Texas Islamophobia ‘HATE CRIME’ FAKED: Waiter MADE UP ‘we don’t tip terrorist’ note on check that garnered world headlines

44

The problem, of course, is this kind of lie, this kind of vicious slander, is encouraged by the media and the culture. Lie about an islamophobia incident and you will be celebrated and rewarded (think clock boy) with incredible press coverage and untold good will and money.  This crime is encouraged to give legs to the myth of Islamophobia and “racism” — further absurdity, Islam is not a race. This propaganda subverts and distracts, which is crucial to silencing criticism of jihad (Islamic terrorism) and sharia.

In this case, Khalil Cavil, a 20-year-old server for Saltgrass Steak House in Odessa, Texas, recently made international headlines after posting a picture of a note left by a customer stating “we don’t tip terrorist,” with a circle around his name.

The customer was banned from Saltgrass Streak House and the community, as well as people across the country, rallied behind Cavil after the note went viral.

Story continues below advertisement

However, despite the national outrage and Saltgrass’s efforts to ban the customer who allegedly left the note, Cavil, admitted to the Odessa American that he had written the note himself, after it surfaced that the whole story was a hoax.

The story unfolded on July 16 after Cavil uploaded a picture of the receipt to Facebook. On the bill, Cavil’s name was circled and the words, “we don’t tip terrorist,” were written at the top.

In a now-deleted post, he wrote: “I share this because I want people to understand that this racism, and this hatred still exists. Although, this is nothing new, it is still something that will test your faith.” Cavil’s Facebook page also appears to have been deleted.

The terror-tied Hamas organization, CAIR, went to work immediately — and their lapdogs in the press scribbled furiously.

Khalil Cavil claimed the patron stiffed him on a $108 meal and instead wrote the hateful message.

A Texas restaurant server cooked up a steaming-hot hoax when he claimed a racist patron stiffed him and wrote “We don’t tip terrorist” on their bill, according to a new report.

“After further investigation, we have learned that our employee fabricated the entire story,” Saltgrass Steak House COO Terry Turney said Monday in a statement to the Odessa American newspaper.

Heavy:

Cavil’s confession to the Odessa American follows a statement issued by Terry Turney, COO of Saltgrass, who has already reached out to the customer who was banned to invite them back to dine for free.

“After further investigation, we have learned that our employee fabricated the entire story. The customer has been contacted and invited back to our restaurant to dine on us,” the statement read. “Racism of any form is intolerable, and we will always act swiftly should it occur in any of our establishments. Falsely accusing someone of racism is equaling disturbing.”

Cavil is no longer employed at Saltgrass, although the company declined to specifically say if he was fired.

“All I can say is he’s no longer with the company,” spokeswoman Colleen Wagner told the Washington Post.

Cavil Had Received Money From People Around The Country Who Sympathized With His Ordeal

After sharing his post on Facebook, Cavil had received monetary donations, which he told the newspaper is now being returned, according to CBS News.

After Cavil’s story went viral, he had many supporters on Facebook who sent him money. The donations totaled up to about $1,000, but he said all that money is being processed to be returned.

“All money is being processed and being return[ed],” Cavil told the OA. “Most all of it has been returned.”

4. Twitter Initially Rallied Behind Cavil After News Broke of the Terrorist Comment, But Quickly Turned Against Him After He Admitted to Writing the Note Himself

Twitter rallied behind Cavil after he initially posted the receipt, calling out the alleged non-tipper for being a racist. Users flooded social media with support for Cavil and disgust for the person accused of leaving the note.

“OUTRAGEOUS. CHEAP. RACISTS,” Twitter user Zahra Billoo wrote. “The customers at this restaurant ate $100+ in food and then wrote “We Don’t Tip Terrorist” on the receipt after seeing the waiter, Khalil Cavil’s, name on it. He’s Christian BTW.”

Many users spoke of the impact of Islamophobia and xenophobic attitudes and the effects such racist thinking has on American society today.

“Khalil was subjected to hate speech because of the color of his skin. We must stop the Islamophobia & xenophobia. Share Khalil’s story,” user Simar wrote on Twitter.

Another supposed Islamophobic crime against Muslims to validate their never-ending victimhood. Needless to say, it garnered worldwide attention as intended, but as always it was a vile ruse by the alleged victim. Cavil whose creative bigotry of this Islamophobic fakery did not get a slap on the wrist. His job went south but he, unlike the so-called customer and alleged Islamophobe, the conjurer of hatred is walking about likely trying another sleight of hand or mouth in the name of Islam.

Once again, the world finds itself duped by endless faked Islamophobe attacks. From the inner-sanctum of governments, law enforcement, and the gullible judiciary. Perhaps Muslims should read the parable “The Boy Who Cried, Wolf.” Then again, when one is possessed by an inherent, genetic predisposition to lie, this fakery will continue.

How much of the supposed $1000.00 (plus) has/actually will be returned? I’m estimating, somewhere in the neighborhood of a nickel.

Well, he can’t return it. He has to use it now for relocation expenses to get him to Hollywood. He’s going to launch his “career” there.

Besides not working for this company was he CHARGED with something?
He fabricated a politically incorrect crime. Shouldn’t he be charged with something?
He defrauded people with a LIE. Isn’t that a crime?

The PC D.A can’t find it in himself to bring charges against the confused moslem.
No doubt, he was prepared to charge the ‘racist’ customers with a federal hate crime.

Or it may be because he never filed a false police report, meaning a crime can’t be charged.

Thanks.

We’re going to cross this place off our dining list. I’d hate to dine and be accused of a ‘hate crime’ by a disgruntle server.

If you can contact the restaurant anonymously and express your feelings to them it’ll have that much more of an effect — perhaps from a payphone.

You better be careful about this. Muslims are tops when it comes to manipulation and throwing around the Islamophobia charge. If the company does anything to this guy, they will be sued and this loser will be rewarded with a nice CAIR-sponsored shake down $ettlement.

A free meal is not enough for the hurt and aggravation the patron experienced. This young man should apologize truthfully to the customer, and make his peace with God. It is good that he told the truth about it.
This is sad. It is shameful. Frenzied behavior, waiting to pounce on whatever shall bolster their narrative, I hope the progressives and the various media venues will settle themselves down.

Oh please. The young man said “I am sorry and am seeking the help that I need.” So he is saying it isn’t my fault I have ‘problems’. YUCK. This is the classic narcissist.

Muslims always win and are masters at turning themselves into victims. They slaughter 3000 people on 9/11 and they get us fighting Islamophobia!

These customers would have been branded with a scarlet letter. Terminated from their place of employment and forced to move.

A ‘free meal’ isn’t just compensation.

In Merry ‘O England, the customer would have been terminated from his job, ( recently, Brit firefighter of 20 or 30 yrs. made a comment on line about Tommy Robinson. Two days later, gets a call – canned for some questionable on-line comments ). I would like to hear if these people were harassed before this hoax was exposed

My definition of chutzpah: the restaurant apologized to the couple and offered them A FREE MEAL.

They should go there and have a free and leisurely meal while they sip drinks and talk with their lawyers about some REAL compensation.

Since I no longer read the cheap rags that pass for newspapers out here in West Texas, I first heard about this yesterday on the radio. Saltgrass invited the offended customer back but they will be lucky if he does not invite them to court to answer the civil suit he could file and win.

The only reason I buy a newspaper anymore thses days is for the crossword puzzle and the obituaries, and I’m beginning to question why they see fit to drag the dead into it.

Achmed Mohandjob

I gave up on that. I used to check the obituaries to see if I was still alive. However, with the level of poor reporting and outright published lies, I determined that it would probably be “fake news”.

This ‘incident’ was blamed on toxic atmosphere created by President Trump.

This liar destroyed the reputation of the innocent customers. No doubt , someone dug up their names and blasted them across the internet. The owner should have investigated the allegation prior to banning them from the restaurant. If I were them, I’d be reluctant to eat there again.

The lying ‘victim’ will walk down the street and get a job at another eatery. Nothing will happen to him.

caliroxanne

Nothing will happen to him??? Actually he will turn himself into the real victim somehow and will end up profiting from this stunt. Muslims always win. They cleverly and successfully manipulate everything so as to always turn themselves into the victims.

I could get money for making up a story ? Well now. Fasten yor seatbelts. My dear wife recently had her knee replaced(true). Physical therapy every other day or so,much swelling&pain. But seems to getting better. At Hospital, when the 1st visit of a therapist occurred, she noticed a problem right away. The Doctor had really messed up……..he installed the artificial knee backwards. her leg bent the wrong way. To avoid lawsuits,he has offered to make her other leg the same. We figure if she wears long dress,no one will notice. Right? If she tries to sit normally, her legs go up. So, she has to step on to a chair seat and sit down with her knees bent behind her. Kind of like a big chicken. I see a money opportunity in that she can get a job as big bird,or an NFL mascot. Bad part of this story, I told some folks at church (all of them) the same story. My wife hasn`t been able to attend church since the operation. Now,I`m worried that when she does go,someone will tell her. I didn`t think this thru. (true). Cash only,no credit cards or checks accepted. Thank you .

Somehow I missed this story till just now. Isn’t this fraud or intent to defraud? He garnered money under false pretenses. He should at least be picking up litter along side the road and spending his weekends in jail at the very least. You can’t sue (civil) him becasue he has nothing to sue for. Maybe a good ole ass whoopin would do.

The libs will rally around this loser. Even though this episode was fake (as all Pam Geller readers knew it was), it still represents the very real problem and crisis of Islamophobia. This poor guy was so overwhelmed by all the islamophobic injustices that are so prevalent in America, that he just didn’t know how to channel his pain so it manifested itself through him expressing the unbearable pain, suffering and injustice by writing the comment on the receipt. Just because he faked this act of Islamophobia, it by no means undermines, belittles or diminishes the very real hate experienced by Muslims every second of every day in this evil, racist and Islamophobic country. This episode was a fictionalized representation of the very real problem of Islamophobia. As always, he is the real victim here. (sarcism)

If lying was a crime, everyone would be in jail, because we all have lied at one time or another. Really, how stupid would you be to tip this guy because he claimed he was stiffed. Every server has been stiffed, sometimes fairly for unsat service and sometimes for whatever reason. Tipping is voluntary. And everyone is entirely within their rights to not tip. You are under no obligation to be fair. Do what you think is right. That’s freedom.

That the restaurant reacted so quickly based on such flimsy proof, to ban this customer and basically let their employee run the customer’s name through the mud, and then would only withdraw the ban and offer the customer a free meal, hardly suffices for the damage that was done to the customer. They would pay at least a few thousand, or the customer should sue. He/she has a strong case. Maybe they will verify facts next time before they ban anyone! Personally, I would take only a large sum of cash and reject the free meal as a settlement, and never patronize any of their restaurants again. They are like sour grapes!
