A man who attacked police with a sword outside Buckingham Palace while repeatedly screaming Allahu Akbar has been found not guilty of preparing acts of terrorism.

Mohiussunnath Chowdhury, 27, told jurors his claims to support ISIS were ‘in jest’ and his attack was because he was ‘depressed’ and ‘wanted police to kill him’.
They unanimously acquitted the Uber driver, who lashed out at three officers on August 25 last year.
One of the officers said he had ‘fought for his life’ in the terrifying incident but a jury had failed to reach a verdict in June this year.

After that trial collapsed, Chowdhury was held at Belmarsh Prison – where he passed the time sketching pictures of an Islamist terrorist gunning down a man outside Number 10.
His latest trial was shown the drawing – in which the attacker is depicted shouting Allahu Akbar as blood sprays on the front door – along with a sketch of a plane hitting the Twin Towers in New York.
Prosecutors at this trial said Chowdhury had chosen ‘self-radicalisation’ and had scoured the internet for articles linked to Jihadi John and ISIS beheadings.
He had also sketched a picture of a man shooting at 10 Downing Street
Today Chowdhury, of Luton, Bedfordshire, bit his lip, raised his eyebrows and then saluted the jurors after they spent 11 hours and 36 minutes considering the verdict.
During the trial at the Old Bailey Chowdhury claimed he was depressed and wanted police to kill him.
He had repeatedly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is greatest) while wrestling for control of a four-foot blade at Constitution Hill in central London.
Chowdhury had driven his blue Toyota Prius at a marked police van before officers sprayed him with CS gas when they saw him sat in his car with the deadly weapon.

He had been pictured (left and right) buying items before the attack. Chowdhury denied preparing terrorist acts by obtaining a Samurai sword, purchasing a knife sharpener, preparing a suicide note, and driving to the area adjacent to Buckingham Palace
He had set off from his home with the sword and a blade sharpener before swerving in front of the police van at about 8.30pm.
Chowdhury said he had been feeling lonely and depressed and only wanted to get himself killed by brandishing the blade to police officers.
He said he had ‘so many chances’ to get out of his car and kill the officers but chose not to.
Chowdhury claimed he felt guilty about being a UK citizen since Muslims in Yemen were being killed by British weapons supplied to Saudi Arabia.
In a WhatsApp group chat Chowdhury was asked if his profile picture was an ISIS flag, and he responded: ‘It is an ISIS flag. I support ISIS,’ followed by a laughing emoji. He later told jurors it was all ‘in jest’.
Chowdhury was born in London in May 1991 and later moved to Luton, working as a self-employed Uber driver.
He had previously penned drawings of the Twin Towers being bombed whilst he was in prison
Further social media was revealed showing Chowdhury praising the Westminster Bridge terrorist Khalid Masood and claiming all the non-Muslim victims of the atrocity would go to hell.
Chowdhury urged his family to ‘struggle against the enemies of Allah’ including the Queen and British soldiers in a suicide note left on his sister’s laptop.
Sneha Chowdhury, 24, said her brother was ‘not a trouble-maker, just a practical joker’ whose interests included ‘cartoons, funny stuff and things like memes’.
She said she found it odd when he suggested they watch ‘The State’, a Channel 4 documentary about the rise of ISIS.
Chowdhury had conducted internet searches for beheadings and ‘Prophet Mohammed crimes’ and ‘Mohammed sex slaves’.

Prosecutor Timothy Cray said Chowdhury planned to die as a martyr, fighting in the name of Allah, in the wake of the terror attacks at Westminster and London Bridge last year.
Chowdhury was driving along the south east side of the road nearest the palace when he saw the marked police van coming the other way from St James’ Park way.
As Chowdhury swerved across the road the officers inside initially thought the driver might be drunk or on drugs, the court heard.

PC Ian Midgley and PC Gavin Hutt bravely approached Chowdhury and managed to overpower him and retrive the sword.
PC Hutt said Chowdhury started screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ while wielding the sword.
Investigators found Chowdhury had searched beheadings in Chechnya, Islamic State beheadings and Jihadi John on the internet.

Now hold on, Felix. Those may have been damming pieces of evidence to be sure but, he was a “prankster.” You know, like most jihadi’s these days. And it’s a good thing the jury saw that he was just ‘playing a prank.’
My dad has always been suspicious of them, and that informed my point of view from a very early age. So I have indeed been very lucky.
Obviously, very few of us knew exactly what we know now back in the 70’s, but these days I think it’s more wilful ignorance and blindness, along with PC garbage (Political Cowardice) than just a simple unknowing.
After all, the information is just a click away. I don’t pretend to understand the reasons for this refusal to be informed.

They have got to be the stupidest group of people on the planet. But, he was a ‘practical joker’ so that’s probably what took them so long. They wanted to go through his ‘joke history’ to make sure he was really telling the truth. Sure glad they did. Can’t imagine the travesty that could have taken place if they didn’t understand his brand of tomfoolery.

So Tommy robinson gets 6 months in prison for talking about muslim rape gangs. A muslim gets off scott free for attempting to kill police officers. I hope you jurors are pleased with yourselves.
The British police have successfully completed their muslim diversity sensitivity training.
They understand now that muslims are merely practicing their religious freedom, as enshrined in the koran, that permits sexual slavery, rape, forced conversion, assault, murder and genocide!
The police stand aside now, smile and applaud with a quiet opera clap of approval.
However, patriots like Tommy that expose the truth are arrested and thrown in prison.

A small correction is needed with this report, this Brit is not cowed or crippled by fear, just pissed off and frustrated.
People need to remember sometimes that like in America, the make up of a jury can effect the outcome of any trial, and I would like to know the racial and religious profile of that jury because white natives are a minority in London these days. There is no question in my mind at all that with the left wing cultural Marxist agenda being aired every day in every way, the steady drip drip of anti white race hate prejudice has consequences for the dispensation of justice in a place as “enriched” as London is now.
Plainly that jury didn’t care a hoot about where that jihadist came from, and it was Luton the home of the 7/7 bombers and several more like them, or the fact his beliefs and affiliations marked him out not as assimilated but a rejectionist of both our values, background and cultural norms.
What mattered to that jury was striking a blow against those who built up what some are bent on stealing.
What is so wrong here is that ignorance laced heavily with anti white prejudice is rampant in the legal profession involved in terror cases, just look who is the boss at the CPS now, Max Hill QC, a more compromised by his left wing views PC half wit is hard to imagine and don’t get me started on the political class which is now importing thousands of enrichers every year despite what WE want.
No,all need to remember the case of Justine Damond and the unjustified delay to proceedings in her case because her murderer was a Somali and one of Obama’s chosen.
If you suspect ‘jury nullification’ or a ‘bronx jury’ … I am sure you’re right.
They would not have convicted a suicide bomber … even if he went off in open court.

Islam culture has not change or grown like Western culture has. It has internal structures that defends against change allowing Islam to remain the same as it was 1400 years ago. A war, slave, racist, hate, lie, and no cultural limits on violence civilization.
The only to cause change is to build it from the bottom up as I am trying to do with the Israel Longhorn Project. Arabs or Muslims have little or no respect for animals.

Well it’s been said that parts of Britain are already owned by rich Arabs and they’ve bribed off politicians/judges and so forth. So this pattern of behavior of being light on Muslim terrorists and brutal against opponents of Islam (a man was killed for leaving bacon at a mosque and we all know they tried to kill Tommy Robinson for speaking out against gang-rapes/terrorism) shows us who is really in charge.
If the elites don’t get control over this then the future for Britain is either Islamification or civil war. The ordinary Brits are not stupid, they see the double-standard and when people aren’t given justice, they rebel against the authorities and their enemies. With the way things are going, it seems people will just take the law into their own hands and it’ll be very ugly.
The outcome of this could be what Poppey mentioned – a bunch of Muslims as the jurists.
They would not have a problem with his actions. I don’t know how jury selection is done over there , but here they usually use local people unless it has allot of publicity and they move it to another jurisdiction.
I hate that thought, because I live in britain, and the thought of handing over our nukes makes me very nervous, but you’re absolutely right.

I suppose he is back on his job as an Uber driver meandering around London looking for a target. Not long before he will have killed a few innocent people. Have you ever noted how many Muslims Uber employs? Here in Houston I suspect 50% of their drivers are Muslims. In New York I heard the percentage is about 70%. A friend who lives in London says its about 90%. Good job for one who might be looking for targets of opportunity be it for larceny or terror. MIght be a good idea to avoid UBER lest you become a target of their rage. Pass this tip along.
