Overnight, IDF Delivers Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Displaced Syrians on Golan Heights

There will be no coverage on this from a media hellbent on demonizing the Jews. Nor will they mention that the Muslim world does virtually nothing during these crises, takes in no refugees, provides no assistance but blames the West for all the ills of their society. Thankless, indeed, but it is of no import. The Jews will continue to heal the world. It’s not about credit. It’s about goodness and humanity — Jewish values.

IDF Overnight Operation Delivered Humanitarian Aid to Thousands of Displaced Syrians

David Israel, Jewish Press, June 29.2018:

About 300 tents, 13 tons of food, 15 tons of baby food, three pallets of medical equipment and medicine, and 30 tons of clothing and footwear were transferred.

The IDF Good Neighbor unit delivered humanitarian aid overnight Friday to fleeing Syrians in the tent camps in the southern and central Syrian Golan Heights. About 300 tents, 13 tons of food, 15 tons of baby food, three pallets of medical equipment and medicine, and 30 tons of clothing and footwear were transferred in an operation that lasted four hours.

In recent days, there has been a doubling of the number of Syrians staying in DP tent camps on the Syrian-Israeli border following the recent campaign by the regime army with support from the Russian contingency inside Syria against the rebel forces on the Golan Heights.

These camps are located near the Syria-Israel border, where several thousand Syrians have been living in poor conditions without access to water, electricity, food or basic necessities. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that since the start of the Assad army and Putin air force offensive in Daraa more than a week ago, more than 120,000 people have fled their homes.

Russian warplanes reportedly bombed five hospitals to the ground in rebel held areas around Daraa. The Observatory for Human Rights reported that overnight Friday Russian warplanes carried out intensive raids on the towns east and west of Daraa, along with helicopters dropping explosive barrels on civilian neighborhoods in Daraa city. This bombardment, many hours after a ceasefire had begun, coincided with ground-to-ground rockets of the Syrian army fired at the towns east of Daraa countryside, together with heavy shelling by the regime armored corps.

The IDF said it was monitoring developments in southern Syria and preparing for a variety of scenarios, including the continued provision of humanitarian aid to the fleeing Syrians. However, the IDF stressed that it has no plan to permit the passage of displaced Syrians into Israeli territory.

Hundreds of new tents were seen in the DP camps, and there is heavy traffic of trucks carrying people from the fighting in Daraa.

A resident of Quneitra in Syria Israel’s Channel 1: “The humanitarian situation is very difficult, there are about 200,000 displaced people who make their way to the border with Israel and the border with Jordan, but the borders are completely closed. The local councils help displaced people set up camps.”

Israel and Syria should sign a peace treaty…they did that with Egypt and Jordan after all.

Hmmm, what peace treaty with Jordan? Furthermore, in the 1980’s Jordan harbored PLO camps, camps that were used to train/house/equip the PLO. The PLO cross-border raids into Israel eventually ramped up to such a level that Israel had to invade Jordan to put a stop to them.

The Christian genocide in Ottoman Turkey lasted for 10 years — from 1913 to 1923 and targeted Armenian, Greek, Assyrian and other Christians. It resulted in the annihilation of around three million people. Sadly, Muslim aggression continues.

Must have been a “top-secret” operation because I haven’t seen it mentioned on any media! Israel acting compassionately? Spike THAT story!!
And Let’s see now if the genuinely needy throw away aid and rations because it has a cross or a Star of David marked on the packaging.
I’m thinking of those hordes of young army aged male muslims chucking water and care packages on the tracks at the Austrian railway platform and yesterday’s story (on here) about the red cross packages containing tracksuit, T-shirt, socks and underwear given to the “desperate” refugees … who again threw them all in the trash because of their hatred of the KUFFAR’s red cross. My suspicion is that properly desperate people don’t have the luxury of refusing aid, wherever it comes from.

The IDF sends over 13 tons of food and they get rockets, molotov cocktails and suicide bombers in return. Oh yeah, that’s a fair trade…..not!

Pound Sand !!! Get your head out of the sand and learn of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire after WW I and the British Mandate for the distribution of lands,. The Brits SCREWED Israel out of the land they were to get and gave almost all of it to the Arabs. Do some homework before you show your antisemitism.

He doesn’t care about truth or facts. He’s an antisemitic Israel-hating Muslim (redundant, I know) that regularly trolls here. Don’t give him the time of day.

Hay libtard, there was war, started by Syria if you remember, and Israel is more then willing to return the land it captured, in return for security agreements.

Pamela, thank you for showing the profound humanity of the Israelis, even if the mainstream media absolutely refuses to highlight stories such as these.

You must realize it won’t be appreciated and that is one reason the left didn’t report it, anyway.

Moslems and Arabs missed a huge propaganda coup. Imagine if they did that? The left would go BONKERS and blame Israel for causing the crysis.

They never cover the humanitarian efforts of Israel much like they don’t cover Trumps successes. If they did it would destroy their narrative.

The U.N. Human Rights council will probably condemn Israel for trying to help the displaced Syrians. They will not blame Russia, Iran, or Syria for their actions which led to the displacement and deaths. May G-d bless Israel, and keep it safe from harm.
