Trump facing ‘coup,’ FBI brass was in cahoots, Dowd tells Fox’s Kilmeade

Story continues below advertisementPresident Donald Trump’s former attorney John Dowd told Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade that he believes the president is facing a ‘coup’ and the recent reports regarding the president’s relationship with Russia prove that.
Appearing Monday on Fox News Radio’s “Brian Kilmeade Show,” Dowd accused special counsel Robert Mueller, former FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe of conspiring against the president.
“Little did I know that it appears that they were all in it together,” Dowd said. “I mean Rosenstein, Comey, Mueller, McCabe, the whole crowd and they were out to get this president no matter what. I don’t think they sincerely believed anything about Russia.”

“This is our worst nightmare that someone with that kind of power would then decide to go after the President. I mean it’s a coup,” Dowd said. “That’s what it is an attempted coup by Comey and his crowd. And the evidence is all over there. I take the New York Times article as an admission of their bad behavior.”
The New York Times reported Friday that the FBI opened an investigation to determine if President Trump was working for Russia.
The president refuted the report on Fox News’ “Justice With Judge Jeanine” Saturday night, although critics pointed out he did not directly say that he did not work for Russia.
“I never worked for Russia,” the president told reporters this morning at the White House calling the investigation a ‘hoax.’
“The people that started that investigation are [Andrew] McCabe who is a proven liar and was fired from the FBI,” Trump said.
He then named attorney Lisa Page and former FBI agent Peter Strzok and cited their text messages as further proof.

What’s going on is so evil. The FBI, CIA, DOJ and some police are VERY, VERY, VERY CORRUPT! They will get worse; not better. Nothing is working so they will ramp it up more. They will continue to warp it up and do ALL possible to damage Trump and stop him from winning in 2020. There is no “collusion” , no “conspiracy” and they don’t have the votes for impeachment. They need 2/3 of Congress and 2/3 of the Senate. It won’t happen. They will have disparate redundant investigations into Trump for dirt to throw at him in 2020 and smear him as much as possible with lies through “leaks”.
The same will be true of Netanyahu. The globalists are doing the same thing to him complete with a “FOREIGN GOVERNMENT INTERFERING WITH THE UPCOMING ISRAEL ELECTION.” Russia has already stepped up and said stop it. They are sick of it too. The globalists do NOT want Trump or Netanyahu to win their coming elections. I think Netanyahu will win but they will hound him to death with fake accusations after he wins to get him to step down. Netanyahu’s opposition will harass him the same way the DEMS, RINOS and GLOBALISTS are harassing Trump.

I saw Ken Starr being interviewed on Fox today. He took a very serious tone about how bad it is that the FBI would take it upon itself to investigate a duly elected President as being an agent of a foreign power. It is a most serious distortion of the FBI’s role as under the direction of the Chief Executive and to be a law enforcement agency.

Those who instigated the investigation into Pres. Trump must be investigated. This entire “affair” must lead to prosecution. It is totally wrong. I don’t like the way that the word “traitor” is bandied about today, but this investigation is traitorous and I do not doubt that it is illegal. All those advancing this investigation must not only be fired but prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Historically, the FBI has always supported and protected Democrat administrations, while the CIA has done the same for Republican ones. Seeing the pro-Arab policies Comey happily followed during the Obama administration, yes, Trump was right to fire him — and of course Comey would try to get revenge on him. I have personally seen the FBI lie about cases, invent false accusations and false evidence for political reasons. Sometime look up an old case against what the FBI called “The Viper Militia”. I would not trust the FBI for anything except its strictly mandated and managed annual Uniform Crime Reports — and I wouldn’t trust them entirely on those, either.
