Bostom Interview: John Brennan’s 40-Year Trajectory From Champion of Anti-American Totalitarian Ideologies, To Anti-Trump Putschist

32

Full interview can be heard, and/or downloaded here.

Monday 8/20/2018, I was interviewed by Frank Gaffney regarding my two recent blogs. The more recent essay focused on John Brennan’s longstanding affinity for totalitarianism, including support for American Stalinist leader Gus Hall’s 1976 POTUS candidacy, and the Brezhnev-era Soviet Union, Egyptian Muslim theocratic/pseudo-secular authoritarian rule, and more broadly, Islam’s Sharia-based abnegation of Western freedom. Brennan’s 1980 University of Texas MS thesis rationalized his apologetic for these totalitarian, liberty-crushing ideologies, and the brutally repressive government behaviors they engender. Adopting the Communist argument of “cultural relativity,” and absence of universal standards, Brennan openly rejected Western religious and philosophical constructions of human rights.

During the  interview, we also touched upon my previous blog, which sharply contrasted POTUS Trump’s longstanding commitment to freedom, capitalism, and Anti-Communism, versus the collectivist, to Communist leanings, of a sub-sample of key anti-Trump putschists including Brennan, but also Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele, and James Comey.

Story continues below advertisement

The interview was divided into 4-parts:

(PART ONE): Implications of the background and conduct of John Brennan

(PART TWO): Rising danger of the Red-Green Axis; How Brennan justifies totalitarian ideologies

(PART THREE): Should Brennan be entrusted with access to classified intelligence?; Political warfare technique of deflection

(PART FOUR): Significance of background checks/security clearances

If Trump was SERIOUS, ….Brennan’s head would be hanging from a pike on the White House lawn, after a fair trial for treason of course!

I, also, question Trump’s inaction when it comes to the perfidious Brennan and others. Trump is like an old fighter in the ring taking punch after punch, so far beating the count. He has to start fighting back; he knows the true criminals and traitors are… but chooses to continue being hammered.

I doubt very much that Trump chooses to be hammered. He picks and chooses his battles.
I think he has a full plate of crap to deal with. If you will notice he piles on issue A. There is push back, he goes to issue B and either resolves it or gets push back and then circles back again to issue A and either makes more progress with it or resolves it. That is his pattern. He doesn’t keep banging his head against the wall, doing the same thing and expecting a different result. He will regroup, focus on something else and come back to it trying a different approach. He is getting allot done under the radar too!

As the left continues to get hysterical over these fake crimes and ridiculous investigations, he is busy. How many people heard of RIGHT TO TRY? That is encouraging. Often people are in terminal health situations and BLOCKED from trying experimental drugs not approved by the FDA. If a person wants to live, let them have access and TRY these drugs! They have nothing to lose. Now a patient CAN DO JUST THAT. Try the experimental drug.

I agree in part, Felix; however, his hiring of certain incompetents has come back to bite him big time on the hiney. That is why I question his perhaps, lack of foresight of peoples’ loyalties and intent. We aren’t talking about a few but several, at least. Trump is not above criticism; indeed the never-ending witch hunt is a sinister ruse to usurp his Presidency is glaring but in action before he won the nomination and eventually the Presidency. A leader is only as good as the people with which he surrounds his or herself.

I fear Trump at times believes he is infallible and does not bend an ear to his advisors’ input. No one is a Man for All Seasons or a Renaissance Man, it is rare, an absolute anomaly. There is a time when we all have to take stock of ourselves; the President is not immune to doing so. It is not a condemnation of Trump; he is doing a great job and yes, he has Mueller and other usurpers on his ass and unfairly so; as said, he is not above criticism. I do stand by Trump; he is the only person who can save this nation and perhaps the alleged Western Democracies.

thanks for putting it in much better words than my last comment. Wouldn’t have wasted my time if I’d read your

good one first. At least Trump is still a good learner. Just takes some of us longer than others to realize that a “friend” doesn’t have our best interests at heart, but their own instead.

Don’t know about the rest of your posters who are so critical of President Trump, but personally, have you NEVER had a friend or acquaintance that turned out to be not a true friend and/or acquaintance? I have, as have my children…..Remember, our current President didn’t spend his life as a politician like most of the sheets who are currently in office. Most of them have never known anything but politics – – – that’s what they “learned” in college.

Good post; Indeed, Trump was not a political animal, then tossed his hat into the three ring circus. That in itself is a challenge. However, to criticize the president is not demeaning his efforts but his overview of the ‘asses’ with who he has hired. There is no one on this planet immune to opinions of one’s glitches or strong points. I am certain Trump must look in the mirror some days and say, Hell, that was a cluster **** on my part. We have all done so, yes, in our choice of friends who were anything but friends.

Unlike most, Trump has had the sword of Damocles hanging precariously over his head or the sword of ‘Democratles’ if preferred before winning the Republican nomination. I back him 100%, but insist, he, like any human being, has his flaws. Fewer than those attempting to usurp his presidency.

Actually, to use a phrase from someone else, he has had the sword of the gimmecrats over his head since he decided to run. It is obvious he has flaws unlike most politicians who don’t have an honest bone in their bodies.

I’d like ALL the Obama people that left and anyone else to have their security clearances revoked.
It is under review and I have no reason to doubt that is not happening. I believe more will be revoked.

I was shocked that this is a “tradition” . It’s purpose was to keep others informed and it there was a crisis, have them up to date and pool their knowledge and experience to help resolve a conflict or a problem beyond the transition period. Well, seeing how corrupt and self dealing these people are, that “tradition” needs t change. We don’t have people of good character in position that love our country.

Allowing people to have high level security clearance after they have left office is not a rule or law. It’s a “tradition”. Naturally people like Jason E. Chaffetz , wants a “nonpartisan committee” to look into it and do something – LOL! NONE OF THAT IS NEEDED and he knows that. It would be taking more power away from the President and he knows that too. The swamp wants to control Trump and box him in so he does THEIR biding. It is at the discretion of the PRESIDENT to allow this. The SWAMP makes MONEY off of having that high level security clearance once they have left office. They sit on boards BECAUSE they have inside information and PROFIT from it. So no one in the swamp that has this will want that to stop. Chaffetz is not as clean as he appears…. he is dirty too. That’s a topic for another day. It is VERY corrupt down there. VERY!

I believe after the review, more clearances will be revoked. Ideally I would have liked this to happen yesterday.

He is part of clinton mafia so colluded to go after Trump with fake cases . He is one of the key henchmen who also is involved in bumping off witnessses. A democrat had warned against speaking against Brennan as he is a “dangerous” man ! Most folks ignored it !

Clinton mafia still active after Trump takeover as they kill another witness to email investigation http://tinyurl.com/y8p9cv5l

They know their hold overs in FBI / DOJ /NSC will help them out !

Unless they are totally purged including Left/Liberal judges to keep out their bias …its uphill task to prosecute them.

Mr. Session is genteelly defending the INSTITUTIONS he reveres and the PEOPLE in those gloriously now CORRUPT institutions. In his perverted mind this is honorable. He doesn’t seem to see obvious. He is as frightening as the others in allowing this circus to continue. I think he is being played like a fiddle. I still have trouble believing he is corrupt… I don’t know. He confuses me.

Look into the man’s eyes, he is the benchmark for a sociopath; dead eyes, soulless, and unconscionable. The man is not a a patriotic American; moreover, Brennan plays a large part within the ‘Deep State’, a cabal for sociopaths and traitors.

I agree! Brennan is totally evil.
Like Obama, YES, he is a MUSLIM COVERT and a COMMUNIST.
No wonder Obama loved him. He also wanted to radically transform us.
What shocks me is how we let a person who voted FOR a COMMUNIST be in that position!

It’s no surprise the Deep State has gotten as far as it has – and Trump’s progress has been limited.

As a former State bureaucrat, I am well aware of how difficult it can be for a leader – especially one the Left hates – to get his way in a government bureaucracy. Actually, I think he’s doing remarkably well considering that the Federal bureaucracy from GS12 on up is probably 9:1 in favor of abolishing America and transforming the nation into a Union
of Socialist States of American Slaves.

In order to know what to do to get around this, Trump would have to be a very different fellow. Not someone who is used to winning or convincing people to get a job done. To beat the bureaucracy, you have to think like a vile, Leftist, hateful, evil pig – and the only folks like that who are not Leftists are either the rare ex-Leftist or the far more common victim of Leftists. Trump is neither.

Nor do I think he has ever thought about how to disorganize and rape a corporation and drive it into the ground while firing all of the productive scientists and engineers to make a short term profit on his options.

I have been on the short end of the stick in both cases, and it’s not pretty. Needless to say the drone winners – thanks to their victim cards – are never upset at the ‘leadership.’ And the drone loser always manage to blame the usual suspects – again never blaming the actual ‘leadership.’

It’s amazing how many drones think my skin color forces Libtard bureaucrats or C-level Libtards to do what Libtards do. But that’s not the point.

The point is that Trump does not think like this. He is a Go Getter, Type A, Alpha Male, Who is Not a Victim, which is great, but it also means he has no real understanding of how corrupt the bureaucracy is. And he’s having to learn what to do OJT.

I tend to agree with you. I am grateful we have Trump in there, otherwise we’d be finished as a country.

Also worth considering is that Trump is a business man. Yes there are politics in business but you don’t have staying power if you have the mindset of a POLITICAL POLITICIAN. Political politicians make a living of lying and fooling people. I don’t think Trump anticipated how awful politicians are in that world. Also being new to political politicians,he didn’t have a TRUSTED circle of representative as others did. Reagan was a governor. He had CLOSE trusted and proven allies. Trump had a handful from campaigning and lots of slots to fill and things to get done. As time goes on he is getting that together.

Good post, and I agree with you on all points.

Let me add, IMHO, Trump is doing far, far better than I expected from him. And I expected more from him than any of the other 16 politicians offered in 2016. They knew the system better than he did, but they are/were all low energy or low confidence, timid people looking for a job. Except maybe Dr. Carson.

The fact that Trump is less than perfect is just irrelevant. No one is perfect. He is so much better than anyone we’ve had since Reagan. And he is so much better than the ‘clown’ so many thought he was. He gives me hope every day that the nation has a future, and that all the sacrifices of our patriots and our people will not be in vain …

– and that the hordes of Mordor will be turned back. 😉

your remark “Nor do I think he has ever thought about how to disorganize and rape a corporation and drive it into the ground while firing all of the

Good point. Mittens likely has thought of it. Never certain about the evidence presented that he did it – not to say he didn’t – but I never had the time to find out if the charge was true, and at the time everyone on the Right was defending him including me. … I have to admit voting for Mittens was actually worse than voting for McCain in 2008. Not b/c I think McCain is a better man, but b/c I thought Mittens could drive America into the ground almost as effectively as Obama and more than Bush. Just MHO.

Since I’m not “in the know” about this stuff, all I can do is read and ‘try’ to understand all the sheet that they tell us. To be very honest, I didn’t even bother to vote in that election. (Happen to have a blind spot in regards to the date) Until Trump ran. Then it changed.

I understand. Not sure any of us are “in the know” – what I really know hardly matches reality at all. We live in a world where the Left keeps double books on everything, and everything offered in the media is just the ‘front office.’ The ‘Right’ tries to keep things straight – not counting the Fake Right, of course – but even we have trouble doing it.

It took some time, but I learned long ago – do not believe anything unless it’s been confirmed by real-life experience. That does not always work, but it’s a good place to start.

“Cultural relativity” is NOT a “Communist argument.” It is the social scientists’ framework for studying society without injecting their own cultural biases. It does not mean the scholar rejects “Western values” in his own life. Brennan is as straight-arrow of a Boy Scout as you will ever find. Sorry, I’m not buying the Trump-instigated hatchet job.
