These are the “moderates.” Morocco, like Malaysia and Indonesia, is widely touted as a “moderate” Muslim country, where none of the “extremism” that reigns elsewhere can be found. And yet they will not allow Israel’s Paralympics swimming team enter the country. When have we ever seen a Muslim country act in a normal way toward Israel? Ever? Muslims, “extremist” or “moderate,” march in lockstep on that issue (and so many others). Why? Malaysia is half a world away from Israel. The idea that it has some grievance against it is absurd, except for one thing: Islam. Islamic Jew-hatred: it’s in the Qur’an.

Malaysia will not allow Israel’s Paralympics swimming team enter the country to participate in the World Para Swimming Championships in July, despite two months of efforts by the Israel Paralympics Committee.
Story continues below advertisementThe event, set to be held in the Malaysian city of Kuching, is a critical one since the results will affect the formulation of 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo. The city will play host to more than 600 swimmers from 70 countries. The fact that there are no diplomatic relations between the Jewish state and Muslim nation is making it hard for the Israeli team to obtain visas.
The directors of the Israel Paralympics Committee have tried to involve the Sports and Culture Ministry as well as Alex Gilady, an Israeli member of the International Olympic Committee, in an effort to obtain visas, but have yet to receive a response.
Only recently, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohammad criticized the Australian government’s decision to recognize west Jerusalem as the capital of Israel: “Jerusalem has always been Palestinian territory and it must remain in its current status,” he said.
The chairman of the Israeli Olympic Committee, Nisim Sasportas, told Ynet: “For some time now we have been trying to guarantee our participation in the world championships. In principle, everyone says that it will work out, but we have still not received an invitation or visas. We are continuing to apply pressure. We have letters of support from the International Paralympics Committee, the European Paralympics Committee and the Olympic Athletes Committee, and hope that they allow the athletes and their security entourage to participate.”…

Moderation is NOT applicable to islam or any country that has it as its ideological doctrine. Wake Up!1 In Malatsia and the now Indonesia the muslims cooperated with the Japanese WRT allied troops and escaped POWs. only the Chinese helped the allies.

No formal diplomatic relations – no entry. This is why El Al doesn’t fly to Singapore—no overflight over Malaysia. (Singapore was formerly part of Malaysia.) The Paralympics should have considered this before selecting Kuching, Malaysia as a host city, and because this affects the 2020 Olympics, Israel should lodge a formal protest. This will also become an issue at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Qatar.

This is not the fault of the athletes and their chairman from israel, this is the fault of malaysian authorities. Sue them for impeding athletes to make entries in participating the event. They should have any rights in participating the event without being mixed in any political matters. But malaysian authorities bring the things up into political matters. And keep the eyes on malaysian PM mahathir bin mohammad. This racist c*nt should be given the chance to taste the humiliation over his racism.

You should understand that they won’t take the blame no matter what, since it’s from malaysian authorities that denied the entries of the athletes. Unless they’re proved to make malaysia holding the event to deliberately raise political issue which it is the absurd thing that I’ve ever heard. But until then, safe to speak, the paralympics only did what they can to choose the place to hold the event with their own selection method.

If the governing bodies around this particular sport were to come down like the proverbial “ton of bricks” on Malaysia and other governing bodies were to do the same, less of this would happen before dying away. The countries of the Islamic world could then play against each other and award meaningless medals.
There seems to be a moral vacuum at most of the top levels in the west and really, those people are the architects of their own misfortune.
