Parents should be free to opt out of these propagandist trips without penalty. These trips are pure dawah, proselytizing for Islam. When is this rabid proselytizing for Islam in state-funded schools going to stop? There are no trips to shuls, Hindu temples or churches. There is no place for religion in public schools, let alone Islam, a comprehensive supremacist system that is religious, legal, dietary, political, social, cultural and military. It’s not like other religions.

The report, written by a body that advises on RE in schools, reveals that parents “have objected to the teaching of Islam and withdrawn children from lessons and visits to places of worship.”
It adds: “The outcome for those children, who arguably are those that most need to be taught about Islam, are no longer being taught about it.”…

No they will not! There is education law on their side. I have read it, but cannot locate at this time, after some one else informed me on it.
It allows you to withdraw your child from such religious lessons (that’s what they call them) & request they be provided with alternative educational facility!
The school has to oblige or suffer consequences, they know this, but, as usual, the extreme far leftist teachers, push the boundaries, by asserting attendance as compulsory or consequences will follow. Until they get challenged, then they skulk off into some dark damp corner!

I recall Katie Hopkins doing something on this as well, she put forward the legals regarding visiting places of worship. She showed the actual law in full. Unfortunately i cannot find it, think it was on twitter, shame i didn’t keep it. i’ll keep a look out for it. but if anyone has the patience, they can look it up on Educational law or twitter.

There is a time for people to learn about Islam. The ages of those children is the photo above waaaaaaaaaaaaay too young.
I am going to couple this with a chilling statistic I read recently: 2/3 of millenials are unaware of what happened at Auschwitz. It gets worse- those ignoramuses vote.
Instruction, even for the age of children depicted above, would be much better given to providing them with an age-appropriate description of what the Nazis and their collaborators did at Auschwitz than in listening to soothing but deceptive words from the local imam. But of course, that would never happen in governmnent schools today in the UK: it might offend Moslems.

Shouldn’t those muslims make the trips to non-muslims’s worship places so they know how to tolerate people and stop bombing places? Of course if there is any trip to learn something. Taking non-muslim students to visit mosque so they can say islam is religion of peace doesn’t improve relationship within diversity, when these muslims don’t know about peace itself. You’re talking about rubbish (in british language).

When was it heard that children from ne religion are brought to another place of worship?
You can tell people don’t know anything about religion anymore, and that they don’t respect religion.
Some religions hold fast to the Commandment that, “Thou shalt not have any gods before me.”
Did people organizing these jaunts think that perhaps they are putting people who follow their own religion closely at odds with their own God?
Why don’t they stop this thinly veiled thing they’re doing and leave religion out of the picture so that each person decides about his own religion.

I can’t speak for the U.K. but Islam is pushed in the U.S. too. That part that covers Christianity and Judaism is tiny. They rationalize that because magically kids all ready know about this and Islam is new so more time needs to be spent on that to fight Islamaphobia.

Well, personally I was extremely uncomfortable entering it in the first place, I just preferred to avoid it if possible and had no interest in going there!
When directly asked, the imam also kept saying that Muslims had nothing to do with terrorism, which I also found in poor taste (a major Islamic terror attack had happened back in the U.S. around that time, and a student from my school was among those who were hospitalized).
What was more, there was a visit to a local church in the same area, which I quite enjoyed, but no one was required to enter it as part of the trip, which I also found problematic; it felt like the mosque was given special status.

No child needs to learn about islam in a religious context, but they do need to know about it in its true historical context, which should be enough to put them off it for life!
I took my daughter out of r.e classes at school, I didn’t want her to be taught about religion by anyone but me.

I read about a bloke who’s child was at that same school and he got a note asking his permission for his kid to visit a mosque with the rest of the class’ so he asked if the moslem kids were then going to visit a church. The answer being No. so he said that this was agenda full and withdrew his permission and all the other English parents followed suit.

Hi. I’m an American living in the UK.
Parents are actually not able to opt out of Islam only because they are then placed in an islamic hibiscus radicalisation roster. They can be fined, soon imprisoned. The UK is literally an islamic dictatorship with Iran and Saudia Arabia vying for influence. The USA is almost there if Trump does not successful. And let’s be straight. He is so preoccupied with his situation that he has not been successful in countering the culture War .A war bent on shaming and wrestling control in order to transform the USA into a weak, degenerate whole nation worthy of destruction. Bashing the US President and the country is a national security risk.
