Thousands of Americans took to the streets on Saturday to protest the immigration policies of the Trump administration. The event was called “Families Belong Together,” and the participants, such a compassionate and welcoming group, proudly marched in over 600 cities demanding the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. Organizers even placed several children before the podium to condemn President Trump’s “misguided” zero tolerance immigration policy. Too bad they don’t really understand what they are asking for.
Last week, Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who campaigned on the need to abolish ICE, came out of nowhere to defeat ten-term Congressman Joe Crowley in the Democratic primary. Since then, many on the left have joined this fight, including Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), New York City Mayor Bill DiBlasio, and over 20 House Democrats.
One protestor interviewed by Fox News said that because their prior efforts had already led to President Trump’s executive order to keep families together, they plan to maintain pressure through the midterm elections. Sounds like this is about far more than their concern for children becoming separated from their parents.

“We’re here because there are parents out there who can’t sing lullabies to their kids, so we’re going to sing on their behalf until they can sing together,” Tony-winning actor Lin-Manuel Miranda told a crowd in Washington.
Activists carried signs saying, “No one chooses to be a refuge, but you can choose not to be a d**k” (okay) and “Keep the kids, deport the racists” (us). Another said, “I am sick and tired of being sick and tired” (an AA slogan). And, of course, there were signs referring to Melania Trump’s green jacket, “I Really Don’t Care. Do U?”
What are the protestors really asking for? And why didn’t they protest during the Clinton administration, which enacted the parent/child separation laws or during the Obama administration, which enforced the laws?
It’s likely that none of the bleeding heart liberals participating in the protests to abolish ICE are offering any solutions because most have no clue about what really happens at the border or what the consequences of the agency’s abolition would be for America.
Tucker Carlson said that neither Ocasio-Cortez, nor Gillibrand, nor fellow ICE abolition supporters Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio (D), are thinking about what the effect of that move might be.
Carlson said “the left knows if we abolish ICE borders become irrelevant” and that dozens of American cities could begin resembling cities like Tijuana, Mexico, and that “our border will become irrelevant.”
He said that abolishing ICE is a “radical position” and that it is becoming the “new normal on the left.”

Border patrol agent Hector Garza spoke to Fox Business’ Neil Cavuto and said, “some of the separations are likely to continue, despite the executive order, because some of the children aren’t related to the adults purporting to be their parents.”
Some cartels, he said, will sneak across the border by pretending to be families.
“Many times they don’t have any kind of identification,” he said. “They have their names confused. The kid won’t even recognize who the adult is.”
Each day, agents confiscate mass amounts of drugs along the border — drugs that could kill people in the U.S., he said. “They’re focusing on this issue with families, but they’re not focusing on the fentanyl, the cocaine and all these dangerous drugs that are killing our kids in this country,” he said. “Those are the drugs we need to stop.”
Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway spoke to Laura Ingraham. “Last year, 33,000 criminal aliens were arrested, who committed all kinds of crimes, it would be mind numbing to your audience.”
“They also seized over 2400 pounds of fentanyl. That’s enough fentanyl to kill every American…Do they really understand what they are asking for? It spans the spectrum from the ignorant to the irrational…some of them are really calling for anarchy over authority. They can’t have it both ways.”
When a parent gets arrested in the US, they are separated from their children. Why has no one ever protested that? None of the immigration laws have changed since Obama left office. So what is the reason for the sudden backlash?
Desperate to win back control of the House in November, Democrats are politicizing anything and everything they can.
On Friday, a group of House Democrats wrote a letter to the Inspector Generals of the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security and Health and Human Services requesting an investigation into
the Trump Administration’s “zero tolerance” policy – as well as its policy of separating children from their parents at the border and the partial reversal of these policies through President Trump’s Executive Order on June 20, 2018.
RedState’s Alex Parker wrote an interesting post about this latest attempt by Democrats to blame President Trump for laws that were enacted by prior administrations.
Trump hopes Democrats continue campaigning on this issue, because they will be “beaten so badly.”

Over the years, I have known many alchoholics. Hard core heavy drinkers, many of whom were quite successful; although, they pounded down a fifth of whiskey a day. I’ve known many the functional druggy …. stoners and coke heads … and many were self-made millionaires. I have yet to meet ONE moslem that is worthy of carrying their jockstraps. To place moslems in the same category as successful, wealthy human beings …. Does that make you one of the “many moderate and peace loving” moslems type?

Those championing the dismantling of ICE are in the same group as those that speak of all of the “moderate and peace loving” moslems, such as our one woman goon squad. They are living proof of their own stupidity. ICE does not separate families at the border. That is done by US Border Patrol. Same blithering idiots with an intellect FAR below that of an aphid.

Obama has packed every institution with his minions. An employee who tries to do his job is likely to find himself working at Walmart. As I know both as a witness and a target of such ‘pressure.’ No one can bring charges at this time against these ‘parents’ – if they even are the parents – if the ‘kids’ are even kids – because of the Swamp. We have heard rumors of the Border Patrol and ICE continuing to try to do their jobs as best they can.
But nothing will work as it should until Trump is allowed to do his job, and drain the Swamp.

It’s not just in that issue that our children have effectively become unwanted and superfluous in today’s post-Christian, post-American society, the human equivalent of a Birkin bag. These same leftists also support abortion on demand and a Wild West approach to abortion regulation (i.e. none at all) – which has led to a situation where deaths now outnumber births amongst whites in 26 states, with the white population in America actually DWINDLING. And no doubt the combination of abortion, artificial birth control, and the promotion of homosexuality and transgenderism has all played a role in this. There should be a counter slogan – “ABOLISH ABORTION – NOT ICE.” Combine the abortion issue with this militant “open borders” policy and it equals POPULATION REPLACEMENT – which is right up there with all else insidious that Soros and his ilk have been scheming.

Anyone who has read the John Hopkins University Hospital findings on transgenderism – after their 40 years of dealing with transgenderism – knows that you are right and that this is “a mental disorder that requires sympathetic treatment”. These transgender promoters are really evil people, the court judges who acquiesce and separate children from good parents just as evil and rotten. And this is America, not Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany!

What can be expected of them – they have been educated by socialists, communists, muslim apologists, and haters of all that is the American dream. Those same traitorous people have been allowed to do so because only the ‘crazies, hated patriots, and deplorables’ have stood up and given the alarm. It started with the Vietnam protesters, was reinforced by the radicals coming back from Canada (they should have never been allowed back into the U.S.) and those who see socialism/communism not as a failed forms of government but as a True Religion.
Not only that, the parents who knew well what was happening either colluded with the system or just ignored what they saw happening. What the idiots do not understand is that this “illegal immigration acceptance” means one thing only: Criminals come to the USA without visas, without permissions, and it is a ONE WAY DIRECTION. You cannot jump over to any other country and expect them to accept you. It simply does not happen. Sure, EU is doing that, but if you went to the EU from the USA and admitted you were a citizen here, you’d be deported so fast it would make your head spin. Count on it.

If ICE were abolished, one could simply have the US Army and Marines take over their roles at the border and points of entry at the physical border (posse comitatus does not apply at the border). As for airports, seaports, and enforcement of customs duties, a new policing service could assume their role, with customs duties returned to the Treasury Department. Abolishing ICE alone doesn’t make the USA less safe if there is a replacement.
