The murder of this little girl is more of the poison fruit of the left’s immigration policies, which leftists indefatigably push on us in the name of “compassion” for the “refugees.” Well, where is the compassion for Marrisa Shen? The members of St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church no doubt thought they were doing a wonderful good deed by bringing Ibrahim Ali to Canada. What do they think now? Will they reconsider their support for open borders, or dig in and defensively downplay this heinous crime? My money is on the latter. We seldom, if ever, see leftists waking up and renouncing the madness of their cult.

Accused killer Ibrahim Ali lived with his family in the shadow of the leafy Burnaby park where the body of young Marrisa Shen was found in July, 2017 — close enough that family members might have passed by the small memorial that reminded the public her killer was still at large.

The man confirmed that he was a relative of Ibrahim Ali, the Syrian refugee charged in Shen’s murder, and said “I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” before closing the door.
Ibrahim Ali came to Canada in March of 2017 through a joint-sponsorship between a group of Bowen Island families and the St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church.
According to reports in the Bowen Island Undercurrent, Ali arrived with two brothers, one of whom had a spouse and three young children. They joined a fourth brother who came to Canada as a government sponsored refugee four years ago. The family was united and now live in Burnaby.
A member of the Bowen Island sponsorship group that came together to raise thousands of dollars and donate clothing and furniture for the family declined to speak to Postmedia on Wednesday, citing instructions of a lawyer….
Bowen Island resident and SFU professor of criminology Neil Boyd (who was not part of the sponsorship group) said it’s important to remember that at this point, Ali is only alleged to have committed the crime, and that it would be wrong to jump to conclusions about the refugee sponsorship system that brought Ali to Canada.
“It would be inappropriate to say this was a failure in the system. Some people who wanted to do good raised some money to see him reunited with his family.”
Boyd said, “We can’t predict with unfailing accuracy who will or will not commit crime, all we can say about immigration is that people who come to Canada as immigrants have lower crime rates than native-born Canadians.”…

This follows the US based lie, about “illegal immigrants” commit FAR fewer crimes than native born Americans. Some totally disproven “study” continues to be referenced. However, when actual crime statistics, verified, showed that an illegal immigrant is SIXTEEN times more likely to commit murder. Over Twenty-Four times more likely to perpetrate rape … and, SEVENTY-TWO times more likely to perpetrate fraud.

Sponsoring “refugees” … but they cannot sponsor Christians or the rare other minority from war torn lands?
Jesus had a few words that apply to “Christians” like these:
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I
proceeded and came forth from God; I came not of my own accord, but he
sent me. 43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word.
44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s
desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do

These so-called Christians need to ponder these words and think about their actions. No doubt they think they are holier than thou due to their misinterpretation of the Sermon on the Mount, wherein IT IS NOT SAID “show thy love of thy neighbor’s enemy by aiding him and hating thy neighbor if he resists the evil brought upon his house.”
These Fake Christians arm criminals, let them commit crimes with impunity, give them welfare, blame the victims, and then denounce those who are offended as racists and xenophobes.
Have they no shame? Have they no fear of God? … No and no.

You are so right!
Not that I am some super doper person but aiding the enemies of God is something I would never do for money or any other reason. Christ had strong words to say about the adversary while on earth. I can’t imagine that changing and openly aiding those slaughtering Christians and Jews being “compassionate”.

Say, Boyd, how would that comparison look if you just included in your sample population only immigrants from predominently Moslem countries? Suppose you considered only Moslems? Then, suppose you limited the scope to violent crimes.

The government is happy to enlist churches to resettle “refugees” and “migrants”.
The government PAYS them to do this. It is the government that takes them in and the churches plead for MORE because they get money for it and props up their failing churches. It happens in the U.S, Canada and elsewhere because it is a money maker for them!

Thank you felix for your diligence. In any of those reports, did you find what were the declarations of amounts actually spent on the ” refugee ” programs conducted by any of the churches. I’m just wondering how ” worldly/business like ” they have become or is it more just a case of their own delusion.
For the Episcopal church to partner with the ACLU and together go after Trump’s immigration policies is something I did not know about and am very disappointed ; where is their discernment.

I believe you are right Dan. Very sad, but in line with the end times. However, I also believe that Christ has true followers, His bride, and will be coming soon for His church. Prophecy and world events are in accordance now as never before concerning these times. Those in the past who have called for or set dates concerning an ” end “, failed to discern the related prophecies/times and did a disservice to the scriptures.
Yes the stage is set, but it is still developing ; albeit quickly. The definitive development will be the resurrection of the 3rd temple in Jerusalem and the reinstitution of the daily sacrifice. This will mark the onset of the Great Tribulation spoken of in scripture, and quite possibly the rapture of the Christian church. There is a distinction in scripture between His bride, those who come to Christ during the tribulation and the Jews who will realize Christ has been their messiah all along, after the true identity of the Anti-Christ is revealed half way though the 7 year tribulation.
The Rev.12 ,” A great wonder appeared in the heavens….” prophecy fulfilled Sept.2017, and I believe it was a call to the Bride to get ready. It may well have also triggered a timetable, possibly a 42 mon. timetable.
When I look out 3.5 yrs. from that date ( March 2021 ), and consider what may be happening in America at that time, post election/inauguration, a second Trump victory will not be tolerated ( they haven’t even accepted this presidency yet ). America’s sole world power status makes it a significant player/nonplayer in the end times ; she will either complete her transformation into the ” beast of the land ” ( Rev.13 ), or she will be rendered a non-threat to the one who does. An unpleasant future either way.
To say it will be a time of great turmoil would be an understatement, and for a world power to be in such a turmoil, it will not be good news for just about anyone.

Liberal churches have replaced Jesus and the Bible with social justice and the agendas of the Left.
Regrettably and disturbingly, I’ve started to see a trend with more conservative churches where they are starting to welcome the Islamic invaders thinking that they will convert them to Christianity. I guarantee that of the ~1.6 billion Muslims, for every Muslim who converts (or pretends to) there are many millions who won’t. This is a very disappointing and dangerous trend!

That’s an interesting claim, given that Sweden’s Muslim immigrants commit 90+ % of Sweden’s rape cases. However did Canada manage to get such a high percentage of the ‘peaceful’ Muslims?
