Meanwhile, the social media giants are busy deplatforming and silencing foes of jihad terror. Having been one of the early targets of social media censorship on Facebook, YouTube et al, I have for quite some time advocated for anti-trust action against these bullying behemoths. We are seeing an unprecedented erosion in our First Amendment rights, increasingly prohibiting the flow of ideas and free expression in the public square (social media). Run by left-wing self-possessed snowflakes, social media giants are indulging their worst autocratic impulses. And because they can, it is getting worse. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
Having grown up in the 1970s, I can tell you it was a vastly different country then. It was free. But we aren’t any no longer, and it is time we took back what is ours — our unalienable freedoms. This app is for Indonesia, but it is consistent with Google’s overall policy of sharia-compliance. It will be here before too long.

A new Android app has launched with the focus of allowing Muslims to report individuals who commit blasphemy, or insult Islam.
No, this is not a joke. The app, “Smart Pakem”, which launched in Indonesia last month at the request of the Indonesian government, will allow users and government officials to uphold Sharia law and target and report people who hold “misguided” beliefs in violation of Islamic law, which forbids insults of Islam, insults against the Prophet Mohammed, or the recognition of any other religion besides Islam.
Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world, with an estimated Muslim population of 207 million.
Indonesia’s criminal code prohibits blasphemy, which is defined as “the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things”.
The Code’s Article 156(a) targets those who deliberately, in public, “express feelings of hostility, hatred, or contempt against religion”. The penalty for violating Article 156(a) of Indonesia’s criminal code is a maximum of five years imprisonment.
Rajan Anandan, who serves as the VP of Google in south-east Asia, has not shown any resistance to the app, which is available in the Google app store.
The National Secular Society (NSS) has since written to Anadan requesting the Google not stock the app in the app store, arguing that the app will have negative consequences for religious minorities and will further minimize freedom of expression….
NSS, which works to repeal blasphemy laws around the world, strongly condemned Indonesia’s blasphemy law.
“Indonesia’s blasphemy law is a morally unjustifiable tool of repression which should be repealed as soon as possible. While this law exists anyone who believes in free expression should make it as difficult as possible for the Indonesian government to enforce the law. Google has greatly benefited from the freedom to share information globally. We ask it and other multinational companies to consider whether they can in good conscience profit from the repression caused by governments’ crackdowns on free speech.”…

The Book of Daniel is in the Old Testament. There, Daniel gives a number of prophecies ; some are full of many details and restricted to exact time lines that stretched from a few years forward to over a thousand years in the future. These were not simple proclamations, so that any interpretation could be rendered upon them, and that any hint of fulfillment could be cited as indeed fulfilling them. They were exact in their foretelling and they were exact in their fulfillment.
The Bible is either God’s word to us or it’s not, and if not, then His existence should be questioned. But, if it is His word, then His existence should be acknowledged. The Bible is unique, in that prophecies of God are a very big component and are likened to His signature. They appear throughout the scriptures, but certain books of the Bible contain many. The total number may well be near a thousand ; some are simple and some are extremely complex and span great periods of time.
I could give you more of the actual details if you truly are searching, but I put to you ” Who can do such things ; if not God, then who ?” If I were to hand you a book that was full of predictions concerning the stock market or sport outcomes and it had a 100% accuracy rate so far, I highly doubt you would disregard it. You would of course use it to make yourself rich. The Bible is such a book. Of the hundreds of prophecies given, only a small handful concerning the end times remain to be fulfilled. All the others have come about exactly as given and to the time allotted.
God says His word is the only thing He serves. He gave it and He proves its authenticity, and He will abide by it so that we can be sure of it. Books like Daniel are not easy reading and require a solid understanding of scripture and God to comprehend, and a solid understanding of history to see their unfolding.

Because slavery is allowed in Islam in the Qur’an. To speak out against that which Mohammad sanctioned as “Allah’s will”, is to speak out against Islam itself. Islam will never change and can’t due to how its scriptures were plainly with no interpretation needed spelled out what to do with those Muslims who do speak out against the injustices in Islamic teaching – they are not to be considered Muslims and are to be killed as other infidels.

Last month, news emerged that Google was secretly working on a Chinese search app code-named Dragonfly for devices running Android. It removes any content that the Chinese government doesn’t want its people to see, such as that pertaining to free speech, human rights, democracy, and political dissidents.

Growing up in 70’s America was free? No
way! I grew up in the 50’s and early 60’s when America was the land of the free but since the Admin of LBJ and his Civil Rights Act of 1964 America has become a land of affirmative action with judicial and statutory imposed racial and gender preferences. White Christan males have no rights in America (unless one is a Kennedy) they are targets for economic ruin unless they obey the edicts of the left. Our government, churches, universities, armed services all have been hijacked by leftist weasels. At least in France people appear , judging by the last few weeks, to have enough balls to say enough is enough.

i’m with you andrew. you and i live in a country that is nothing like the one we were born in, and no one younger than us can fathom the depth of the fall of our society. our parents and grandparents generations decided to throw God out of our schools and society, He obliged them, and we now literally live in a sewer. as a young wife before the kids came along, my mom was a nurse in phoenix in the 1940’s, took the bus home at 2 AM many nights, and walked home about a mile along dark, unlit streets in the quiet desert night and no one would have ever thought in that day that she was unsafe or acting foolishly. i can’t think of another example more glaring of how beastial we have become since we told God we didn’t need him around

I used to know an US army platoon sergeant who fought against Imperial Japan. He told me in the early 20th century there used to be a Chinatown in Santa Ana, CA, but that it was deliberately burned to the ground. He had nothing against Asians, he said the Japanese sniper that shot him was a good shot and indirectly arranged for him meeting his wife (i.e. in an army hospital)

A Muslim should never be elected to a public office in this country. Islam requires Muslims to abide by the teachings of Islam and Sharia law, both of which are at direct odds with our Constitution, our laws and our freedoms. Muslims believe that Sharia law overrides all other laws. We cannot assimilate people who are hostile to our government, our laws, our way of life, demanding and intent on conquering.

Include me among the list of deplorable who not only disdain and refute Islam but know that it is an ideology of world domination cloaked in the disguise of a “religion”.
