I can only wonder why Israel stages operation in Gaza- some intel gathering effort, I gather.

AFAIAC, the time is long past to put an end to Hamas’ and other Gazan actors’ ability to harm Israelis. That would entail a war nobody wants, but I can only hope that Israeli rules of engagement do not put Israeli lives at risk. I don’t think any nation pays more deference to the enemy’s civilian casualties than does Israel, imperiling the lives of their own soldiers in the process. They should relax their rules of engagement to better protect their own people.

The wild card in such a war will be the north- how will Iran/Hezbollah react? If they react with a strong military response, then you have a conflagration in the Middle East, with Israel and Lebanon being at the epicenter. Not pretty, but we could be at that point.

What ever happened to the watch word “Never Again!” Giving
up Gaza was a mistake and it now appears, once again, as that mistake is coming
back to cause more harm to that country. Just as Russia took back the Crimea,
Israel should do the same with Gaza. It must determine and conclude that the
area is necessary for its protection, and force the Arab population into Arab
states, while not giving a damn about the expected condemnation from the rest
of the world. It must do the same with the West Bank. Peace with these Arab protagonists
and a two state solution is essentially an impossibility, as the Arabs will
always claim that Israel is an occupier and it and its people must be
destroyed. NEVER AGAIN requires that kind of response from the Israeli leaders.

Dennis, Israel does not want to oversee Gaza, and probably does not want Hamas removed from power. It wants a stable southern border.

Bwahahahahahaha, the charter of Hamas used to cite one of the authentic ahadith that calls for the worldwide extermination of Jews. Do you consider them “good”, “decent”, “honorable” muslums?

Wanting and getting what you want are not necessarily the same. Gaza would be a great additional defensible port for Israel Since the Arabs seem to be unable to accept the propriety of living and working well with the Israeli’s, I see no reason to continue the false hope that the Arabs can ever be taught what is best for its people.

Agree. Trump was conned by Abbas initially but when he found out the truth boy was he mad as hell at the jihadi http://bit.ly/2rOmfyJ

That’s when he decided enough is enough and that inspite of huge opposition led to shifting of Embassy to Jerusalem and No more funding to the jihadis.

Israel’s mistake is the same as always. The evils of Islam attacks civilians while Israel attacks the raghead military. You want to really stop this stuff than target a hamas or Pali apartment complex and put some misses right into it. I woukd do it if they let me and showed me how. Once Palis start dropping like flys theybwill turn on the raghead hamas military.

Israel will be fine. They need to take down the U.S. first and then seriously go after Israel.
As long as Trump is President, Israel has noting to fear. Trump will defend Israel and out military is still superior to their military. When Trump is NOT the President and Netanyahu is NOT the P.M., it’s over. Also if there is a “peace agreement” signed, expect it to NOT last. Three and one half years into the “peace”, there will no longer be peace. GUARANTEED! It’s stated in the Old and New Testament. Isaiah has 66 chapters and is a mini Bible alluding to the New Testament. It’s all there in the Old and New Testament. It’s too bad they divided it up by chapters….

A seven year covenant signed with Israel
Daniel 9:27 (NIV)
27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.

For every Jewish Israeli citizen there should be a 105mm surplus howitzer in their garage along w/prox-fused and WP rounds and an instruction manual on how to calculate azimuth and elevation to targets in Gaza City for responding to muslum rocket attacks appropriately.

Now that’s a capital idea.

105mm howitzers have to be pretty cheap on the surplus market and they’re not as big or bulky as 155mm’s. I’d bet a big SUV or dualie could tow a 105 and nothing says hello to f’ing muslums like an airburst or WP!

I don’t know about cheap … there’s probably some collector’s value. Have you priced a WWII M-1?

MuhamMUDTheFakeProphet

I remember at one point I could’ve picked up an surplus M1-Garand for $200, but I didn’t like the idea of getting a case of garand thumb. I’d rather have an M-14.

And, back in the eighties, you could pick up a Chinese SKS, still packed in cosmoline, for between 35 and 45 dollars. And, direct from Russia Kalashnikovs (converted to semi-auto) for around 50 bucks. That, of course, was prior to the Russia “sanctions” and certain “sanctions” on Chinese goods.

Try between $900.00 and $55,000. That high end does not include what is referred to as “Super Collectables”, which can fetch six figures. Excluding the high, and low, the average price paid for a decent shape M1 was over $2500.00, in 2017.

The M1-Garand I could’ve bought for $200? That was back in 1993.

If it was a WWII M-1 and in NRA “very good” condition, it would bring a minimum of $2500.00. That’s based on 2017 sales.

The gun store I priced M1-Garands at had many of them. I’m not sure if they were WW2 or Korean vintage, I believe they were still packed in cosmoline.

..and then comes hollywood, the UN and others, complaining when Israel is defending herself against moslems who want to wipe Israel off the map. But I have very bad news for them. Whether people are for or against the Jews and Israel, they will be around ’til crack of doom and that is especially bothersome to the moslem, which makes them go into a frenzy!! islam, the enemy of mankind.

What with Mexico’s complicity with the “migrant” caravans, could this be our future along our southern border?

Not a big worry, though. The Mexican army hasn’t won a battle since 1836 (the Alamo).

Now is the time to wipe Hamas from this world!!! I hope that Israel will finally do what needs to be done and they will be done with this evil force. They have rockets but Israel has an air force like no other. They should just cover this evil place with bombs and be done with.
