Judge refuses to dismiss mom’s lawsuit against public school for children’s lessons proselytizing for Islam, promoting conversion to Islam

163

Good news. There should be no proselytizing for any religion in public schools, let alone one that calls for our destruction. These pubic school courses teaching the shahada, the five pillars of Islam and other promotions of Islam (dawah) are a violation of the establishment clause. They are not teaching similar religious instruction for Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Bahai, Zoroastrian, Buddhism et al. It’s a society sickness — this prostrating before Islam.

Chatham schools in New Jersey are doing just that — proselytizing for Islam and using materials that “call to the children” to convert. There is no study of Islamic history and its 1,400 years of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements.

New Jersey mom Libby Hilsenrath is suing the Chatham School District and Board of Education because her son was  required to accept lessons and homework assignments in his seventh-grade World Cultures and Geography class that contained “religious teachings of Islam presented, not as beliefs, but as facts.”

Story continues below advertisement

Hilsenrath particularly objected to an assignment to view what she described as a “conversion video” posted on YouTube that she claims is “an explicit and direct call to the children for conversion to the religion of Islam.”

“This conversion video, replete with biased, chastising statements encouraging the students at Chatham Middle School, including (her son), to follow the Quran and become Muslim, concluded with a direct and explicit call for the children to convert to Islam,” she alleges in thecomplaint. The video, the complaint reads, ended with: ‘May God help us all find the true faith, Islam. Ameen.”

“This ruling comes as no surprise, said Kate Oliveri, an attorney for the Thomas More Law Center who is handling the case. “The motion to dismiss was a further attempt by the school district to bully and silence Mrs. Hilsenrath. The school district ignored the legal standard and ignored the facts, attempting instead to fool the judge with a poor attempt at sophistry.”

This disgusting headline by NY.com is indicative of what we are up against by leftist authoritarians.

Mom says, N.J. school tried to make my kid Muslim. Judge says, Go to court.

A federal judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a Chatham mother who says the school district forced her son to watch Islamic conversion videos and ignored the study of Christianity and Judaism.

Libby Hilsenrath filed the lawsuit, on behalf of her child (identified as C.H. in the suit), against the Chatham School District and Board of Education, as well as the superintendent, assistant superintendent, middle school principal, Social Studies supervisor, and two Social Studies teachers.

Judge Kevin McNulty said in the decision, on a motion filed by the school district’s attorney to dismiss the lawsuit, that the “untested” scenario merits further exploration.

“As a lawsuit, this matter may present controversial issues,” McNulty said in the 9-page opinion issued June 13. “As a motion to dismiss, it does not. There will be opportunity enough to consider the substantive issues when evidence has been developed in discovery and the facts have been developed.”

McNulty also advised the two sides to talk about reducing the number of defendants in the case.

McNulty also advised the two sides to talk about reducing the number of defendants in the case.

“They may wish to focus in particular on the necessity, and the pedagogical ramifications, of retaining the two defendants who are middle school social studies teachers,” the judge wrote.

An attorney for the Chatham School District did not return a call for comment.

The Thomas More Law Center is a national, non-profit conservative Christian law firm based in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Hilsenrath filed the lawsuit in January on behalf of her then-12-year-old son who was taking a World Cultures and Geography class at Chatham Middle School during the 2016-2017 school year. The boy was forced to watch two videos and do a worksheet that promote and advance the Islamic religion under the threat of lower grades, she alleges in the suit.

An “Intro to Islam Video” and “The 5 Pillars of Islam” were assigned for students to watch at home, without supervision, and did not include a disclaimer that the content does not represent the views or opinions of the school district, the lawsuit says.

Students also had to do a fill-in-the-blank version of the shahada, the Islamic conversion creed and prayer, which contained a link to a webpage that explains “the ease with which they could convert to become Muslim,” the lawsuit says.

Pretty soon the Chatham gym teacher will be sexually abusing the girls because pedophile muhammed said it was ok. These people need to literally beat the school board members with sticks. Then move on to this traitorous pedophile judge and beat the crap out of him too. Judge Kevin McNulty needs to go.

I’d love to see a knowledgeable student start screaming and crying, running to the principal’s office saying the teacher was trying to get them KILLED, because if the say the shahada out loud, they ‘convert’ to islam, therefore, if they at any time in the futile say, no, they are NOT muslim then every muslim has the religious authority and command to KILL the apostate!

I don’t think they exist. Modern atheism in America is just a hatred of Christianity. Liberals (all ‘atheists’ are Democrats or communists) really dislike the idea they are subject to judgement by an ethic that they know judges them poorly.

I think you are right. Without knowing much about or understanding Christianity, they do, nevertheless, understand that what is stated in the Bible condemns their way of life and lack of standards. So, like rebelling children – in this case rebelling against God – they hate Christianity. Like Muslims and Islam they have brought hatred, intolerance, bigotry and incessant lies to Western societies. Just watch CNN for a while and you realize that in Wolf Blitzer, Chris Cuomo, Alysin Camerota, Jeffrey Toobins, Gloria Borger and their pathetic panels, you are watching arch liars and slanderers to whom no lie or slander is too big. Consumed by intolerance and hatred, the mindset they possess is the antithesis of that which should exist in a democracy. These dregs of humanity are in fact destroying democracy, but it’s not just in the United States. University of Toronto’s Jordan Peterson has warned Canadian Christians that they are heading into a lean period. Why? Because Canada’s valueless ‘values’ have marshaled the country against things Christian, against decency and put it in favour of the lies, whether it be about LGBT lifestyles or Islam. The media has for a long time been mostly rubbish so contributes to the mess in which the garbage leadership of P.M. Justin Trudeau plays a big role in dragging the country down.

The decision to nclude the Bill of Rights provision against allowing the government to “establish” religion was backed by both “deist” and religious representatives. There were many denominations in the country at that time and the adherents of each, rightly, did not want to have their religious convictions discriminated against with the backing of government force. EVERYONE should enthusiastically back the separation of “church and state”. Especially with this dire threat from supremacist Islam.

Atheists don’t abhor all religions. They simply do not believe that there is a supreme being, a God, who controls what happens in our daily lives. According to recent data as much as 30% of the American public do not believe that a God exists. But that does not mean that they hate religion.

“Recent data”……whose “data”? If we didn’t learn anything in the last election we learned at least one thing….that polls and surveys are skewed the way the person, or company, or group wants it to be.

The last time I took a “survey” a couple of years back I found that the questions..the way they were structured or asked….lead me down the path the way they got the answer they wanted…..not what I would have said.

And I will bet money that whomever was claiming to do that poll was either a Libtard Leftists trying to discourage Christians…..or an atheist who was trying to find their crowd.

I’ve never taken another poll or survey…..and after all the false polls that Trump would lose the Presidency -RIGHT UP TO ELECTION DAY…..I don’t believe ANY POLL or SURVEYS.

There is only one person who had a correct prediction based on his long time computer algorithms….That was a Stoney Brook professor Helmut Norpoth…..he predicted Trump with a 95% accuracy. He was correct.

2. There have been numerous studies looking at IQ and religion (which is why a meta analysis is possible) just as there have been numerous studies looking at race and IQ.

This entry from Wikipedia discusses the topic of religion and measured IQ and provides you with a detailed bibliography on the numerous studies that went into it:

Aethists, christians, jews, and ANYONE, who is NOT a muslim, can be killed TODAY. When it comes to the day (the tribulation), the aethists, along with the “fake” christians, jews, will be the ones that accept the mark of Satan, so they can buy (food), and sell, and eventually go to hell. The true “christians, jews, and the ones that decide to join the RIGHT side”, and REFUSE the mark, will be the ones, that will die for God, and will see heaven.

Thank you! I’m afraid it’s wasted breath, though. If any of them out there are honest, I suggest they read Dan Barker’s book “Godless” about how his loyalty to reason freed him from superstition. But most would just rather enjoy their approved form of hate in the name of “The Lord”.

Based on what ? I am a life long Atheist and am stridently apposed, to the Murdering, Child Molesting, Enslaving, Lie and Dishonesty, that is Islam!
You need to attack Islam and Muslims and the teachers in this case instead of people who you know nothing about.
The teachers and maybe even many of the School administrators should be removed, and never allowed any involvement in the Public School system, anywhere!

Firstly, the mother is right and chose bravely not to bow to this fetid school’s capitulation to Islam. Secondly, the judge, finally someone in the judiciary has the chutzpah not to bow to this indoctrination program that is obviously sponsored and endorsed by the politically correct progressives in the administration and faculty of this public school. Thirdly, what about the other parents whose children are being proselytized? Undoubtedly, they are gormless, or pro-Islam or fear being branding Islamophobic.

Chatham schools are some of the best in New Jersey and in the USA. Chatham is 90 % white Christian, and there are few Jews living there. These hyper liberal teachers whom endorse Islam thought they would get away with this, and this parent was able to bite them in the butt. If this is what is going on in Chatham schools, I don’t want to imagine what is being taught in lesser ranked schools, unfortunately we already know.

I am also of the belief that there should be NO proselytizing in our schools of degenerative behaviors (sexually or otherwise), especially one-sided proselytization for the LGBT lifestyle (curricula provided exclusively by alphabet-soup groups like GLAAD, GLSEN, HRC and PFLAG, one, more or all of which are affiliated directly or indirectly with NAMBLA and are fronts for child molesters, pedophiles, pederasts, human traffickers, child pornographers and certain other classes of sexual predators) and the contribution of and to the delinquency of minors by inducing them (by threat of lower grades) to engage in sodomy with other students of same “genders” – all as a prelude to convert them to homosexuality or even transgenderism. The prostrating by school districts before LGBT extremist demands, including special accommodations for “trans” people, is just as repulsive, stomach-turning and destructive, not to mention detrimental to our individual freedoms, as the one-sided Islam proselytization. How many of those children have been molested by these so-called “teachers,” anyway? Go pass by one of those free USB recharging stations when one of those “Youth Pride” ads come up to see what these sickos are doing to our children in the name of “diversity.” Things like this are what set off repulsion in other parts of the world and the view that we as a nation and a society are a cesspool of decadence with no regard for the well-being and best interests of the children. Judeo-Christian values see children as a precious resource, to have their innocence preserved as much and as long as possible; Greenwich Village/San Francisco/Fire Island “values,” by contrast, see children as nothing more than fresh meat to be despoiled, deflowered and taken advantage of sexually and otherwise, their moral compass shattered, their inner “stranger danger” detection system disabled, dismantled and disarmed, and their being plunged headfirst into an abyss of depravity, degeneracy, perversion and degradation – to say nothing of having them surgically and physically mutilated, disfigured and deformed to advance that sick ideology.

This judge knows his stuff. Unfortunately for the school board if the lawsuit is telling the truth, the New Jersey school board is about to lose an awful lot of money. Wonder if the alt-left nazis who funded that proselytizing curriculum will foot the bill?
There should also be NO proselytizing of socialism either. Schools should be teaching respect for the law (that was democratically generated), academic success and hard work ethic. No more ridiculous outdated institutions like cheerleaders for manual labour/athletes. Too long the socialists have been redirecting the wealth meant for hardworking knowledge workers who drive economic innovation to worthless entertainment workers (ie athletes, actors, musicians, etc.). Time to raise taxes on the NFL, Hollywood, rock stars, etc., who are the real wealthiest 1% (and it’s very interesting to see a certain demographic which always screams unfair treatment to have a large presence in those fields).

I don’t think studies of Islam or the koran should be allowed in a Christian country, let alone a school full of impressionable youngsters. The goal of the Muslim Brotherhood in America is to paint a rosy picture of Islam complete with sand dunes, date palms, and camels on an oasis.
Genies in bottles, belly dancers, magic carpet rides. Islam is as innocuous as a bizarre carnevil ..complete with lamb kebobs with stuffed grape leaves and hummus…

In reality Islam creates a dessicrated wasteland everywhere it dominates.

The lawsuit must seek prohibitive punitive damages against the school district, as well as the specified school officials. Send a clear, unmistakable message that anyone who tries to get away with this will not get off the hook lightly. Another example of the student teaching the teachers. This is a symptom of a severe problem.

“Students also had to do a fill-in-the-blank version of the shahada, the Islamic conversion creed and prayer, which contained a link to a webpage that explains “the ease with which they could convert to become Muslim,” the lawsuit says.”

There should also have been a link to an explanation that if you try to leave Islam, they’ll kill you. Some grisly pictures of people murdered for this reason would help the young students comprehend this lesson. But no, of course that wasn’t included.

Monday, February 13, 2017
If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America. The ex-“president” said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues, and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration’s top dogs over to an organization called Organizing for Action (OFA). OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the Marxist resistance we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for progressive change, meaning Marxist revolution. Issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform. OFA members were propped up by the ex-“president’s” message from the shadows: “Organizing is the building block of everything great we’ve accomplished. Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities-and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines…Commit to this work in 2016 and beyond.” OFA’s website says it obtained its “digital” assets from the ex-“president’s” re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it’s the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic, picking up where Communist Party America leaves off.

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says OFA is an army of agitators 30,000 strong who will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-“president” “will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.” Sperry writes that the ex-“president” is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the incoming administration through a network of leftist nonprofits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate OFA has 32,525 volunteers nationwide. The ex-“president” and his wife will oversee the operation from their foundation office near the White House.

Think about how this works-Trump issues an immigration executive order; OFA signals for protests and statements from Islamic and pro-immigrant leftist groups; ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action; the twittersphere lights up with revolutionary social media; violence follows-all emanating from the ex-“president’s” signal that he is heartened by the protests. Speaking of the end times, the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:1-3, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be…without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good.” Indeed, perilous times are ahead for us and our nation.
