Before there was President Trump, there was Prime Minister Stephen Harper. While he was Prime Minister of Canada, Israel did not have a better friend then Stephen Harper. Stephen Harper has been a huge advocate for Israel for years. While Canadian PM, he blocked President Obama from using the G8 to attack Israel. Harper spoke out against Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and supported Israel at the UN during Israel’s military operations against Hezbollah in 2006, and Hamas in 2009 and 2014. It was a significant loss for Israel when Stephen Harper lost to the Jihad appeaser Justin Trudeau in 2015.
However, Harper’s loss did not stop him from following his conscience He has continued to passionately supporting Israel in all corners of the world. So it was not a surprise when Harper wrote a scathing Op-Ed in a UK publication, against the despicable anti-Semite and Israel hater Jeremy Corbyn. More should follow the lead (especially Jewish leaders) of Stephen Harper in condemning Corbyn. Jeremy Corbyn is a threat to the UK’s Jewish community to UK-Israel relations, and to the UK’s relations with the United States. Corbyn must be stopped and should never stop foot anywhere near 10 Downing Street.
As published in the UK’s The Telegraph, Lord Trimble and I caution against the rising and blatant anti-Semitism in Europe.
Story continues below advertisementThe rise in antisemitism across Europe should be alarming to all of us, and not just for moral reasons. History shows that the mindset which embraces antisemitism rarely restricts its hatred to the Jewish minority.
Today’s threats against Europe’s Jewish populations are both different and more diverse than those in the past. Far-right extremism is still with us, but now represents only one slice of the problem. Radical, jihadist Islam is now the much larger threat. However, the far-left has also become a substantial source of antisemitism.
Today’s hard-left exhibits a particularly pernicious form of antisemitism – one couched in anti-racism rhetoric to make it socially acceptable in polite company. It is not the Jews, they claim, who are uniquely evil among the nations. It just happens to be Israel, the Jewish state, that is the source of such malevolence.
And so we arrive at the sorry phenomenon that is Jeremy Corbyn – a man who lays wreaths at the graves of anti-Semitic terrorists, and then thinly papers over his actions with nonsensical hair-splitting. Mr Corbyn’s comfort in the company of anti-Semites and other extremists whom he calls “friends” speaks for itself. While he claims to embrace such individuals in the name of “peace,” it is a peace that only ever involves the enemies of the West generally and of the Jewish people specifically.
From the highest levels to the foot soldiers of Corbyn’s Momentum, not a day goes by without another vile display of antisemitism, darkly hinting about an omnipresent Jewish cabal, controlling the media and conspiring for their comrade-leader’s downfall. In the meantime, Mr Corbyn cannot even pretend to take the issue of antisemitism seriously, all the while claiming to be “a life-long anti-racist.”
The naked reality underlying Labour’s refusal to accept the full International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism is that Mr Corbyn and his allies have no intention of stopping their overt attacks on the Jewish state. Perhaps the growing political pressure will force them to do so, but either way their views are now plainly evident.
It is the far-left’s obsession with Israel that concerns us most specifically. Our organization is premised on a simple demand: A fair debate about that country, on the same terms which we extend to debates on all other countries. Today’s antisemitism all too often manifests itself in the singling out of Israel, depicted as a uniquely horrific place, responsible for all the ills of the Middle East, if not the world.
A fair examination would show that nothing could be further from the truth. Israel grapples with some of the most acute challenges the West faces in defending ourselves against jihadist aggression while maintaining modern, open societies. Israel carries this burden admirably, sustained by a democratic polity and a civil judiciary that, in some instances, surpass our own practices. It does this despite having been repeatedly tested under fire in ways our own citizens would simply not tolerate.
It is time to strip away all the rhetoric and rationalizations. Mr Corbyn and his allies hate Israel uniquely and obsessively. Under his leadership, Israel – and thus any Jew daring to identify with it – will face relentless slander. He, and those who share such malignant views, must be exposed and opposed at every opportunity.

The description “Far-Right” is a great misnomer for the successors of Hitler in modern-day Germany. Modern-day German neo-Nazis are demonstrably just as Leftist as Hitler was. So are American, British and Australian neo-Nazis also Leftist in any sense?
They are pre-war Leftists, just as Hitler was. They are a relic in the modern world of thinking that was once common on the Left but no longer is. They are a hangover from the past in every sense. They are antisemitic just as Hitler was. They are racial supremacists just as Hitler was. They are advocates of discipline just as Hitler was. They are advocates of national unity just as Hitler was. They glorify war just as Hitler did etc. And all those things that Hitler advocated were also advocated among the prewar American Left.

Harper stood shoulder to shoulder with the State of Israel, unlike Trudeau and his EU comrades who would toss Israel and world Jewry under the bus. Ironically, when Harper got the toss by ‘try me’, Trudeau, and the US tossed the Democrats a reverse of politics and policies affected both nations and Israel.

Well said Pam and agreed, Harper was awesome and it’s a shame that Canada elected the SJW snowflake we have now in power, he’s basically our Angela Merkel. We’re just waiting for next election in 2019 to boot him out. Hopefully this time the votes swing in the Conservative’s favour. While Scheer is weaker than Harper he’s still far better than any Liberal.

Harper was defeated by Canada’s Media Party not by Turdeau. Canada has no Conservative TV network like Fox, and all the fake, Globalist stations vilified Stephen Harper continuously before the last election. This was sufficient to sway enough voters who are flip-floppers and win the election for Mohammad Castro (Turdeau).

Hell, Scheer even banned the Rebel from their recent convention. So much for freedom of speech when even Scheer has an M-103 mindset. We need a radical shakeup in Canadian politics. He would of course deny it, practicing the Muslim culture of taqiyya. We all know Trudeau attends, preaches and prays in various mosques, some known to be terrorist breeding grounds. What isn’t commonly known is that infidels are specifically not allowed to pray in any mosque, only Muslims. This means Trudeau is a Muslim and openly supports Islamic terrorists.That also means he is working towards the destruction of Canada as a democratic free country. M-103 is just another step added to his appointing radical sharia zealots to his Party and Government. Monsef isn’t even a legal citizen as she lied on her citizenship and migration documents but she sure goes along on quite a few of his overseas holidays.

I have saw a video a while back ( I think it was on Rebel media) which showed Turdeau in a mosque, with his ass in the air repeating words as they are spoken by the Imam here. In the blog which followed a commentator who understood Arabic and Islam said that numb-nuts had just converted to Islam. Turdeau is so dull- witted it is hard to say if he was just being his usual gullible fool self, or actually knew what he was doing. Either way he is the most dangerous leader leader Canada has ever had. Violence will follow in the wake of this anti-white, anti-Christian maniac. The saddest thing of all is that two thirds of Canadians appear to be completely oblivious to the coming destruction he is bringing to this nation.

I remember! I have known that the MSM in Canada was slanted to the left for years,but I had no idea that they had become total Progressive propaganda outlets until the last federal election. They made not even the slightest pretence at journalistic neutrality. That’s why Rebel Media’s description of them as The Media Party fits like a glove. This, along with what you said about the CRTC’s prevention of the dissemination of conservative opinions, leaves me to believe that the entire Canadian government bureaucracy is prejudiced against the Right to the extent that Canadian elections cannot really be considered fair.

I agree. Canada is on it’s way to being the North American equivalent of Sweden. But I believe Turdeau is just a puppet. The man who is really running Canada is his old pal Gerald Butts. Turdeau is just the pretty boy/ face/drama teacher figurehead. He’s got about as much sense as his mother. Butts pulls his strings and drunk sailor Turdeau signs the blank cheques for the coming disaster.

Way before all of that, the UK will plummet into a deep and wide recession due to MASSIVE divestment (Corbyn in power = the end of the UK as a functioning Democracy) and a crippling PR nightmare as the UK will be seen as being taken over by the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’
Add to that growing civil unrest as a growing coalition of Patriotic Brits will AT LAST (hopefully…?) start “nonverbal” resistance…
Add to that political / diplomatic / economic / security / intelligence isolation from Trump’s USA (firmly standing with Israel and its own bedrock principals), Israel (severing intelligence cooperation with Corbyn’s UK leading to a spike of Islamic terror in the streets of the UK) and many other SANE, western oriented nations that will at least re calibrate their bilateral relations with the UK in consideration with the new US / Israel position toward the UK (Germany just out of shame might even be in that camp)
The EU will fully exploit the UK weakness, hammer it in negotiations (the UK will not have any US support as leverage) and Brexit will be effectively neutralized, leading to a tragic outcome of the UK becoming a slave to both the EU AND the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ / the growing Muslim constituency in the UK, this outcome will be the point of no return and the end of UK as a FREE / Western / prosperous / proud Nation

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers recently came out in support of terrorist Palestine and Palestinian “refugees”. There is no such thing as a Palestinian “refugee” unless that person left there between 1947 and 1949.

In the never never world which Corbyn and his cohorts inhabit, there is only one people, one side in this dispute and one point of view “allowed” by the hard fascist left in UK. No matter what the Palestinians do that’s terrorism – the Jews in Israel are always to blame, Palestinians are always faultless.
I cannot explain why in the British press and main stream parties no one points this fact out because if this debate was about treating both sides equally, the Palestinians must be held accountable for everything they’ve done to the inhabitants of Israel over the last 70 years if nothing else, and dare we mention their criminality and corruption to their own people ?

More Canadians than ever have lost trust and confidence in the Canadian media. They stopped being neutral a long time ago. A good example is Marcia what’s her face from CTV. She is so incredibly anti-Trump that I am sure she would have an orgasm right on camera if something were to happen to him. She openly gloats with every negative comment. I don’t trust her comments at all.
