they are liable to see each others sexual organs, and maybe even touch them. Terrible thing! If we [raise] children up like this it will probably ruin the whole pornography business, not to mention the large segment of the general economy which makes its money by playing on peoples sexual frustrations.”

That’s an even more preposterous theory than the slutty daughter equals cancer-free daughter one. Sanders is actually saying that if we allow little children to explore each other sexually they won’t grow up to be frustrated perverted porn watchers.

Mother Jones reached out to Sanders’ campaign about these dangerous views and were told:

“These articles were written more than 40 years ago. Like most people, Bernie’s views on many issues have changed over time,” wrote Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs in an email.

Sanders himself was spinning the piece as fast as he can. “It was very poorly written and if you read it, what it was dealing with was gender stereotypes, why some men like to oppress women, why other women like to be submissive, you know, something like ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” this past Sunday, referring to the sadomasochistic novel and movie.

I call BS. Sanders wrote this stuff when he was in his late 20’s. That’s old enough to know better and certainly old enough to have formed his worldview and core beliefs.

The biggest crime here is not that Sanders wrote in support of underage sex, but that he gets a free pass from the media for having done it. If a Republican had written something similar to this, the media would skewer that candidate. Hell, the New York Times slammed Marco Rubio for getting 4 traffic tickets in 18 years. Imagine if Jeb Bush wrote something about letting toddlers engage in sexual exploration.
