Left-wing billionaire George Soros, in a rare op-ed, has fired a warning shot to what he describes as the “sleeping pro-European majority” ahead of the European Parliament elections in May — saying Europe needs to “wake up before it is too late” and before nationalist parties take control.
“Europe is sleepwalking into oblivion, and the people of Europe need to wake up before it is too late,” the Hungarian-American financier, known for his promotion of left-wing policies, he wrote for Project Syndicate.
Soros is something of a bogeyman in right-wing circles due to his funding of left-wing causes both in Europe and the U.S. Hungary’s nationalist government recently passed a “Stop Soros” package to curtail his activities via his Open Society Foundations — including a measure making it illegal for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to organize illegal immigration into the country.
Last year, British media reported that Soros had delivered $560,000 to an anti-Brexit campaign, leading to accusations from Brexiteers that he was part of an international plot to stop Brexit and bring down the government.
But with nationalist and right-wing parties on the rise in Europe, Soros is setting off alarm bells of his own. In his op-ed, he claims that “anti-European forces” will have a competitive advantage in May, when lawmakers to the European Parliament will be elected. He blames the “outdated party system” and “the lack of legal tools for disciplining member states that violate the principles on which the European Union was founded.”
“The antiquated party system hampers those who want to preserve the values on which the EU was founded, but helps those who want to replace those values with something radically different” he writes. “This is true in individual countries and even more so in trans-European alliances.

Soros misnames the demise of the EU with the demise of Europe. Europe is dissappering before our eyes as muslim immigration goes unfettered, as bigotry against native Europeans and euorpean culture goes unfettered and even unnamed by the bigots of the left and the bigots of the muslim immigrant populations who en masse demand that their sharia be implemented and followed by all, including non muslims and their ‘nations’. This is what Soros wants- the globalist erasure of judeochristian europe, which he has no respect for, and the implementation of a socialist hegemony under the leadership of the Eu that wants to erase the nations sovereignty the nations cultures and the nations autonomy. I agree Mark, and of course Soros is not alone – his more “behind the scenes”, ultra-wealthy, like minded friends (who are as evil as he if not more so) have thrown a lot of money and time into that “new order”, and can see the fruition of those plans now within their reach. They are also for the first, real time, facing a rapidly rising opposition in the form of protests and growing anti-globalism politicals.
If he laments that the EU lacks enough teeth to quell this “dissension”, it concerns me how they will respond. I have no doubt whatsoever that they already have a contingency plan set to go if it looked increasingly like defeat was becoming too much of a possibility. They will not let this opportunity slip through their claws, and chaos has been their best friend in times of need. You know what they say about cornered animals….

Hello Silver.
I’ve heard of the SPLC and know that they’re complete scum but am shocked to hear that they officially advise the FBI. Who’s bright idea was that? Good to hear that your active and doing something about our problem. I’m part of a tightly knit band of brothers here and we are known to be the best patriot firm in London and are quite busy though we do keep it all quiet.
We have to be secretive here or we find ourselves very quickly in jail so I’ll say no more on this open forum..
There’s stuff going on on many levels in England this last few years and it’s intensified with the way the T May government have been trying to dilute our fairly won Brexit. Most of the government are pro globalist scum that are more interested in feathering their own nests via the EU moneypot.
But that little battle is usually fought by the UK yellow vests that are mainly peaceful and protest by blocking roads and storming into lefty leaning establishments such as radio stations newspaper offices etc and causing mayhem.
We on the other hand deal with the violent muzrat groups and antifa in their various other aliases. There’s always something happening and some big stuff coming up such as Tommy Robinson’s big demo in Manchester next Saturday.
It’s all now turning into what it is which is a fight for life and I know things will get worse before they get better.

Hello silver.
I see all lefty’s as toxic and they all want nothing less than the end of our society and to end the nation state to the point of them allying themselves to the muzrats that would happily put us all to the sword including the left.
The hard left are much more organised than we are though and don’t suffer from the same interfactional infighting and bickering as we do here in England. I believe in unity and recognise that we are all pulling in the same direction so petty infighting pisses me off no end.
