I can think of no better reason than this to oppose gun control:
Professor Shoots Himself with .22 Pistol to Protest Donald Trump
A sociology professor at the College of Southern Nevada shot himself in the arm with a .22 pistol in protest of President Donald Trump.
AWR Hawkins, Breitbart, September 12, 2018:
The professor’s wounds are not life-threatening, but he now faces multiple charges for bringing the gun onto campus to carry out the protest.
Story continues below advertisementThe Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the professor, Mark J. Bird, shot himself in a bathroom on campus, then stumbled out, “bleeding, before he collapsed.”
Bird taped a $100 bill to the mirror prior to shooting himself as a tip to the janitor for cleaning up the mess.
Bird was hired by the college in 1993 and is currently a professor emeritus.
The police report on the incident notes that “Bird said he had shot himself in protest of President Donald Trump.”
Bird faces charges for firing a gun in a gun-free zone and also for “carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possessing a dangerous weapon on school property.”

If any of you out there have a kid in that guys classroom….remove them immediately. Or next time he might make his “point” via a mass shooting. That shooter in the Florida school put out tons of warning signs and everyone from the school officials, local law enforcement, and the FBI ignored information……This guy is screaming his intentions….protect your kids!

Ain’t higher education grand? Maybe if or when he returns to his indoctrination duties, he can spin the shooting story to students by tellimg them, Trump is 100% at fault for him shooting himself. Yeah, and in total denial that their non-stop brutal creations desensitize young people to suffering and adds to the worlds misery. I heard a marine sergeant who travels around the States warning teachers that violent entertainment creates a more violent society. He said that one of the purposes of military training is to desensitize soldiers to death and barbarity so they are better able to function on a battlefield. And he noted that the violence filled movies coming out of Hollywood do the same thing but in a glorifying way, making brutality look normal and desirable. Of course the entertainment industry refuses to accept delivery of the truth in typical Lefty fashion.

Permits to carry were intended for weapons of self-defense and not weapons of attack or masochism.
