Nunes: DOJ, FBI ‘banking’ on Republicans losing in midterms to take heat off

The timing of the Justice Department’s indictment of 12 Russian intelligence agents last week was “very hard to believe,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said on “Hannity” Wednesday.
Story continues below advertisementA federal grand jury on Friday indicted the agents for allegedly hacking emails from the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic Party during the 2016 election — just days before Trump’s one-on-one meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland.
The indictment also dropped shortly after House Republicans publicly questioned FBI agent Peter Strzok for the first time, and held a private meeting with former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.
The hearing yielded several new revelations, including that Strzok felt “significant regret” for his numerous anti-Trump text messages and that Strzok maintained a top secret security clearance, despite Attorney General Jeff Sessions earlier saying he believed Strzok’s security credentials had been revoked.
“You might give them the benefit of the doubt, but why does this always happen?” Nunes, R-Calif., asked. “Every time something happens on one side where we find out a new revelation about what appears to be real problems in the FBI and DOJ with this investigation, all of a sudden, they drop an indictment.”
But FBI Director Christopher Wray said Wednesday night at a forum in Aspen, Colorado: “I’m going to let the indictment speak for itself.” He also defended Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, saying, “I think it is a professional investigation conducted by a man I’ve known to be a straight shooter.”
Panel debate the effects of Russian interference on ‘Fox News @ Night.’Asked by Sean Hannity whether the FBI and DOJ were “stonewalling” congressional investigators in the hopes that Democrats would take control of the House in November, Nunes suggested that might be a possibility.
“It’s the oldest trick in the book,” Nunes said. “We are getting a very slow snail-pace cooperation that is clearly designed to wait until next week when Congress adjourns.
“I have news for them. They are still going to have to come in and give depositions,” Nunes added. “They may think they are not going to, but they are going to be coming in and getting depositions throughout the summer.”
He added: “They would love to see Republicans lose. I hate to say that, but I have to believe that the Department of Justice and FBI, the people at leadership, they are banking on a loss by the Republicans in the fall.”
If Democrats take over the House in November, “they’re going to drop all of this investigation — they’re not going to do anything on this investigation,” Nunes charged.

The Democrats’ and its conspirators’ hostile and sinister plot thickens. Undoubtedly, this perfidious conspiracy is nothing new and has brewed over the past two or more years; since Trump ran for the Republican candidacy and winning the election. The nation is on a perilous slope where the inner-workings of the government and its agencies are no more than subversives. The so-called toxic swamp overrun with traitors, not only the Democrats and its confederacy but Republicans whose endeavor, from day one, was usurping President Trump. Trump is walking through a minefield set by the mentioned traitors, not to exclude the MSM and others of the same volition.

Frankly we wouldn’t need to have elections any more. We’d just be going through the motions. That was the whole idea behind weaponizing these government arms. Look what Obama did to the IRS with Louis Learner leading the EXAM charge. So what did Sessions do about that? Made them say they were sorry and wouldn’t do it anymore. OUTRAGEOUS!

In many ways we are there now, and have been for some time. 48% of the American electorate would vote for either Hillary or some other Demoncratic/leftist candidate for president without batting an eyelash. This does not speak well for the average, non-discerning American voter, locked into lock-step politics (“my dad was a demoncrat. so am I!”) without giving a thought that actions have consequences..

…all the more reason why we all must actively get out the vote that will overwhelm these socialist, wrongheaded liberals. We must see to the election of only those who support the Trump agenda that is “making America great.” To not take what action is necessary to get out that vote, will have major negative consequences. The Democrats have no reasonable policy ideas. They would move this country to the abyss, and only the forward thinking that is the Trump approach to reality will save us from a downfall. I wouldn’t hold my breath. Democrats are pure evil. Russia’s actions or lack thereof had nothing to do with voting for Trump. It had everything to do with hatred for violent, evil bullies and respect for good, clean, decent, law abiding people and Christian values. The FBI may be counting the days it exists. At this rate the public will lose all it’s faith in them. The good, clean, law abiding public. Support for the Democrats is support for baby murdering, law breaking, heterophobic garbage.

This brings up a question that has dogged me for a while: When Obhammud told Russian Foreign Minister Mevedev to tell “Vlad” that “I will have more flexibility after my election.”, how was he so damn sure he would win? Elections, like sports contests, are supposed to be decided on the field of play.

Russia had NO INFLUENCE on our election otherwise HILLARY would have won. We also “meddle” in other country elections. Obama tried to get Netanyahu out. Turkey has a hardliner in there and so does Kenya and other countries. Obama wanted hardcore MUSLIMS in there and Christians are being slaughtered in Africa.

I remember an old story about the colonist having an Indian tribe constantly harassing them to the point it almost became unlivable. The mayor decided to go after the chief. Well, they finally got him and the Mayor chopped his head off and put his head on a stake in front of the village then went after the other Inidans and decimated them all.
He left his head up there to ROT. That is how much HATRED the mayor had for this Indian. People began to complain about the odor.
The result was PEACE and prosperity as the Indians were no longer a danger to the colonist.
So, if you want the same thing you must get rid of the Demoncraps and RINOS – COMPLETELY!! Not one left standing. I’m not calling for their heads to be chopped off. There is nothing up there anyway.

Wray may believe Mueller is a straight straighter, but there is evidence to point to that says he is not. He was the Director of the FBI when the Uranium deal with Russia was going down and when Hillary spirited the Russians out of the country who were involved in Mueller’s “Ghost” investigation.

Harvard’s Professor Alan has exposed Robert Mueller as a “zealot” and a man who will stop at nothing when he gets his teeth into something. In Massachusetts, Dershowitz revealed on tv, Mueller left two men in prison for a lengthy period while knowing they were innocent. It’s a pity one of his innocent victims doesn’t take him out with a smashing sniper’s bullet.

Totally agree, but will point out the James Comey was behind the whole thing of creating the Mueller Special Counsel. It was he who went to Rosenstein and then recommended that Mueller be appointed. In my estimation he too should ‘collect’ a 50mm sniper bullet but in dum-dum form to do a ‘smashing’ job. Imagine the impression it would make on the left when its disgusting, crooked, heroes were found literally torn apart.

It’s now evident that FBI Director, Christopher Wray was a poor choice, is a clueless and insufficiently strong (or just plain weak) man who does not have the character, intelligence and moral impulse to clean up this thorough subverted, corrupt and disgusting FBI.
