A former alleged ISIS supporter who stabbed his neighbour with a hunting knife near his Sydney home has pleaded not guilty on the grounds of mental illness.

Ihsas Khan, 24, appeared in the NSW Supreme Court on Tuesday, where he was charged with engaging in a terrorist act and wounding with intent to murder.
The charges relate to the stabbing attack of Khan’s neighbour Wayne Greenhalgh, 57, in the southwestern Sydney suburb of Minto on September 10, 2016.

Mr Greenhalgh was on his way home when Khan, then 22, allegedly came out of his house and chased the victim with a hunting knife, stabbing him in the doorway of a hair salon, news.com.au reported.
ADVERTISINGCrown prosecutor Caroline Davenport SC said during her opening address the alleged victim was walking near his house when Khan attacked him with a knife.
When police arrived the former alleged self-radicalised Muslim was heard to say ‘Allahu Akbar’ and ‘I want to die today’, the court heard.

Justice Geoffrey Bellew said on Tuesday he didn’t anticipate there would be any debate that Mr Greenhalgh was stabbed with a knife on the date in question.But when the 24-year-old fronted the court on Tuesday, the jury heard he has pleaded not guilty to both charges on the grounds of mental illness.

On September 10, 2016, a moslem stabs and attempts to murder a human being, while squealing allehhoocackbar. Today’s date is January 29, 2019. I see that they have a deep seated belief in the “Right to a Speedy Trial”, in the land of botany bay rejects.
As long as the muslum vermin was rotting in jail who cares? I’m more concerned that any and all f’ing muslums who murder someone in the cause of jihad will be using the not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect defense.
It’s rather confusing. The moslem was refused bail, in September of 2016. However, it looks as if it (bail) was granted November 24, 2016. Not certain on that, but that’s how it appears. Moreover, no wonder that thing appears so stupid … it’s a moslem banger from bangerdouche. One of the few breeds, of moslems, that make a packyswine moslem seem “intelligent”.
The problem being..whilst enjoying a stay at Jihad central..he will be teaching all the other Mo’s how to be mentally ill..not that there is much training required..as most have a head start.
They use it because it works. The laws in the West are flaccid (soft, loose, flabby, unfirm, yielding, slack, lax, out of tone etc.) and until we grow a set and put into operation laws that carry appropriate penalties that are also actually imposed on the criminals, expect more of the same.
Thanks to the noxious Left and its destruction of western law. They have run the law and law societies in the west since the 1970s and now we reap the whirlwind of “mental illness” and other rubbish reasons to not lock up forever criminals of any kindm muslims or not. The FIRST thing muslims do in the west is take over the only real physical opposition, the bikie gangs and their drug trade. After that they are free to standover everyone.

I always like to know if the victims of Islam approved of them in their land? Whether by getting run over by a truck or car, getting raped, stabbed, acid thrown on them, gunshots or missing some sheep.
If they are declared insane they should be terminated, locked up, or live next to door to a Demoncrap.

There seems to be a “disproportionate” amount of mental illness among Muslims. Is that reason enough to keep them out of a country on “public health” grounds?
Certainly, their so-called “Prophet” suffered from advanced delusions and schizophrenia and this has affected his followers for the last 1400 years. It is interesting to note that his attorneys equate yelling “Allahu Akbar” and attacking with a knife with mental illness. This could be a good argument to stop Islamic immigration and to restrict the movements of those already within our society. The argument being they are mentally insane and pose a great danger to others as well as themselves and require constant monitoring and supervision.

Islam is a mental illness creating ideology. A big reason it is, is because it promotes doing evil in the name of religion, which is counter to a person’s conscience. Their “religion” blackmails a person’s conscience into causing a person to go against his own innate sense of right and wrong to do evil. Evil begets evil and soon a person does evil things and is evil. What they need is to repent of Islam and become a Christian, a follower of Jesus…to start reading the Bible and get their mind straight & back in line with their conscience. If they do this they will find forgiveness and peace.
