This is an important step in the right direction. This is what every country in the free world should be doing. Any Muslim who joins the jihad should be stripped of his or her citizenship. When Neil Prakash left Australia and joined ISIS, he joined the enemy force, a force that is at war with Australia and the other countries of the free world. Not canceling his Australian citizenship and letting him back in to Australia now would be like letting Americans who had joined the Nazi Party and gone to Germany back into the U.S. in 1942, at the height of the war. It would be suicidal.

An Australian-born militant of the so-called Islamic State is stripped of his citizenship whilst he awaits extradition from Turkey where he faces a prison sentence.

Having converted from Buddhism to Islam in 2012, Prakash featured in Islamic State videos and has previously admitted to being a member of the so-called Islamic State, though he claims to have “nothing to do” with the group in Australia.
The government, however, says the 27-year-old is a threat to Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Australia’s Minister for Home Affairs, Peter Dutton, told news agencies that the “Islamic State is opposed to Australia, their interests, values, democratic beliefs, rights and liberties.” He stated: “This government is determined to deal with foreign terrorist fighters as far from our shores as possible”….
The Melbourne-born rapper has been linked to several attack plans in Australia and has urged independent attacks against the United States.

Totally agree with Pamela Geller’s assessment. IMO active participation or support for a terrorism act should earn the death penalty even if the intended slaughter did not result.

There is the possibility that this animal may come back to Australia after all one day. Fiji is denying his second citizenship. But if he turns up, what is left of him after years in Turkish prisons will be thrown straight into prison here.

I like the way the ozys are being proactive and having a no messing about attitude with these Muzrat traitors but it does say that the scumbag was born in Melbourne so I’m very curious as to where they’re going to deport him. I believe that if born in a western country that they should be deported to the land of their forefathers but non of this is mentioned.
