‘It’s All The Polite Presidents Who’ve Gotten Us Into This Mess, Maybe We Need An Impolite President To Try To Switch Things Up’

53

Joe Machi, a panelist on Saturday night’s “Greg Gutfeld Show” may be on to something.

When asked by Gutfeld about his thoughts on the upcoming Trump/Kim summit, he replied:

I think Trump has a point. This should have been handled long ago, but it’s all the polite presidents who’ve gotten us into this mess, maybe we need an impolite president to try to switch things up, see what happens.

Story continues below advertisement

Gutfeld agreed with Machi, saying, “Yeah, he’s the crazy guy…now when they scream “Death to America,” we scream back “screw you!”

Please go to 0.55 in this video.

America has had a string of polite, politically correct presidents try to manage relations with North Korea. From the Clinton Administration’s “Agreed Framework” through the Obama Administration’s “Strategic Patience,” US policy toward North Korea’s nuclear program has failed spectacularly. It has also enriched the regime and allowed them time to obtain a nuclear weapon. It’s time for a new approach.

Trump told reporters that he feels very optimistic ahead of the historic talks with Kim Jong Un (KJU), which he calls his “mission of peace.” Although he hopes for a favorable outcome, as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo remarked last week, his “eyes are wide open.” Trump has made it clear that this is a “one-time shot for Kim. This opportunity will not present itself again.”

Trump has said he will know within the first minute if Kim is serious about the negotiations. “I think I’ll know pretty quickly whether or not, in my opinion, something positive will happen. And if I think it won’t happen, I’m not going to waste my time. I don’t want to waste his time.”

The mainstream media, predictably, appears to be rooting for his failure. They mocked Trump when he agreed to talks back in March. How can a US president give Kim legitimacy on the world stage?, they asked. Several weeks ago, when Kim’s behavior turned unexpectedly aggressive following a trip to China, Trump walked away from the talks and wrote a letter to Kim saying, “You talk about your nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used.” Of course, the media criticized him for flip-flopping on the world stage. An Associated Press reporter today referred to Trump’s “seat of his pants” foreign policy.

Hannity presents a medley of CNN and MSNBC figures in various stages of hysteria as they discuss Trump’s handling of Kim Jong Un at 5:20 in this video. They call his behavior “demented” and say that he is “not well,” “not fit for office,” that he is goading Kim Jong Un into testing another nuclear missile. One says that Trump and Kim come across as “kindergartners except that they have nuclear weapons.” It ends with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski warning us “of 100,000 Americans dying or a million being killed in Seattle. This is where we are. This is no exaggeration.”

Aside from Kim’s aggressive words prior to Trump’s calling off the talks recently, Kim has appeared to be acting in good faith. So far, Sean Hannity reminds us that, “North Korea has halted their nuclear tests. ICBM tests are done. They released three American hostages. They’ve agreed to discuss the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.”

Trump may very well be on the road to a major foreign policy success, which will add to an already enviable record of achievements sure to boost Republican’s fortunes in the upcoming midterms. The left knows this, and it’s tying them up into knots.

Contrary to what the mainstream media would have us believe, Donald Trump is not a stupid man. He is well aware of North Korea’s long history of manipulation and deceit.

As a lifelong, world-class businessman, he has spent decades negotiating with the most sophisticated and skilled business leaders on the planet. He knows how to negotiate a deal. This is what he means when he says he has spent his entire life preparing for this moment.

KJU was groomed to step into the shoes of his father, the late Kim Jong Il. As intended, he became a ruthless, murderous dictator, a role he has embraced.

That said, I do believe there is a small part of KJU (which was absent in his father and grandfather), a little flash of the human spirit that longs to connect with others. He certainly connected with Dennis Rodman a while back. And this perception was reinforced by Kim’s behavior as he interacted with South Korean President Moon last month. Kim was photographed holding hands with his South Korean counterpart, he was beaming, he projected warmth and it all seemed quite genuine.

And yes, I know his country is in deep financial trouble right now, and it would be in his best interest to relieve this economic pressure. But, an irredeemable soul wouldn’t be able to carry off the conviviality that Kim displayed during his visit with Moon.

President Trump has an engaging personality and a strong sense of humor; which Kim will likely react positively to. He has the ability to “disarm” people – when he chooses to.

I believe Trump has what it takes to reach Kim. And if he can’t strike a satisfactory deal, he is not afraid to walk away. The past three US Presidents all tried, and failed, to end North Korea’s nuclear ambitions. Quite possibly, Trump will succeed where others have not. He calls his strategy “Peace through Strength,” which is reminiscent of the phrase made famous by President Teddy Roosevelt, “Speak softly, but carry a big stick.”

Despite the fact that 90% of the mainstream media’s coverage of Trump is negative, President Trump continues to move methodically down his list of campaign promises. He has likely accomplished more in the first 16 months of his presidency than any president since FDR. With luck, he may be handed another win this week.

Who wants to negotiate with a phony? Another phony.

Below is a photographic illustration of how Canadian PM negotiates with France over the massive trade imbalance between Canada and France. As you might not know, Canada has a massive trade deficit with France and maybe they made a deal to team up against Trump. (From Sardinia G7, 2017)

When I was looking at the G7 pictures, I had to laugh. You have FEMINIZED MALES and MASCULINE WOMEN running the show and then there is ALPHA TRUMP. No wonder he wants Putin there. At least he is an alpha male!

What is the point of the G7? You have most of the EU there – UK, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan and the U.S.. Why not form another group and have Germany represent the EU, Russia, India,Japan, China and the U.S.? Of course the EU will gang up on the U.S.! We are being looted.

This is why BILATERAL AGREEMENTS are needed!
Forget this group crap. Others in the group gang up on a country. There are LOTS of issues with trade and lots of games going on!

The double standard is glaring!

The Obama administration slapped a 35% tariff on Chinese tires in 2009, citing a surge in imports. It also imposed hefty tariffs on imports of cold-rolled flat steel after the U.S. International Trade Commission found that China was dumping steel in America at artificially low prices. The U.S. also slapped huge anti-dumping duties on Chinese solar-panel makers in 2014. Look what happens when TRUMP uses tariffs!

What China and other countries do amongst other things is have the government SUBSIDIZE a product to knock out the competition and dump it on the market. Of course they get a monopoly and then they slowly raise the price again after the competition is driven out of business.

Right, China does produce 49% of global steel. Kind of an OPEC situation (used to be) applied to steel.

Well, it’s not as though the USA can keep up with production of steel on its own, as it’s not blessed with ore.

Interesting comment, I didn’t know anything about steel production. We do use scrap steel and iron to produce most of our steel, rather than mining ore, these days. And we also export much of our scrap steel. So we could conceivably be manufacturing steel with that scrap rather than exporting it, do you agree? see: https://www.indexmundi.com/en/commodities/minerals/iron_and_steel_scrap/iron_and_steel_scrap_t9.html

Plus we do have ore, in the Great Lakes region, but with so much scrap available there’s isn’t so much need to mine.

Good post, Felix, indeed the Brit quagmire is much like the Obama reign of error. May deems herself a leader but in truth, not many others do. The same may be said for Justin Trudeau in Canada and Macron in France. Fuhrer Merkel is a repugnant remnant of the old Europe under Germany.

Speaking of Obama, it boggles that this traitor is walking freely on the streets of the nation he detests, America.

My heart goes out to you Brits, although now in Canada we are facing the same destiny. Left unchecked the end is obvious. Our political leaders are Globalists. They are being mandated by the elite and have sold their souls to the devil. The best news I have seen recently is the British people’s reaction to the illegal arrest of Tommy Robinson. Chasing down the police at the protest, loved it. It sparked something in the people that made them realized, fight now or die later. The hair the broke the camel’s back so to say. The politician’s who have made this possible and not excluding the members of the EU, (Elitists Pricks) should be held responsible for the blood shed that is surely to follow for their reckless and treacherous actions to respective peoples.
God speed to the British people and all of western society as well.

Trump is really trying hard to restore our country. This is why the liberal elite is constantly all over him. The globalists fight him at every step. They want things to remain the same. They are content to have the U.S. be a global ATM machine to level off the financial playing field.

Make no mistake about it. They do want a one world government. Our Constitution gets in the way but they use Treaties and entanglements such as the World Trade Organization and the United Nations etc. to try and dilute our sovereignty. Make no mistake about it, Trump is our last shot.

NO other candidate that he ran against would do what he is doing. NONE OF THEM! It would be the status quo and excuses. If Hillary had won, Obama would have been behind the scenes finishing the job. There is no doubt about it, her health is failing.

Since a US president CREATED The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), when Franklin D (the “D” stands for “Demonspawn”) Roosevelt, against Churchill’s vehement objections … reached across the table and took his spirit brother’s hand (Joseph Stalin) and said, “Done.” … Perhaps it’s time that a US president put an end to it.

Korea was SPLIT in August 1945, when FDR had been DEAD for 4 months. The 38’th parallel was agreed to by Stalin & Truman. Korean War that started in 1950, “ended” with the “truce” that has been in place since about 1953- NO change in dividing line of 38’th parallel, between North & South Korea.

It was AT the Yalta Conference where Churchill argued against splitting Korea. He referenced that they had thousands of years of written history. And, although many times invaded, they NEVER invaded another nation. Demonspawn looked at his spirit brother (Joseph Stalin) and said that “Winnie had a bad night, too much champagne.”, Raised himself from his wheelchair, grabbed Stalin’s hand and said, “Done.” What does the Korean Conflict have to do with splitting a people apart:?

It’s actually in the prophecies. These are clearly the END TIMES.

There is verse in the Bible that THIS Gospel must be PREACHED unto all nations. There is one problem, it has not been fulfilled.

North Korea is the only HERMIT kingdom left that has NOT had THEE Gospel preached to it. So the summit, ultimately, will be a COMPLETE success. The hermit kingdom will open up. Western goods will come piling in and business deals will be made.

Purpose? To let THEE Gospel in. It will come in with the false ones too, inevitably. But THIS Gospel will be preached to them.

When that happens – THEN THE END shall come.

Good bye.

Just reading about a typical Trump day exhausts me!
Trump is old school. He barely sleeps too. When leaving for the G7, at an impromptu presser, he admitted he had 18 BOXES of work to do and he wasn’t kidding. He is a workaholic.

Keep in mind Trump just spent a few days with masculine women and mostly feminized males, verbally stabbed in the back by Ms. Trudy when he was in the air leaving the G7 kaffe flatch. It must have been hard to stomach those people. Japan and Italy were probably the only sane people there!

You really have to read the rest of part of the link I posted below. It;s truly insane. Merkel at her NAZI finest! It is truly outright COMICAL!
Limits on BATHING to save water…
Here, you read it and laugh at the insanity of COMMUNISTS!

Cont’d – from other link.

•On the global gender equity initiative, six of the G7 members have agreed to a $3.8 billion fund to create more opportunity for female organisms; and/or for the expanded rights of those who might identify as female organisms in the next generation. The central beneficiary group of the G7 gender equity initiative will LIKELY be human; however, in the spirit of inclusivity the communique also accepts a building movement within the EU to recognize planetary gender inequality amid all species.

In fairness to the female Salvadorian four-toed sand lizard who might not want to face the horrors of sub-tropical male domination and subsequent impregnation; the U.N. will use a portion of the G6-1 funding to study the sensibilities of trans-gender lizards in the Southern Hemisphere. The international monetary fund will be responsible for distribution and will use their upper-east-side suites as the temporary conduit until the new international center for gender equality building is finished; [*note the design competition and contractor bidding period has been extended until August 14th, 2021]

•On the horrors of plastics and climate initiatives, the G7 agreement morphed to a recycled G5 as Japan and the United States refused to sign on to the planned planetary elimination of all plastic, petroleum and carbon-based products.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe raised the argument it was impossible for many people to carry enough water from the river, in their cupped bare hands, to take a shower. Germany’s Angela Merkel became quite cross, and pointed out that showers and bathing were already verboten per the 2011 G20 communique and international water-conservation agreement in Finland.

Theresa May rose to support Ms. Merkel and pointed out how the success of the 2011 Finland water-conservation-agreement necessitated and supported accepting increased middle-east immigration. Less EU bathing means more water. More water equals happier fish; and many of the most disenfranchised of the pelagic species had their planetary rights trampled for eons by colonial expansionists.

PM May supports correcting those historic abuses, and the U.K. Council on Subterranean Species Initiatives (UK-CSTSI) has been monitoring the sensibilities of North Atlantic cod for almost half-a-decade. The councils’ work has been a key policy initiative for the elimination of insensitive fish-and-chip shops throughout England and Northern-Ireland.

Polite gets you jack when you’re dealing with terrorists and their supporters.
The US has been under economic attack since I was a youngster and I’m 68.
Japan DUMPED their JUNK here in the 60s and 70s and till this day at basically NO tariffs while US products were taxed out of existence overseas literally.
China and Japan has DUMPED their cheap junk here for decades, putting many US manufacturers out of bidness and also thru their distributors, have put tens of thousands of Mom and Pop small businesses out of bidness as they cannot compete with Walmarts and other Japanese/chinee distributors lowball prices.
So THEY can sell to US at a handsome profit and WE cannot export to them because of their HUGE import tariffs on US products.
Yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense……..To them.
My outlook is the tariffs THEY charge us to export to them is the SAME tariffs We charge THEM to export to the USA.
Don’t like it? then I’ll ask this,Where does a 700 pound gorilla sit inna room full of Chimps?
In case you forgot, the USA is the 600 pound Gorilla, and it DON’T have to be polite to the chimps..
