A Big Apple Uber driver kicked a lesbian couple out of his car for kissing in the backseat — because he found the act “disrespectful,” according to video showing the aftermath of the incident.

Emma Pichl, 24, and her girlfriend of two years, Alex Iovine, 26, had just left a friend’s birthday party at the popular bar Pig Beach in Gowanus, Brooklyn, around 5 p.m. Saturday when the pair hailed an Uber to take them to the East Village to another pal’s birthday party.
“We got over the Manhattan Bridge into the city. We were sitting on opposite sides of the backseat. At one point we leaned over and pecked kiss, very fast,” Pichl told The Post on Monday.
Five minutes later, according to Pichl, the driver “pulled the cab over and said, ‘You should not do that … do not do that.’”
“And then he opened the car doors,” Pichl said. “I thought he was kidding and then Alex said, ‘I don’t think he is.’”
Pichl, who noted that neither she nor Iovine was intoxicated, added: “He started yelling at us that we were disrespectful and inappropriate and that he wants us out of his car … we were going back and forth trying to understand.”
A 62-second video posted to YouTube by Iovine titled “Uber driver kicks 2 girls out of his car for being gay” shows the moments after the Uber driver booted the women.
Both women can be heard asking the driver what the “issue” is as they are outside the vehicle.
“I said…don’t do it,” the driver, identified by the city’s Taxi and Limousine Commission as Ahmad El Boutari, tells the women who then ask the motorist if kissing is “illegal” in an Uber.
“Yeah it is illegal,” the driver says. “You don’t do that here in the car … you are not allowed to do this.”

One of the outraged women then questions the driver, saying, “What are you f—king talking about? Are you sick in the head?”
Iovine, who filmed as the encounter played out, then asks the sunglasses-wearing driver: “Why are we not allowed to kiss in an Uber?”
“You are not allowed … it’s disrespectful … it’s disrespectful. I don’t want to argue with you. Just get off my car,” the driver says.
Iovine fires back: “I want to understand — what did we do wrong? Nothing is illegal. It is not illegal to kiss in New York.”
Pichl told The Post that a moment later, El Boutari “grabbed” her arm to get her phone out of her hand.
“Get off of her phone. Don’t f—king touch her,” Iovine is heard saying in the clip. “I’m reporting you. I’m gonna get you fired.”
El Boutari then says, “I don’t care.”
After the video ended, Pichl said the driver “just got back in his car and sped off. We paid for a full Uber ride. It was 22 bucks.”

Pichl, a senior recruiter for a recruiting company, said she and Iovine, a consultant for a technology company, were left stunned by the discriminatory incident.
“We were in shock. Definitely very shaken and upset. We always thought we lived in this untouchable New York City bubble where LGBTQ is so accepted,” Pichl said. “We never thought something like this would happen to us. It was a good lesson to show it can happen to you anywhere.”
She continued: “It didn’t feel real.”
On Saturday, the Manhattan couple filed a complaint with Uber, which contacted the pair Monday, apologized and said the company will fully refund their ride, Pichl said.
“Uber does not tolerate any form of discrimination, and we have reached out to the rider regarding her experience. We are investigating and will take appropriate action,” an Uber spokesperson said in a statement Monday.
According to Uber, which has a non-discrimination policy, the incident was also reported to the company by the driver.
The city’s TLC said Monday that no complaint with the agency had been filed in connection to the incident, but that it has launched an investigation.
“[A] driver is most definitely not allowed to do such a thing. There is a list of circumstances that are grounds for refusing service to a passenger, and what happened is most definitely not among them,” TLC spokesman Allan Fromberg said.
According to Pichl, Iovine also filed a complaint with the city’s Human Rights Commission in connection to the incident, which took place during Pride Month.

Guaranteed, he’ll get no meaningful punishment for this and that means other backward-ass Uber drivers will be able to do it, soon daily life in New York will be dictated by whatever your “driver” tells you you’re allowed to do.
Because it’s an easy job, lots of unreported income, so his wives can collect the social benefits for all his kids by him reporting he’s making the bare minimum in wages. That’s one of the main reasons you see so many muslim drivers.
No, it is NOT an easy job, the money IS reported as income, and NO, it is not a LOT of money. Wrong an all counts. Don’t believe the Uber hype. You may take in $100 in a day, but you have to put $40 in the tank the next day to go out again. Where I drive, there are very few tippers. I would love to make the $10 minimum wage.
I agree Uber is not the way to ,make money, but in my comment, the reason he drives Uber is so he DOESN’T make a lot of money, so his wives and kids can quality for social assistance. The privileges of living in a country that hands out other peoples money by the truck load

Should have made him cancel the job instead of just getting out of his car. If he decides to kick people out because of his own prejudices, then no way should they have to pay for the full trip. Or in fact any of it. The girls could justifiably give him the lowest possible rating and also report him. And being the US, probably sue for discrimination.

Where’s the lawsuit? Is it going to the supreme court? Are the cab company and the driver being being harassed and threatened by thousands of emails, phone calls and public confrontations? Are they in the process of losing their job, their company? OH OF COURSE NOT, because the LGBT hatred and war is against the only true God, Jesus Christ and His followers. Muslims get a free pass as their numbers aren’t large enough yet to burst the homosexual bubble by throwing them off rooftops like they do where their sharia law is law of the land.
It won’t be long.
The city already acted to suspend his TLC license and is doing an investigation that could lead to his license revocation. That’s why there isn’t any need for protests, and so much for Muslims get a free pass.
I saw this story a while ago and I had no doubt that the driver was a Muslim, especially since early reports failed to mention his name, Ahmad El Boutari, so as to avoid providing any clues to the protected “faith” of this thug.
Don’t worry though, I promise you these lesbians will be screaming that it had nothing to do with Islam and Islamophobia is the planet’s biggest and most serious problem. They’ll eagerly join the next queers for Palestine march and praise and celebrate Linda Sarour as an amazing feminist icon.
