These are the “moderates.” Morocco, like Malaysia and Indonesia, is widely touted as a “moderate” Muslim country, where none of the “extremism” that reigns elsewhere can be found. And yet they have banned Israeli athletes from a Paralympics swimming qualifier, and Malaysia’s Prime Minister, as you can see in this story, is open about his Jew-hatred. When have we ever seen a Muslim country act in a normal way toward Israel? Ever? Muslims, “extremist” or “moderate,” march in lockstep on that issue (and so many others). Why? Malaysia is half a world away from Israel. The idea that it has some grievance against it is absurd, except for one thing: Islam. Islamic Jew-hatred: it’s in the Qur’an.

The world “obeys” Israel, but Malaysia does not, Malaysian Prime Minister Mathair [sic] Mohammed – who has a history of antisemitic statements – said on Monday regarding the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) decision to strip his country of the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships because of his decision to bar Israeli athletes.
Story continues below advertisement“They want to cancel it, then cancel it,” Mahathir said. “I do not understand why the world must follow Israel. The world has the power, but they choose to obey Israel. We do not obey.”
If Malaysia cannot organize this sporting event, he told reporters in Putrajaya in comments carried widely in the Malaysia press, “we can organize other ones.”
The IPC announced its decision on Sunday.
When Mathair [sic], who became prime minister last May for the second time, was reminded that Malaysia allowed the Israeli cricket team to play in a Malaysian tournament in 1997 during his first term in office from 1981 to 2003, he replied: “Yes, I did. I also allowed Israeli schoolchildren to come here. We wanted to show them that Muslims are not terrorists. That we are normal people and we behave well.
“But what do they [Israelis] do? When children throw stones at them, they shoot them,” he said.
Mahathir said that Malaysia has the right “to voice our own feelings and to have our own policies.”
The IPC, however, has a different take, saying that Malaysia’s ban on the Israeli swimmers constituted an illegitimate mixing of politics and sport.
Andrew Parsons, the IPC president, said on Sunday: “All world championships must be open to all eligible athletes and nations to compete safely and free from discrimination. When a host country excludes athletes from a particular nation, for political reasons, then we have absolutely no alternative but to look for a new championships host.”
Mahathir, in his comments, slammed Israel as a “criminal nation.”
“It has been breaking international laws without people saying anything about it,” he said….

They are located on the most important sea lanes, the busiest, in the whole world. Hence, they are important. They are also one of the largest trading nations economically in the world; I believe they are ranked 15th, far out of proportion to their size and population. They are an Asian Tiger nation with a booming economy and population. I once stood on the top of the hill of Pulau Pangkor and watched the sea traffic; heading south at 1 mile intervals, an endless convoy of super tankers; heading north at interval, another convoy of cargo ships in the east bound lane. This was in the Malacca Strait. In the background were the green hills of Sumatra. I saw the harbor in Sabah, North Borneo, Sandakan. Big harbor, packed with ships, must have been a 100 of them, some waiting to weigh anchor and heavily laden, others waiting to load lumber. Lots of huge log rafts floating on the water. It looked liked the invasion fleet for D-Day. Never seen anything like it. Most of the lumber was headed to China, some for Chile to be made into furniture. The EU and the USA prohibit Malaysian lumber imports. Sanctions for cutting jungle hardwood down. The biggest saw mill I’ve ever seen by far I saw in Pahang, Malaysia, Also, the biggest factory I have ever seen was in Shah Alam, Malaysia, outside Kuala Lumpur. The huge sign across the top of the factory said “Catapillar.” Not an important country yo say. Get informed. Get out of your backyard and see the world.

RE: malaysia’s GDP rank. You’re just making things up and your anecdotal observations don’t jive with the facts. According to the International Monetary Fund, The World Bank, and the United Nations, Malaysia ($320 billion) has a roughly 10% smaller GDP than Israel ($350 billion) but they have over three times the population of Israel!! Israeli productivity per capita blows away Malaysia. Of course that didn’t stop you from lecturing us from your ivory tower. Let me guess, you’re a tenured college professor?

Nah!! It all okay as he isn’t a white Christian male, but a brown muslim male and hence is exempt from any criticism of his hatred. I mean 99.999% of muslims and probably 80% of leftists feel the same way. Talk about stupid statements- no nation on earth receives as much condemnation as Isael.. Is Mahathir for real?- in which case he simply is too stupid to lead a nation. But hey, there is a certain squad on this site is always open to new recruits!

She promises that SOME day, she’ll get around to having “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” read to her … and, of course explained in words of two syllables or less … in order for her to some day … just maybe … someday, understand it. Best way to beat jew-hating rodents like this is to vote with your wallet. Stop purchasing goods (ie: clothing) made in Malaysia. I’m pretty certain that Israeli technology and inventions are far more essential to modern life than anything coming out of Islamic jew-hating Malaysia

The Malaysian Prime Minister is consumed by irrational jew hatred or maybe it’s just good old fashioned envy. The facts are very revealing. Malaysia has roughly the same GDP as Israel but triple the population!!!. In other words, one Israeli produces as much as three Malaysians. Apparently, praying five times a day is impacting productivity. More facts. Israel is predominately Jewish and Malaysia is majority muslim. Perhaps if Malaysians worked harder and smarter, they wouldn’t be so pre-occupied with hating Israel and Jews. Just a theory, of course.
