The establishment media routinely ignores such stories, but jihad activity in the U.S. continues. As usual, not only does it get little to no notice in the media, but law enforcement and intelligence officials refuse to consider the larger implications of each case for our national security today and our very survival as a free society in the future.
Ohio’s WHIO reported Thursday that “Naser Almadaoji, 19, was arrested at a Columbus airport on Wednesday with tickets to Kazakhstan. He planned to go from there to Afghanistan to support ISIS, according to U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Benjamin Glassman.”
The WHIO story quoted one of Almadaoji’s neighbors, James Fisher: “I’m extremely shocked that somebody that close to me is thinking about joining a terrorist group like that. In my opinion if they don’t want to be here, then why are they here? But this is kind of scary thinking that someone that close to me is a possible terrorist.”

Sure, that’s scary. But there is no hint in the article that Almadaoji is being treated as anything other than a lone wolf, doubtless “radicalized on the Internet,” as the hoary phrase goes, and entirely cut off from the Muslim community in the Columbus area. Never mind that numerous jihad terrorists have worshiped at the Masjid Omar in Columbus.
Did Naser Almadaoji ever go to that mosque? What do they teach there? Has it ever been investigated? Have FBI agents even been there, other than for “outreach”?
James Fisher might be in for a surprise if he found out what some other neighbors of his were up to, but no one with the authority to investigate seems particularly interested in this. Where Almadaoji got his ideas seems to be a matter of complete indifference to law enforcement and intelligence agents.
The same questions can be asked, and the same official indifference observed, in the case of Alaa Mohd Abusaad, a Muslima in Tusacaloosa, Alabama. Al.com reported Tuesday that Abusaad was “charged by federal authorities in Birmingham with attempting to provide support and resources to terrorist organization al Qaeda.”
“According to authorities,” Al.com continued, “Abusaad instructed a female undercover FBI informant how to send money to the mujahedeen – fighters engaged in jihad – saying money was always needed. ‘You can’t have a war without weapons,’ Abusaad told the informant. ‘You can’t prepare a soldier without equipment.’”
Here again: where did Alaa Mohd Abusaad get the idea to do this? Where did she learn her understanding of Islam? Certainly she is a Sharia-observant Muslim, as her mugshot depicts her looking out expressionless under a black hijab. And Sharia, of course, preaches the necessity of jihad.
Was Alaa Mohd Abusaad taught the paramount importance of observing every requirement of Sharia at home? From her parents? At the local mosque? All of the above? Has Abusaad’s mosque in Alabama been investigated? Why not? Would it be “Islamophobic” to do so? American authorities are betting the future of the United States on the assumption that Muslims here will, perhaps with one or two minor exceptions, assimilate, accept American values, and discard the aspects of Sharia that are incompatible with American law and Constitutional principles.
This assumption is based on an ignorance of history, for as I show in my book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, at no time and at no place in history have Muslims lived peacefully as equals with non-Muslims without some Muslims waging jihad and trying to impose Sharia. The assumption that it will be different for the U.S. is based on nothing in Islamic history or theology, and indeed, on nothing more than wishful thinking.
Neither Naser Almadaoji nor Alaa Mohd Abusaad grew up in a vacuum. But American officials do not wish to ponder the implications of that. And that ensures only one thing: there will be many, many more Naser Almadaojis and Alla Mohd Abusaads.

Of course they did not! The leftists, however, generally prefer a “victim narrative”, as they do for almost everything. It was probably racist bullying from an Islamophobic society which “forced” the Muslims to do this, according to them.

I know that and you know that, but most people I encounter on a daily basis love to tell me how great Muslims are and go on to praise their Muslim friends and neighbors. Never underestimate how stupid, delusional and uninformed / misinformed most people are. I even read about a situation in one of the most conservative cities in Texas where a Muslim con artist has been appointed as the #2 in command at the Repub party and many in the party love this lying, manipulative Muslim. If it can happen even in conservative Texas, it can happen anywhere!

I always try to ask them, if we cannot judge all muslims by the acts of jihad terrorists, then WHY do They want us to judge all muslims by the few They’ve met in their peaceful microcosm??!!

Muslims are very good at concealing their true intentions. How often do we hear the jihadi or terrorist was a ‘nice friendly guy’, very often even their parents say this. The only way you can tell a ‘good Muslim’ from a terrorist is when he tries to kill you or cause you harm.

The same old, same old. The Boston Marathon Bombers and Nidal Malik Hasan the Fort Hood terrorist. It’s more likely that the Authorities are targeting concerned citizens as a pretext of “extremist ‘right wing”‘ radicals.
