What lovely people. So empathetic, tolerant and enlightened. It’s no wonder the West is importing these poets, scientists, humanitarians, artists, et al by the millions.
There were indeed Muslims who aided Jews during the Holocaust, but the vast majority were on the side of the Nazis. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, lived in Berlin during World War II and made broadcasts in Arabic for the Nazis, exhorting Muslims to support the Nazis and kill Jews. So it is no surprise that Muslims would protest this exhibit and get it shut down.
Seriously, “Show me just what (Islamic Prophet) Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.” Pope Benedict XVI quoting from a 14th-century dialogue between the Byzantine emperor, Manuel II Paleologos, and a Persian scholar.

“Golders Green mosque cancels Muslim Shoah heroes exhibit,” Jewish News, January 3, 2019:
A planned exhibition celebrating Muslim Albanians who helped, protected and rescued their Jewish neighbours during the Holocaust has been scrapped.
No reason has been given for the cancellation, but Rabbi Natan Levy, head of operations at Faith Forums for London, and one of the organisers behind the event, said: “We will continue to focus on building local relations even though this event has been cancelled. However, we are confident after reviewing plans there is goodwill to continue working with communities in Barnet.’
The venue was put under pressure by opponents of the exhibit including Roshan Salih, editor of British Muslim news site 5 Pillars, who urged a boycott.
The event was intended to be part of the mosque’s drive to open and maintain dialogue with its neighbours, in the wake of objections made to its opening, as the Centre for Islamic Understanding….

I would like to make en exhibition about enslaved Africans today.
For Muhammadists Hitler was a hero. Celebrating rescuers of Jews rejects the unjust Muhammad-law & war & is a threat to the unjust Muhammadism just like truth* about unjust Muhammad & Muhammadism is a real live threat to Muhammadism. Saudi Arabia has stakes in Twitter & censors worldwide.
Unjust Muhammad said his Messiah would return when stones & trees would lure Muhammadists to unjustly kill Jews. He also said that freeing people from the injustice of his rule (justice) is worse than killing.
Hitler viewed the unjust Muhammadism as ultimate Nazi religion that as he told his architect & minister of war Albert Speer matches the German temperament better & many Nazi criminals openly converted to the unjust Muhammadism after the war & worked for the Egyptian Muhammadist tyranny under Nasser or in Syria.
Nazi Dr. Alois Brunner for example who killed 130,000 Jews & others, openly converted to the unjust Muhammadism in Syria where he with Hafez El Assad organized Syria’s secret services on the model of the Gestapo.
Organizing the new Muhammadist United Arab Republic of Syria he lived in the embassy district of Damascus at 7 George Haddad. In 1961, when Adolf Eichmann was captured by the Israelis in Buenos Aires, Brunner received a bomb-letter, probably from the Mossad & lost an eye.
He was seen in 2001 protected by the Muhammadist regime of Bashar al-Assad.
Refering to the extermination of Jews & the implementation of the unjust Muhammad-law Brunner interviewed by German magazine Bunte in 1985 said: “I regret that I didn’t finish the job”.

The majority of Arabs and Muslims at the time, though, probably sympathized more with the Axis rather than the Allies.
And the entire article was about British Muslims apparently protesting against this exhibit.

Nevertheless, it is important not to lose site of the sentiment so aptly expressed in yiyoya’s statement about the significance of the individual (even though I’m not sure I agree with him on the notion of “free will”).
I for one find abhorrent the “goon squad’s” tendency to demonize people simply because they are Moslem, and I think their posture reflects poorly on the counter-jihad movement. It simply is not the case that all Moslems internalize the hatred that abounds in the Koran. Moreover, some people who identify as Christian or Jewish are absolute rotters. The difference is these faiths do not encourage the basest of human actions, whereas Islam does.

That is why all civilized nations should finally get together and systematically completely eliminate this pest from the planet once and for all. Millions of Muslims who by force and threads of death have to follow this crazy killer cult will be happy as well being finally free if this cult would be eliminated.

Excellent comment, yoyoya, and well put. The goon squad here determined I was an “idiot”, and worse, in large part for my distinguishing between the doctrine of Islam on the one hand, and the character of individual Moslems on the other. So I am grateful to see someone else here (who I suspect is Jewish) recognize that distinction, and to do so so eloquently. I too respect Moslems who have been raised in that tradition who manage to escape the hatred that inheres in that ideology.
Why shucks, in those horrendous years before and during WWII, there were even a few Christians, acting in the name of their faith, who aided Jews. Sadly, the vast majority of self-proclaimed Christians in Nazi occupied lands either failed to follow through on the tenants of their faith, or actively aided the forces of evil.

I actually know some wonderful Bosnian Muslim refugees from the Balkan Wars in the 1990s. A large number came to our community in the mid-90s and were aided by a Christian church that my husband attended. They were mostly from Mostar and worked hard and well to become good citizens and/or just resident aliens. They were very Westernized and, for the most part, well educated. And the mother of one woman with whom I became very friendly (the mother has subsequently died) told us that she and her family helped Jews living in that part of the former Yugoslavia and tried to hide as many as possible from the Croats who sided with the Nazis. They remembered when, in earlier times and in (Christian) wars against the Muslims (probably including the Serbian Wars just before WW One), their Jewish neighbors helped them to avoid the wrath of the avenging Christians. The Balkans have been wracked with deadly wars for centuries, so it was not unnatural for neighbors to help neighbors again warring factions that often didn’t discriminate between Jewish, Muslim & Christian civilians!

Thank you Liatris, for your kind comment. Sometimes we may not agree on some aspect or another in these political feuds, but it’s important to recognize that not everything can be seen in black and white! And where we CAN agree and work together, so much the better!
I just saw a tremendous – and really frightening! – movie yesterday (at the PS Intern’l Film Festival), Hotel Mumbai, about the horrific Pakistani Muslim attacks in Mumbai in 2008 (the movie will be out in general release across the county in March); but in addition to feeling under siege even in the safety of movie house (!!), I was also struck by the heroes and friends – from all backgrounds, Muslim Hindu and Sikh! – who came together and/or followed their better self in helping others; and the emphasis was on the humanity of all those involved. Even the cold-blooded terrorists were not altogether unsympathetic, because they were young, uneducated men who had been totally brainwashed to commit their senseless crimes to please (1) the man who was their recruiter and promised that each young gunman’s family would get a generous payout, but, of course, stayed safely behind in Pakistan; and (2) Allah! Of course, it was a chilling reminder that murderous attacks can happen anywhere and at any time!
