Basel Jewish community condemn ‘antisemitic’ attacks on shop in the city, including the removal of the letter ‘J’ from its sign

A kosher butcher shop in Basel, Switzerland has been vandalised four times in one month in what local Jews are condemning as an antisemitic campaign of intimidation.

In one of the attacks, the unidentified perpetrators removed the letter J from the German-language word for Jewish from a metal sign over the shop, as well as two of the Hebrew-language letters for the word kosher.

In the latest incident, on Sunday, the shop’s window display was shattered, the Swiss-Jewish newspaper Tachles reported Monday.

Leopold Stefansky, the president of the Basel Jewish community, called the incidents “antisemitic attacks,” the news website 20Min reported.

Jonathan Kreutner, the secretary general of the FSCI federation of Swiss Jews, told 20Min that the incidents are “generating concern” among members of the community.

Police are investigating the incidents, the news website reported.

Stefansky said the community is considering hiring a security firm and a video surveillance system, “but it costs,” he told 20Min.

In 2016, the Swiss Interior Ministry’s Service for the Fight against Racism published a report that said that Switzerland’s Jews need to pay for their own security costs even though doing so is really the government’s responsibility.

Following an outcry, a motion calling for the federal government to fund the security costs of Swiss Jews, estimated at about £348,000 ($450,000) annually, was adopted by the lower and upper chambers of the Swiss parliament and approved by the government earlier this year.

Are there more Muslims than Jews there?
Muslims are being protected. Jews may want to consider coming to Israel or the U.S. while Trump is President.
It is not going to get better unless the EU wakes up!

The elite are on the side of Muslims, not Jews. The elite is using them to divide and conquer.
They exploit the liberal Jews. From what I can see, liberal Jews may see Muslims as a persecuted group that needs them to look out for them.

THE TRUTH MUST BE TOLD. To the ignorant in the UK and elsewhere. The kosher meat industry in the uk has been abusing the people who invited them there, to live a peacefull life and the jewish community see no problem with it but at the first sign of abuse against them it is automatically anti semitism.
So lets support my statement of truth.
There was an exemption in 1933 made to allow the religious slaughter of animals without pre-stunning for the consumption by those groups only. jews and muslims

The English law states that”any animal destined for human consumption MUST be pre-stunned prior to slaughter”. That law should protect us the indigenous non jews and non muslims from this barbarically slaughtered meat.
But it does not because the jews only eat the front end of every carcass they kill , selling the rear ends on to the national meat market for any unsuspecting person to eat. Equally the same applies to halal meat but you can see it being forced in to schools and hospitals and takeaways even thou it is illegal.
So if the kosher butchers stop abusing the people in the first place then maybe the abuse levied on them might stop.

All synagogues in Europe must now be guarded 24/7 because of Mohammedan cultural enrichment. The silence of multiculti advocates is deafening.
