Muslim cleric calls Jewish archaeologists “rats [that] burrow under the ground”

32

More Islamic genius and intellectual enlightenment. Archeology (science) is described by a revered Islamic cleric as “rats burrowing underground.” Give him a Nobel prize!

The Islamic claim to Jerusalem is a ruse designed to undermine Jewish history and deprive the Jewish people of their homeland in accordance with hateful antisemitic Islamic teachings.

Not that reality or truth ever enter into the Islamic propaganda, but Israel does not excavate under the Temple Mount.

Story continues below advertisement

The entire narrative surrounding the Dome of the Rock is pure fiction. It was Hitler’s ally in the Middle East, Muslim leader Mufti Al-Husseini, who implemented that deceptive restoration of the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Al-Husseini had the Dome gold-plated for the first time, imposing the false narrative on Jewish Jerusalem by creating more importance for a bogus holy Muslim site in the eyes of the Arab world.

In fact, the “Palestinians” have been systematically destroying precious artifacts and historical discoveries in what Natan Sharansky has called the largest archeological catastrophe in history. This is part of the Islamic destruction of the most important artifacts for Christianity and Judaism. Little is said of the ongoing desecration of Joseph’s tomb or the Muslim member states’ decision to designate the holy Jewish sites — the  Tomb of Rachel and the Cave of the Patriarchs — as mosques and to remove them from Israel’s National Heritage list. And Turkey is desecrating the most exquisite and important church in the world, the Hagia Sophia, by turning it into a mosque.

In a conversation I had with Natan Sharansky back in 2006, we discussed the fatwa that has been issued to destroy religious sites. Sharansky said, “For a number of years already, there is the selected destruction of Christian/Jewish artifacts which is of course the center for Jewish/Christian religion. On the temple mount, King Solomon stables up to the crusaders on………..when the Taliban destroyed the Buddhas in Afghanistan all the world was correctly enraged. Here we see the systematic, the biggest maybe in the history of geology/archeology, destruction of the most important artifacts for Christianity and Judaism. And the world knows nothing of this. The crime of the Temple Mount archaeological destruction is a crime against civilization.” The Islamic mandate to destroy and falsify all other religions was on full and horrific display today.

Palestinian cleric: Israel digs under the Al-Aqsa Mosque like “rats burrow under the ground”

  • Fatah repeats libel: Israel is carrying out “plan to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
  • Fatah: Temple Mount is “a completely Islamic site to which the Jews have no right”
  • Hamas justified murder of Israeli with Al-Aqsa libel: “While blessing this heroic operation, we emphasize that harming the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, and that this operation is a response to warnings regarding the danger of what the occupation is currently doing, and what it intends to do at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

By Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik, PMW

A Palestinian cleric compared Israelis to rats, claiming Israel is excavating under the Al-Aqsa Mosque like “rats burrow under the ground only for evil and destruction.” He also stated, in the interview on official Palestinian Authority TV, that due to Israel’s digs the mosque has “no foundations now”:

Sheikh Raed Da’na from the Religious Source of Authority in Jerusalem: “The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque has no foundations now… Al-Aqsa is now empty of the rocks and that which supports it, due to the Israeli machine that is excavating under it (sic., Israel does not excavate under the Temple Mount), as rats burrow under the ground only for evil and destruction.”

[Official PA TV, Topic of the Day, July 23, 2018]

This statement is just one in an endless stream of false accusations by Palestinian leaders that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is “in danger” and that Israel is carrying out a deliberate plan to destroy it. At times, PA leaders have intensified the repetition of this libel in order to ignite fury among Palestinians and urge them to use violence and carry out terror attacks against Israelis. This was the case before and during the terror waves in 2014 and 2015/16 in which dozens of Israelis were murdered and hundreds wounded.

Therefore it is not surprising that Hamas was quick to justify yesterday’s murder of Israeli Ari Fuld by a Palestinian teenager with the alleged “danger” to Al-Aqsa. Hamas presented “the heroic operation” as a reaction to Israel’s “harming Al-Aqsa”:

“While blessing this heroic operation, we emphasize that harming the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, and that this operation is a response to warnings regarding the danger of what the occupation is currently doing, and what it intends to do at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

[Donia Al-Watan, independent Palestinian news agency, Sept. 16, 2018]

For decades, Palestinian leaders have alleged that Israel is destroying the mosque, and it is not the first time Palestinians have referred to Israel as rats or mice eating away at the foundations of the mosque.

Text: “Where is the Muslim nation?”

Text on wall: “Foundations of Al-Aqsa Mosque”
Text on cat: “The Islamic nation”

Similarly, Palestinian Media Watch reported that PA Chief Religious Justice Tayseer Tamimi claimed that Al-Aqsa was “hanging in midair” because Israel had removed its foundations by injecting chemicals into the rocks:

PA Libel: Israel using chemical acids to destroy Al-Aqsa mosque foundations

Tayseer Tamimi, PA Chief Religious Justice: “The [Israeli] excavations’ purpose is to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque. In fact, its foundations have been removed. Chemical acids were injected into the rocks to dissolve them. The soil and the pillars [were moved] so the mosque is hanging in midair. There is an Israeli plan to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque and to build the Temple.”

[Official PA TV, June 9, 2009]

Earlier this month, Abbas’ advisor and Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine Mahmoud Al-Habbash “emphasized the need to stop the ongoing crime against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is bowing under the yoke of the occupation and is being subjected to criminal attempts to divide, destroy, and Judaize it.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 8, 2018]

Likewise, the official PA daily described the visits of Jews to the Temple Mount as “invasions of the [Al-Aqsa] Mosque.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 11, 2018]

The PA, Fatah, and their leaders claim all of the Temple Mount and the Western Wall are integral parts of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and have repeatedly emphasized that “Jews have no right to it.”
Recently, Abbas’ Fatah Movement reiterated this in an official announcement:

Official PA TV newsreader 1: “The Fatah Movement emphasized that Israel has prepared a plan – and began carrying it out a while ago – to destroy the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the ongoing excavations underneath the mosque (sic.)”

Official PA TV newsreader 2: “Official [Fatah] Movement Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi said in a press release… that the Al-Aqsa Mosque – [and everything] aboveground, under it, and around it – is a completely Islamic site to which the Jews have no right.”

[Official PA TV News, July 26, 2018]

It should be noted that Israel doesn’t excavate under the Temple Mount.

PMW reported on a similar statement by PA Minister of Religious Affairs Yusuf Ida’is who said that “the excavations that the occupation institutions are conducting underneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque… threaten its structures, plazas” and that the Israeli “violations” are “advancing in a systematic and planned manner up to the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the establishment of their alleged Temple.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, July 18, 2018]

The Palestinians are adamant about denying any Jewish historical ties to Jerusalem in general and in particular to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall, which they refer to as the Al-Buraq Wall, named after a miraculous flying steed on which Islam’s Prophet Muhammad is said to have rode during his Night Journey from Mecca to “al aqsa mosque”, i.e., “the farthest mosque” (Quran, Sura 17). Therefore the Palestinians refer to the Western Wall of the Temple in Jerusalem as “the Al-Buraq Wall.”

The following are longer excerpts of the statements referred to above:

Headline: “Badran: Our Palestinian people knows how to respond to the occupation’s arrogance”
“Following the heroic stabbing operation (i.e., terror attack, 1 murdered) that young Khalil Yusuf Jabarin (i.e., terrorist) carried out at the ‘Gush Etzion’ settlement (sic., at Gush Etzion Junction), which lead to the death of an extremist settler, Hamas political bureau member Husam Badran stated:
‘At a time when the Israeli enemy is carrying out its ongoing aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in the shadow of its ongoing attempts to impose a new reality on it, our Palestinian people are receiving the news today [Sept. 16, 2018] about the heroic operation that was carried out by young rebel Khalil Yusuf Jabarin at the ‘Gush Etzion’ settlement south of Jerusalem, which led to the death of a settler who is known for his extremism and his positions of hatred towards our people – and this is in order to reemphasize that our people will not be silent in the  face of the ongoing violations against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
While blessing this heroic operation, we emphasize that harming the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, and that this operation is a response to warnings regarding the danger of what the occupation is currently doing, and what it intends to do at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Our Palestinian people knows how to respond to the occupation’s arrogance and its crimes. This operation reflects its belief in resistance as the only option for deterring this occupier, and thwarting its criminal plans.'”

[Donia Al-Watan, independent Palestinian news agency, Sept. 16, 2018]

Khalil Jabarin – 16-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and murdered 45-year-old Israeli American civilian Ari Fuld, a father of four, in a supermarket parking lot at Gush Etzion Junction, south of Jerusalem, on Sept. 16, 2018. Before succumbing to his wounds Fuld, together with another civilian at the scene, shot and wounded Jabarin, leading to his capture.

“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine, [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, [and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Shari’ah Justice] Mahmoud Al-Habbash… gave the Friday sermon yesterday [Sept. 7, 2018] at the great Plateau Mosque in Abidjan, Ivory Coast…
Al-Habbash emphasized the need for the unity of the nation and Muslims throughout the world around the cause of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, as it is the central cause of the Muslims, and also emphasized the need to stop the ongoing crime against the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is bowing under the yoke of the occupation and is being subjected to criminal attempts to divide, destroy, and Judaize it.”

[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 8, 2018]

Headline: “Settlers continued to do as they please with the Al-Aqsa Mosque under increased protection”
“Alleged Temple organizations increased their calls to their supporters and to the settler public through their information websites to broadly participate in invasions of the [Al-Aqsa] Mosque for the Jewish holidays that will continue until the end of this month.”

[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Sept. 11, 2018]

“Alleged Jewish Temple organizations” refer to religious Jewish movements including the Temple Mount Institute, the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, The Initiative for Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount and Students for the Temple Mount, which spread awareness of the importance of the Temple Mount in Judaism and encourage people to visit the site.

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.

I wouldn’t repost this or any other story on Palestinian anything. It is because I do not believe in giving them even a speck of public attention. Their greed and hate speaks for itself. I say take a map of Israel and Palestine, and draw an exact line down the middle, give the coastal half to Israel and the inland half to Palestine and be done with the squabbling. Wanting Jerusalem is ridiculous. And they obviously wouldn’t stop there because they believe in fighting to the death for all land they claim is Islamic property, even if they just take it from others by cruelty, war crimes, and force.

Islam IS hate speech…

to me this is amusing, as I see these so-called Islamic leaders as the “RATS and Mosquitoes” of this world today. For these vermin to refer to the Israeli’s as Rats or Apes or Pigs is ludicris at best. Islam is a belief system that justifies beast like behavior and they do not get the right to bad mouth others, especially others who are sane, productive, non-violent and have contributed positively and mightily to this world upon we live. These people are insane. Unfortunately we cannot ignore their insanity. We must remain vigilant and take all the steps necessary to preclude them from using their insanity from overwhelming this world upon which we live. Right and reasonable thinking people must always consider the source from which these comments come, and recognizing the inanity of those who speak from the belief system that is Islam will immediately result in a determination that what is being said is likely false and malicious.

These people are insane.

Unfortunately, Dennis, that isn’t so. They are intolerant, hateful, dececptive, murderous. The difference between them (I think you are and I talking about the same “them”) and “us” is one of culture, ideological beliefs, and spiritual values. Neverthless, I think it is a mistake to attribute their attitudes and actions to anything approximating mental illness, as it promotes the wrong response on the part of those who care about freedom of the individual mind and spirit. “These people” are all-too-human.

OTOH, you may mean insane in a popular way suggesting they believe ludicrous ideas. Even so, I think it’s not good to dehumanize even Moslem leaders by referring to them as vermin. That is the same language Nazis used about Jews, and I think it facilitated their goal of implementing the Final Solution.

While I appreciate your reply commentary, and I would never like to be categorized in the same sentence as Nazi’s, the insanity that I believe can be associated with Islam’s radical believers, is the fact that they could ever believe that any God would give them a Book that promotes violence, slavery, women as second class citizens who were created to be an essential element to propagate the species, overthrow of everything non-Muslim hate of all non-Muslims and especially the accusations that preach and promote their anti-Semitism. Anyone who believes that they were the result of “divine” inspiration is, at least to me, INSANE. No matter how you play with the semantics, the results are the same: these people ARE INSANE from my simple perspective.

Well according to the Hebrew Bible, God did tell the ancient Israelites to initiate lethal violence, although my sense is the commands to do so were, unlike those of Islam, bound by circumstance. Jews haven’t been killing homosexuals, oh, at least the advent the rabbinical tradition.

Besides, to quote Niels Bohr, who when challenging Albert Einstein when the latter commented that, “God does not play dice”, replied, “How do you know what God does?”.

I do think that perfectly sane people can believe the most monstrous things. Catholics once believed is was right, on theological grounds, to kill Protestants. They believed that Jews, as a group, were responsible for killing Jesus (only under Vatican II were Jews formally obsolved of that ridiculous charge.

So we disagree. But my sense is you can productively engage, and for that I am appreciative.

I also very much appreciate your impressive and intellectual debating style. I recognize that the Old Testament does have commentary that calls for things like ‘an eye for an eye,’ but the jews adopted The Ten Commandments, one of those Commandments states “Thou shall not murder.” Islam, on the other hand, promotes and preaches “murder.” That is as irreverent as any belief system could be. That is one of the reasons that I see these people as insane or to characterize them more pointedly, worshippers of things Satanic.

An eye for an eye is to do with financial matters, not literally taking someone’s eye.
It has been misquoted through the years, until people believed it was a literal thing.

“It’s not good to dehumanize even moslem leaders by referring to them as vermin?” Really. They are the ones who preach violence against the non-muslim. They are the ones who preach that Jews are dogs. They are the ones who preach it is ok to perform FGM’s. They are the ones who promote honor killings. They are the ones who preach it is ok to commit rape of the kefar. No, they should not be referred to as vermin. They are far LOWER than vermin.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line

The Islamic world never showed much interest in this mosque unless other people showed an interest in it. For example, it was not until the 1950’s that the gold was placed on the dome- in fact, the building fell into considerable disrepair under Ottoman rule. The idea that Al-Aqsa mosque is “the furthest mosque” referenced in the Koran is highly conjectural- after all, it wasn’t build until the generation after Mohammad’s death. Indeed, some Moslem regligious scholar endorse the idea furthest mosque is probably on the Arabian penensula.

Jerusalem has no documented theological importance to Islam. But Jerusalem has always been central to Judaism, and is greatly valued by many Christians, given its centrality to the genesis of Christianity.

The Muslims like to control the entire world. The world is divided to two parts. Dar al Islam and Dar al Harb. Dar al Islam refers to those lands where Muslims can practice their religion as the ruling sect.
Dar al Harb – Territory of war. It means that the rest of the world should be under Muslim law. Whether in peace or by war.
In order to control the world they use 3 ways of operation.
– Propaganda against unbelievers.
– Immigration to the west.
– Jihad. A war or struggle against unbelievers.
This is a perfect example of it.

The thinking of Muslims is strictly still in the 14th century. They seem to have a inability to understate science beyond applied science, that is scientific research and the scientific method. Here new human knowledge is developed and new theories are made. This is strictly the environment modern Archaeologists operate in. Searching for new knowledge and developing new theories. This can only be done through their precise diggings to find ancient artifacts. A permanent dark age will be the result of a world wide Muslim hegemony. This cannot be allowed to happen, or there will be a very chaotic future at best.
