Airbnb cancels West Bank settlement boycott

Last month, the vacation rental website announced that it will no longer list homes in Area C of the West Bank.

Aribnb has backtracked on its decision to boycott West Bank settlements, Israel’s Tourism Ministry announced on Monday night.

“This is a step in the right direction,” Levin said.

The announcement follows a meeting between officials from Airbnb and Levin.

But in spite of Levin’s announcement, a statement could be found on the Airbnb website stating it no longer planned to list settler rentals.

Levin said that he will continue to act to ensure that all Israeli citizens will receive equal treatment and will continue to strengthen tourism in Israel, including in Judea and Samaria.

Last month, the vacation rental website announced that it will no longer list homes in Area C of the West Bank. About 200 homes in Judea and Samaria had been listed on Airbnb prior to the announcement.

Airbnb justified the decision by stating that it had developed a new five point checklist for handling listings in “occupied territories.” and had “concluded that we should remove listings in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank that are at the core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians.”

Critics charged that Airbnb was singling out Israel, because it did not delisted properties in any other conflict zone, including Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus, Russian-occupied Crimea, or Chinese occupied Tibet, among others.

What’s really unjust is the unwritten boycott of all Muhammadist tyrannies & Muhammadist zones towards Non-muhammadists, where Non-muhammadists aren’t safe to speak freely & be atheists or anything. No truthful reflections on social media or in the public on the Muhammadist tyrannies or it’s jail time with maybe capital punishment. Rape-risk high. Women must cover their head. Special-attention during the yearly Ramadan daytime-fasting, to which unjust Muhammad instructed that whoever doesn’t fast then, literally “can be killed.”
Anybody might be on their kill-list.
You might even end up in slavery, especially but not just, when you’re an African.
Unjust Muhammad declared his deity turned Africans black so their descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks & started selling Africans for slavery.
& while unjust Muhammad publicly & frequently ‘kissed’ boys’ penises & sucked boys’ tongues & lips, couples aren’t allowed to publicly kiss or hold hands or they get caned or things.

Once you’ve picked the evil of islum over good such businesses will never receive my patronage again (e.g. Subway, Butterball Turkey, Campbell’s soup). They can die on the vine.

Whoa… we just had a Butterball turkey for Thanksgiving and always buy Campbell soup – are they halal food?If that is still true that will be off the shopping list. We will not subsidize this filthy ideology.

Perhaps this triumph over the forces of political correctness, censorship and suppression of anything even mildly offensive to Muslims will inspire additional efforts to crush censorship,especially that imposed by Facebook and Google and their ilk.
