Stock Your Stash-Wedding {for the happy couple}

Spring and Summer would most definitely be deemed the "wedding" months, so it is only fitting that wedding is the theme for this month's Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge! You can read all about it on the Reverse Confetti Blog. I've made two cards for today's challenge!

I went with a "something blue" theme for this particular wedding card. I always like a lot of white, silver or gold, and a hint of color {but not always} when I design my wedding cards. To begin this design, I heat embossed the flowers from the Pattern Blocks stamp set in silver powder onto a white square. I mounted it onto a piece of Stone Cardstock that had been die cut using the Dashed Line Confetti Cuts using foam squares.

I heat embossed the "for the happy couple" sentiment which is from the Lots to Say stamp set in silver onto a strip of vellum. I attached it to the back of the square using scotch tape.

I decided to frame the entire focal panel with some of the beautiful images from the Elegant Florals stamp set. I stamped them in Stone Ink and then die cut them using the coordinating Elegant Florals Confetti Cuts. All of this is added to a 4 by 5 1/4 inch panel of Mist Cardstock and then attached to a white A2 card base. I also added a few rhinestone gems for some added sparkle. I also spritzed it heavily with shimmer spray.

For this second card, I used a lot of the same stamps, as you can see, but they are arranged in a different way. I used the Elegant Florals again, but this time I stamped the floral image multiple times on Stone cardstock to create a background. I used the Geo Panel Confetti Cuts stacked twice to use as a backdrop for the rest of the design elements. I can't stop using it because I love it so much!

I layered the flowers onto a Dashed Line Tag and added it to the card using foam squares. I created a wedding cake using the Candles n' Confetti stamp set as well as the coordinating Confetti Cuts. I think that pink cake stand turned out so cute!

I used the same sentiment embossed in silver on this card as well. A few sparkling clear sequins finish this design off! I hope you all get a chance to join us this month with this fun challenge! Thanks for fluttering by!
