Trump revokes security clearance for treasonous ex-CIA director John Brennan

21

This was long overdue. Obama’s bag man is guilty of treason. He has been working in the cause of our enemies for years.

The Kentucky Senator called John Brennan the most biased, bigoted, unhinged Director of the CIA we’ve ever had, in response to Brennan’s latest attack on President Trump, labeling the Putin summit performance “treasonous.”
“John Brennan started out his adulthood by voting for the Communist Party presidential candidate,” Rand Paul said. “He’s now ending his career by showing himself to be the most biased, bigoted, over-the-top, hyperbolic sort of unhinged director of the CIA we’ve ever had.”

He was Obama’s Luca Brasi (without any of his better qualities), named CIA director for his exemplary work in cleaning up after Obama. If you recall, during the presidential election, I ran a number of stories on the breach of Obama’s passport at the Department of State. Brennan was the CEO of TAC – and also a consultant to the 2008 Obama campaign – when one of its contract employees was accused of improperly accessing the passport files of Obama, prompting an investigation by the State Department. The investigation was focusing on one employee — a contract worker with a company headed by Brennan (more here). You will also recall that the key witness in the presidential passport tampering case was murdered — shot in the head, in his car, in front of his church. The case remains unsolved.

If you recall, Brennan threatened Trump after the election.

FULL STORY: TRUMP REVOKES BRENNAN’S SECURITY CLEARANCE

Trump’s full statement on revoking John Brennan’s security clearance

On Wednesday, President Trump announced he would revoke former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance. Below is the president’s full statement.

FOX News, August 15, 2018:

As the head of the executive branch and Commander in Chief, I have a unique, Constitutional responsibility to protect the Nation’s classified information, including by controlling access to it. Today, in fulfilling that responsibility, I have decided to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Historically, former heads of intelligence and law enforcement agencies have been allowed to retain access to classified information after their Government service so that they can consult with their successors regarding matters about which they may have special insights and as a professional courtesy.

Neither of these justifications supports Mr. Brennan’s continued access to classified information. First, at this point in my Administration, any benefits that senior officials might glean from consultations with Mr. Brennan are now outweighed by the risks posed by his erratic conduct and behavior. Second, that conduct and behavior has tested and far exceeded the limits of any professional courtesy that may have been due to him.

Mr. Brennan has a history that calls into question his objectivity and credibility. In 2014, for example, he denied to Congress that CIA officials under his supervision had improperly accessed the computer files of congressional staffers. He told the Council of Foreign Relations that the CIA would never do such a thing. The CIA’s Inspector General, however, contradicted Mr. Brennan directly, concluding unequivocally that agency officials had indeed improperly accessed congressional staffers’ files. More recently, Mr. Brennan told Congress that the intelligence community did not make use of the so-called Steele Dossier in an assessment regarding the 2016 election, an assertion contradicted by at least two other senior officials in the intelligence community and all of the facts.

FULL STORY: TRUMP REVOKES BRENNAN’S SECURITY CLEARANCE

Additionally, Mr. Brennan has recently leveraged his status as a former high-ranking official with access to highly sensitive information to make a series of unfounded and outrageous allegations – wild outbursts on the internet and television – about this Administration. Mr. Brennan’s lying and recent conduct, characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary, is wholly inconsistent with access to the Nation’s most closely held secrets and facilitates the very aim of our adversaries, which is to sow division and chaos.

More broadly, the issue of Mr. Brennan’s security clearance raises larger questions about the practice of former officials maintaining access to our Nation’s most sensitive secrets long after their time in Government has ended. Such access is particularly inappropriate when former officials have transitioned into highly partisan positions and seek to use real or perceived access to sensitive information to validate their political attacks. Any access granted to our Nation’s secrets should be in furtherance of national, not personal, interests. For this reason, I have also begun to review the more general question of the access to classified information by former Government officials.

As part of this review, I am evaluating action with respect to the following individuals: James Clapper, James Comey, Michael Hayden, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr. Security clearances for those who still have them may be revoked, and those who have already their lost their security clearance may not be able to have it reinstated.

It is for the foregoing reasons that I have exercised my Constitutional authority to deny Mr. Brennan access to classified information, and I will direct appropriate staff of the National Security Council to make the necessary arrangements with the appropriate agencies to implement this determination.

I have NO IDEA why anyone should be allowed a high level security clearance AFTER they have left their position!
Security clearances are given out on a NEED TO KNOW BASIS and then there are degrees on who needs to know what. I thought, prior to this, that anyone who left their position and retired no less, had NO ACCESS TO HIGH LEVEL SECURITY information. This should have been a policy in place for any administration. Brennan should NEVER have been in that position. He is a COMMUNIST turned Muslim. Rand Paul and Cruz voted against him being in that position under Obama.

I’d be interested to see what kind of dealings Brennan has w/the enemies of the free world (i.e. any members in good standing of the muslum OIC or any muslum NGO’s).

He is a leaker to CNN and the liberal media. Take away his clearance and he has less to offer. He is making money off of inside information. Cut him off!

What Trump needs to do is turn the tables. ANYONE with ANY Russia CONTACT should have their security clearance revoked for that reason. Play off the fake Russia Trump collusion crap.

For others like John Kerry, highlight his meeting with Iran and trying to undermine Trump’s policies and getting out of the Iran deal. Kerry was meeting with Iranians. In other words, HIGHLIGHT their traitorous activity for reasons to cut them off – ALL of them.

Throw in Mueller and Comey as GOPers to indicate you’re not “partisan” if they still have high level clearance. Comey goes back to the Arkansas days with the Clinton’s. Neither Comey or Mueller are Republicans. Comey and Muller were MENTORS under Eric Holder when they were JUNIOR PROSECUTORS! Of course we know where Holder stands on issues. What Republican would have anything in common with Eric Holder and Obama?

The list of coming security clearance revocations is missing at least one ignominious name: Samantha Power.
As UN Ambassador she was unmasking American citizens at a rate of three per week in the last months of obamianism.
There’s no bigger traitor than Power, except the African dictator hisseff, the son of Robert Mugabe, Jihad Insane Obola (who there’s been no sign of since he hid behind Biden at the ice cream parlor in an apparent reconnaissance effort to gauge the level public awareness of the height of his high crimes against this country.)
All crimes lead to Obola.

Given the shifting landscape of international intelligence operations, it is more than likely any “expertise” Brennan has to offer the new administration is obsolete. Besides, having Brennan start work is like having two good men quit.

Also, when the National Security Act of 1947 was drawn up under President Truman in reorganizing the structure of government, the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) became the CIA with the strict provision it have NO domestic functions. This was to prevent having a US agency like the Getapo, something Brennan failed to grasp.

Brennan is a convert to Islam. But I can’t believe that any former employee keeps their security clearance after they leave any position. It’s an invitation for blackmail by any enemy of the country. You leave your position you should leave it totally, just like any job. Temporary clearance can be given if ever needed. Does HRC still have top security clearance?
He also committed perjury, more than once and should be held accountable.

Good. Everyone of the clowns from previous administrations should have their security clearance removed. There is no need for them to have access to classified information once they are no longer in an office that they once held.

To me this is all backwards…..every single person having a security clearance should turn that in when they leave their government position….period.
Those who want to keep it should have to file a request and give the reasons they want to keep it. If allowed to keep it they must be instructed on exactly what they can’t do….and with even one violation it is automatically cancelled….permanently.

What about Samantha Powers ? She too was doing the same thing as Susan Rice…..outing Americans….and that wasn’t even her department to be doing that. Plus, she’s the wife of Cass Sunstein….big, big radical Leftist and pals with Obama…..

There are others also should not have security clearance. It’s amazing how many swamp people there are. Another one is Cuomo.

Secret squirrel Muslim, John Brennan. really gets on my nerves In 1975, I was approached by two people, a man and a woman, and they asked me to sign a petition. Being the curious sort I asked what the petition was for. They tol me it was the nominating petition to put the President and Vice President of the Communist party on the ballot. CPUSA leader, Gus Hall was running or President and Angela Davis was running for vice president. I wouldn’t sign the petition. Much later I read the former CIA head, John Brennan, voted for Gus Hall and Angela Davis a year after I would not sign the petition putting the CPUSA leaders on the ballot. Another reason for me to loathe the secrret squirrel Muslim, Brennan and a further rreason to support my President.

Anyone in a position of authority in the private sector upon laving that company loses any and all access to internal company business dealings. So…this “professional courtesy” needs to go away a long time ago. No telling who this guy and others in the past have or has been selling information to.
