Ramadan, when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset to please Allah, is considered their holiest month. Many non-Muslims are often invited to fast and even pray with their Muslim friends, and also to share the IFTAR dinner.
Ramadan. Iftar. A dawah opportunity on the Road to One World Under Islam, the umma.
Non-Muslims, such as the Leftist Jews from JFREJ (Jews For Racial and Economic Justice) and JVP (Jewish Voice For Peace) were “free to participate in Ramadan,” and that’s just what they were doing in Foley Square. Proudly.

The New JDL-NY listened politely, but gave no quarter to the ignorance of these misguided leftist Jews, the JFREJ and JVP, who were dedicated to showing the world how to live in peace with their Muslim sisters and brothers.
These do-gooder non-Muslims encourage others “…. to be polite to someone who is fasting for Ramadan … greet them with Ramadan Mubarak or Ramadan Kareem, which means ‘Have a Blessed or Generous Ramadan’.” [Huff Po]
BUT, is this special time of year really genuinely welcoming the kuffar?

** The NYPD Community Affairs officer was apparently in the pocket of the IFTAR organizers. In the name of “peace,” and at the behest of the IFTAR event, he denied the freedom of speech to the JDL protestors.
His reasoning? The “Iftarists” had the sound permit (which only means the opposition — the JDL — cannot be amplified, NOT that they cannot say a word).
But today he created a new rule. Just for the JDL. The Community Affairs Officer warned the New JDL protestors not to make a sound while Sarsour was speaking (on mic) OR they would be removed from this public park.

They don’t like women, they don’t like Muslims, they don’t like Jews, they don’t like immigrants, they don’t like refugees, they don’t like black people, they don’t like LGBTQ people. As for the muzzling of the NEW JDL-NY, such actions are never imposed on the Muslim/Leftist protestors.

The end of Ramadan 2018 (on June 14) is called Eid ul-Fitr (Festival of the Breaking of the Fast), a 3 day festival. Three Days! Wow. So much to look forward to.

From my perspective a very accurate quote. Without sounding paranoid, I have been saying for over 30 years that anti-Semitism, like what was seen during Nazi Germany and as promoted by those of the Islamic belief system will and can happen here. In Europe today, those of the Jewish faith cannot ever broadcast that they are members of the Jewish faith, as can be seen by their fear of wearing head covering or symbols that they believe in the followings of their Old Testament book. To do so in those areas of Europe which have become flooded with refugees of the Muslim belief system is to risk violence and possibly death. That problem is now happening here, and I believe that it will increase as we allow more of these Islamic believers into this country. It saddens me that some Jewish groups seem unable to see the “trees from the forest.” Their conduct will further the cause of those who refer to non-believers, especially the Jews, as “apes and pigs.” The Jews suffered when they did not take appropriate action to protect themselves from the Nazi’s and history is about to repeat itself, I fear! It is especially sad that it is likely to happen here in the U.S. The Jewish people are essentially not violent, are industrious and have contributed many great things to society here and around the world. Yet, they now face a clear and present danger that IS life threatening, and many seem to be failing to see the great danger that exists and what needs to be done to deal with it. Please let there be an awakening soon before it is too late. Winston Churchill spoke the truth and we all need to accept the reality of violence that we face from these believers. this is serious!!!

I neglected to mention some very important facts that establish the truth of Churchill’s statement above. History evidences that when Islamism took over many of the countries in the Middle East, and elsewhere, the Jewish people were forced out of their countries; they were required to leave all of their possessions and wealth behind. This all happened after WWII. The “proof is now in the pudding,” since as a majority in control, the Islamic’s mistreated the Jewish minority, as Churchill stated. These people who accept the corrupt belief system that is Islam have got to be stopped as they poison just about everything they touch.”

Another fact that I did not mention is that when Israel was created both before and after the initial Arab war to destroy Israel in the late 40’s, Israel did not ask the Arab population to remove themselves from the land of Israel, nor forfeit their possessions. Clearly, many Arabs joined the fighting and subsequently left Israel’s lands, by their own choosing, not by any forceful conduct by the state of Israel. Notwithstanding all of this, they continue to demand a right of return, and the world ignores all the facts that already establish that they either forfeited that right or voluntarily left their land.

Words have meanings, my friend. I disagree. Not everyone knows we are a Republic. Genuine history hasn`t been taught for several generations, and if you ask a HS kid if he has taken a class in civics, he isn`t going to have a clue what you mean. Or ask a kid who the pilgrims were and when and why`d they came here. No, not everyone knows. I`ve dealt with so called “educators” for over 20 years. They, along with the ‘counselors’ , should be arrested and charged with mental child abuse. Clear back to the 60`s, I`ve argued with these idiots. They don`t even believe we are all individuals. Five years on, Gen. Mattis has had numerous opportunities to educate himself on the true nature of Islam. It is reasonable to infer that his Israel-related opinions are now more closely aligned with The Donald’s. In any case it may not matter. General Patton was a racist bigot and anti-Semite but that had no bearing on his fighting skills. He was the only American general the Germans respected and feared. I put it to you that General Mattis, as the most effective American combat commander in a generation, will respect the Chain of Command and pulverize any enemy or combination of enemies against whom he is directed. That fact is of paramount importance. I agree that General Mattis’ sentiments of five years ago are, at best, misinformed. I hope that is no longer the case.

Catering to Muslims is what’s behind the tyranny and stomping on free speech
perpetrated against Tommy Robinson in England. People can shout all they
want during Pamela Geller rallies in New York City – but when it comes to
screeching Muslims like Sarsour, the police demand silence and respect for
her -or else! There is something seriously wrong with that picture here in
the so-called Land of the Free. Just bone chilling. Robinson was tossed
into prison to rot for over the next year – without due process of law. No
lawyer allowed for him, no time to prepare an adequate defense. Convicted,
sentenced and imprisoned on the same day of his arrest! Robinson is someone
who repeatedly and passionately educates the public on the dangerous
ideology of Islam.
When you are arrested and thrown into prison without due process – that is
tyranny. When the police become selective about enforcing the peace –
favoring Muslims over other people – that is the first way station on the road
to real tyranny. New York City and its leaders are that way station.
BTW I stand in solidarity with all Americans who have already fired up their
barbecues long before sunrise – and are enjoying their pork ribs, hot dogs,
etc. all throughout the bloody month of Ramadan.

I share and understand your anger Annie about Tommy, however the courts in UK are usually pretty aware as to the procedures to be followed, and while he didn’t have his own lawyer, the letter of the law was observed because a “on duty” lawyer was called in as is always done. Judges in the UK are all powerful, I know, I was ordered by one to do exactly as he directed in court or else and I was only a witness for the defence, the atmosphere is VERY intimidating indeed, especially if as was the case Judges had sat there for over 500 years in the shadow of a Norman castle too, it was Lewes in Sussex.
At that time in 1996, it was the longest most expensive trial ever held there, around £1.5 million over 6 months.

I have not read anywhere that Tommy Robinson was provided with
an “on duty lawyer” for his defense but have read he had no lawyer.
But you are English and perhaps you are right.
But what I wonder about is the amazing speed with which Tommy
was convicted and sentenced. American courts are overwhelmingly
back logged. I would think it would be the same for English courts.
If so, why was this particular man’s case singled out for such rapid
processing – not even giving his lawyer (if he had one) a chance
to build an adequate defense. It is not due process and fair and
equal treatment under the law to single anyone out for rapid
imprisonment.
We all know why he was treated unfairly by the English court system.
It was for pointing out loud and clear what is wrong with the
ideology of Islam.

The NYPD’s stance here was upheld by the Supreme Court in 1951 (Feiner v. State of New York). The idea is that saying anything to interrupt constitutes an unlawful heckler’s veto, which is a misdemeanor in the State of New York. If this was the other way around, Muslims trying to interrupt Jews, there would be arrests.

Technically, the city is right. Problematic as she is, Linda Sarsour booked the venue and interruptions by anyone else constitute a heckler’s veto, which can be punished without violating the First Amendment. What happened to Tommy Robinson is different as he wasn’t engaging in interruption of others’ free speech. If Pamela Geller has evidence of what she alleges in the second paragraph, why has she not gone to the DA or police precinct to file a criminal complaint?
