Good for you for doing that course. I have a Krav Maga course and numbers of others that I go over from time to time. Must have spent 3 hours on this stuff just yesterday – going over whacking the groin, punching in the throat – it takes about 5 lbs to break the trachea bone – then breaking fingers through the ‘finger splitting’ method and how to break a wrist when someone grabs you. With slightly cupped hands slapping an assailant over the ear to disorientated is a useful tool. My other approach is with the assailant reduced to a disadvantage, with both hands slightly cupped simultaneously slap him over both ears to cause deafness. My son is not keen on me practicing with him!!! Thinks I might get carried away and break a bone or two. My attitude is one of just wanting to do my best if confronted. As you probably know, attitude is all important. 16 years of rugby and having to do military service helped in this regard.

Just one point, when going for an assailant’s eyes, in the heat of the confrontation with adrenaline pumping, two fingers to the eyes asks for some composer and accuracy, so, as one instructor advised, rather jab with your four fingers – with your thumb tucked underneath. Wherever you hit the guy is going to flinch, so then quickly chop a clavicle and break it, or kick to the shin or the testicles, or stamp on his foot to break the bones.

LOL, good stuff and good advice about the bollocks route. I’ll remember that. That finger breaking exercise is also quite good, As a guy lunges for you, you quickly slide your hand between his fingers, half-way, grab the fingers and violently bend then backwards, breaking them if he resists.

In the SA army I trained on the UZI. Even used the Sten and Bren, and far later weapons. The Sten was manufactured during WW2 and really a bit of junk that too often jammed. The Uzi was a lovely, refined weapon.

Hey, Dave, are you in Manchester? When in my early twenties I lived in Sale, Cheshire, as I recall off School Road. Lived there for about 9 months with a SA friend in an old house that had been divided up. Then for a number of months I lived in Withington, near, I think it was, Christie Hospital, as I recall a cancer hospital. I had a job as a ward orderly in Manchester Royal Infirmary – you know, to feed myself. Through that got a job for a few weeks on the old Queen Mary that is now tied up in Long beach, California. It sailed out of Southampton to Cherbourg and then New York. Then worked in Old Trafford near the Manchester United ground, Worked for AEI. Don’t know if it is still around. A very interesting time and think that along with SA girls round that time English girls were just really very nice. Had such a nice give and take attitude – so unlike the selfish baskets I’ve too often seen in N. America. I actually married an English lady from Beckenham, Kent, but in November, 1993 she died in a tragedy in Canada, a total disgrace. Anyway, her family lives in Tunbridge Wells and we remain in touch – and I visited last year.

I never recall having problems with the Uzi, but as I recall we used them in short bursts. In a video recently, I saw a SA Parabat (paratrooper) interviewed during the war in Angola. Boy, I wish there were more in Europe (and fast asleep, complacent, self-satisfied, Canada), like Orban. These migrants peoples are mostly utterly useless at running their countries, constantly one group fighting and killing another, so what have these mostly skills-devoid people got in common with Europeans? Nothing! They are not even civilized. For 10 years in South Africa, 1977 to 1987 through newspapers, I spoke out against apartheid and for that lived under the threatening scrutiny of the Bureau for State Security, but after about 9 years something happened that must have made them realize I was a patriot who just didn’t approve of apartheid because I believe in justice and fairness and that if people were prepared to study hard and work hard there should not be limitations on how far they can go and achieve, but I never wanted black rule because nowhere in Africa had I seen it successful for long. What I see happening in Europe is insane. The Scandinavian leaders are insane or deliberately destroying their societies. I am so infuriated by news of girls and women murdered by these bit of vermin that if it happened to my granddaughter, Katie, just 10, who lives in my permanent custody, I would plot and plan to kill whoever it was who had raped or done worse to her. I cannot understand why men in the UK and Europe don’t take retribution. These Moslem bastards should be found dead with their testicles in their mouth – and their mouth then closed with a 5lb hammer! Surely SAS, ex-SAS and Marines in particular could do much damage with their skills! My one daughter who with husband and 4 kids in Hertfordshire has told me that she and her husband have gone through London suburb after suburb and seen that they are taken over, their playgrounds filled with ‘other people’. My son-in-law works in Canary Wharf for a investment bank and they were thinking over moving closer so he didn’t have a long drive or ride to work, but they found that they would not find it easy to replace what they now have – which is super, right on the outer outskirts of London with farmlands right over the road. Yes, I too think that Islam and the Qur’an should be banned. Just keep on fighting – to make Britain Great Again! Yes, to some extent I joke, but not entirely. I just wish that someone good would replace next to useless Theresa May. She was a terrible Homeland Secretary so just continued her rubbish. Oh yes, I too think that the reason some are trying avoid or prevent the U.K. going through with Brexit is that it would begin an E.U. disintegration.

Yes, it’s a real problem getting to the guilty rapists and as you said, if we knock them off randomly then we are no better they. My impression, however, is that some of the guilty have not been arrested. Over here the scum media vilify Wilders, Batten and Le Pen and make nothing of Moslem savagery or condemn those who make outrageous Islamic statements or threats. Toronto imams have made outrageous statement about Jews and infidels, yet are not charged – not one – yet when someone else does something that offends Muslims they have been brought before one of Canada’s kangaroo courts – that are called ‘Human Rights Commissions’ and ‘Human Rights Tribunals’. Its a strange phenomenon, but when I now hear of some organization prefixed by ‘human rights’, immediately my suspicion is aroused because I know it will not be much concerned with true human rights. It’s like the name, ‘Planned Parenthood’, but if you are killing the children what is there to ‘parent’?
