Egypt: Muslim mob attack on church encouraged by police promise ‘No church will be allowed here’

20

Largely ignored by mainstream media and Western politicians is the relentless persecution and slaughter of Christians in the Middle East. Christians continue to be slaughtered in Egypt on a regular basis, but the world yawns. The Muslim persecution of Christians in the Middle East has decimated centuries-old communities and has the Christians of Egypt living under constant threat, and all the enemedia ever talks about is islamofauxbia.

There won’t be any reprisals, no cruise missiles, no outrage in the UN.

The carnage brought to us by the religion of peace will continue so long as the root cause is ignored. While the West continues to deny the truth about Islam and the directives within the Quran demanding bloody Jihad, there is no hope of stopping this. The doctrine of Islam is fundamentally violent — period. We can expect no reform, as the core text requires the kuffar to submit or be slain. Allah says Islam is perfected. How can one reform what is perfected?

And Pope Francis will continue to exhort us that Islam is peace, even as Christians continued to be targeted by Muslims in Egypt. One day, the way things are going, they will attack the Vatican, and the Pope will lock himself inside and ponder what he has enabled as the Muslim mob rages outside.

“Egypt: Mob attack encouraged by police promise ‘No church will be allowed here,’” World Watch Monitor, July 17, 2018:

A mob attacked a church in Minya, Egypt, on 13 July protesting against its legalisation and received a police officer’s approval, World Watch Monitor has learnt from local sources.

The only church in Ezbet Sultan Pasha village, where about 20 percent of the population is Christian, was built in September 2016. Apart from masses and prayer meetings, St. Karas the Anchorite Coptic Orthodox Church also held Sunday school classes and housed a nursery.

After a rumour spread in the majority-Muslim village that Copts had applied for the de-facto church’s legalisation, as is required by the August 2016 Law on the Organisation of the Construction of Churches, local Muslims started a demonstration in front of the church after Friday noon prayer on 6 July.

“The protesters were chanting slogans against us [Copts], such as ‘We don’t want a church in our village,’” Hany Farouk, a resident of the village told World Watch Monitor.

“We locked ourselves in our homes during the demonstration because we were afraid that they would attack us. Police didn’t do anything to disperse the demonstrators and didn’t arrest anyone of them.”

Demonstrations continued the following day with no intervention by the police, according to locals.

A week later, 13 July, a bigger mob comprised of residents of Ezbet Sultan Pasha and nearby villages, gathered in front of the church and started pelting it with stones and bricks, along with a house next to it, belonging to a Copt.

“They were shouting ‘Allahu akbar’ [Allah is the greatest] and chanting hostile slogans against Copts, such as: ‘We will not allow any church to exist in our Muslim village’, ‘We will not allow any other prayers to be held in our Muslim village except our prayers,’” Farouk said.

While police did not intervene, one of the officers apparently promised the protesters that no church would be allowed in the village. According to Farouk, this declaration encouraged the protesters who clapped shouting ‘Allahu akbar’. The mob dispersed afterwards….

There are at least approximately 3000 pending applications from churches that still need to be examined by the government commission set up to verify whether they meet legal requirements….

Hey at least the Egyptian Copts have 1 thing in common with the muslims, they hate Jews and Israel just as much. Those that curse Israel will be cursed, and those that bless Israel will be blessed.

A Coptic Christian publicly came out in support of Israel under “moderate” Mubarak. He was imprisoned for doing so.

Some I am sure do support Israel, but the majority do not. In East Jerusalem recently the Coptic Pope and his followers were featured marching against Israel for fakistanian rights, They lend credibility to the world that Islam is inclusive of other faiths just not jews.

Many Arab Christians sadly enough place politics and ethnic nationalism before their religion. Then again, being raised in such an unstable and violent region, outnumbered so badly by the Muslims, perhaps one cannot entirely blame them.

After decades (centuries?) of muslum persecution i’d figure Arab Christians can be forgiven if they suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.

It is long past time for these Arab Christians to change their worldview.

They probably don’t like Islam much, but have to pretend to do so in order so survive, the lambs surrounded by hungry wolves waiting for an excuse to pounce.

I’ve encountered some here in the U.S. and they still share and embrace that same islamo worldview. These Christians are really more like Jeremiah Wright than Robert Jeffress or John Hagee. When you listen to most of these Arab “Christians” safe here in the U.S., they actually sound a lot like Louis Farrakhan.

They’re politics are in line with Obama. Ralph Nader, the Zogbys

and many others are a nasty bunch. Certainly there are some Arab Christians in the U.S. who are conservatives like Brigitte Gabriel, but she represents a small minority. Recall when Ted Cruz was booed and left a meeting of Arab Christians. I guess they are Arab first and foremost.

It is a shame, it is the same with Indians as well. In India today, many young Indians are very conservative and pro-Modi, but most Indian-Americans are extremely liberal.

Egypt was such a strong bastion of Coptic Christianity in ancient times…it was the Arab invasion that destroyed so much of their culture and civilization. May their people stand strong against the darkness that is all around them.

The language of Egypt used to be Coptic, now under muslum rule it’s a crime to teach the Coptic language:

Coptic Language in the Church
The
Coptic language is a universal language used in Coptic churches in
every country. It is derived from ancient Egyptian and uses Greek
letters. Many of the hymns in the liturgy are in Coptic and have been
passed down for several thousand years. The language is used to preserve
Egypt’s original language, which was banned by the Arab invaders, who
ordered Arabic to be used instead. Some examples of these hymns are
Epooro, Ekesmar’oot, Tai Shori, and many more.

I’m amazed wikipedia, one of the world’s pre-eminent islamic propaganda outlets cited this.

No mosques will be allowed in heaven! Only churches! Or whatever the places are called where Jesus/God is worshipped! Because there will be no devil worship in heaven. All those people can go to hell for that, where there will also be only mosques.
