West Virginia Middle School TOLD TO REMOVE POSTS About Their Children Forced to Write Their Submission To Allah @MtRidgeMiddle

121

The parent of a student forced to submit to the shahada and Islamic texts and teaching in a public school in West Virginia has alerted me to the latest development in the forced islamization of his children’s school curriculum. The teacher(s) and/or administration are messaging parents who are sharing the story, asking them to remove their posts.

Seventh grade students at a West Virginia middle school were given packets of Islamic proselytizing and were told to write their submission to Allah as their one true god in Arabic. The children are  taught the five pillars of Islam. They are taught the Shahada and are told that calligraphy is an Arab art (calligraphy was started in China during the Shang dynasty, 3,000 years before Islam).

This has been going on for years. I write about it in detail in my 2011 book: Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance.

Story continues below advertisement

No non-Muslim student should be forced to write the or say the shahada without the qualifier, “Muslims believe that…” This is because it is a statement of faith. If the school exercise is requiring students to write it, it should be clear from the wording of the exercise that this is Islamic faith, not the student’s faith. That distinction has been glossed over in many, many school textbook presentations.

You will notice all the faith elements were left out for Judaism and Christianity while the Islamic section was left intact.
One of the parents wrote me:
Attached are the packets the school gave out for the Jewish and the Christian lessons.
Notice no bible verses, no reciting the 10 commandments or the Lord’s prayer. No practicing writing in Hebrew (not even the 10 commandments) as compared to the Islamic packet.
There are no statements of faith, nothing as king the students to write it or practice in any of the Jewish or Christian rituals.
Furthermore the principal of Mountain RIdge Middle School Dr. Branch has used my words against me by saying the teacher did tell the students about the Lord’s prayer (my daughter as well as 1 other said this is false) He is using my arguments I made to him yesterday to protect the teacher.
The teacher today told the students the assignment was optional. My daughter as well as other students were under the impression all the packet assignments were mandatory (the Jewish one and the Christian ones were mandatory).
The school is backtracking and being deceptive to try and weasel out of this. The teacher today clarified things for the students but that still does not excuse the fact that they are teaching the Islamic faith and asking the kids to participate in Sharia. Look at the Islamic packet again. They are asking the kids to write the beginning of Surahs. The teacher still has not corrected the error that calligraphy was started by the arabs.
They are doubling down and only after being called on it are they trying to backtrack.

When a concerned parent contacted me earlier this week, I reported it here.

This is an outrage, but it is common nationwide, and it is exactly what I warned about in my book, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance, in the chapter “The Mosqueing of the Public Schools.”

The shahada that the children are forced to write in Mountain Ridge Middle School is the Muslim profession of faith (“there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”).
In order to convert to Islam, one says the shahada. Saying the shahada makes you a Muslim.

The shahada is what is on the black flag of jihad.

This is West Virginia, not Baghdad.

This parent is hardly the first to protest this egregious submission to the most vicious and brutal ideology on the face of the earth. In Volusia County, Florida, hundreds protested Islamic lessons in their  “World History” text, a Common Core-approved high school history textbook.

With an entire chapter dedicated to the virtues of Islam, and not a single chapter for Christianity, the textbook has Floridians in a frenzy. And who is the biggest pusher of Common Cores besides leftist progressives? The Islamic Society of North America, another Muslim Brotherhood front group, along with Hamas-CAIR; and in Florida, Hamas-CAIR is on the offensive. (more here)

We have seen the increasing islamization of the public school curriculum. History lessons in Islam are dawah — proselytizing for Islam. Large public school publishers have been bought by the Saudis.

This is not just a problem in West Virginia — it’s a national problem.

Rich Penkoski contacted me and explained the situation further. He sent me the packets the school gave out for the Jewish and the Christian lessons and commented:

I wrote to Dr. Branch to share with him the resource that Miss Hinson used and point out that the material she gave the students did not include all the faith aspects for Christianity. The students received 2 pages for Christianity from this resource while all the Islamic sections were left intact.

Here’s the link for you to review. You will notice all the faith elements were left out for Judaism and Christianity while the Islamic section was left the way it’s presented.
So she decided to use the extra resources for Islam and the school is saying that’s not indoctrination or proselytizing? The faith aspects and the same considerations were not given to the others as they were for Islam. This actually further proves my point that Islam was afforded special privilege over the others.

“Christian Parent Furious After School Instructs Children To Write Out Their Submission To Allah,” by Joshua Gill, Daily Caller News Foundation, May 17, 2018:

A West Virginia school has come under fire for instructing junior high students to write the Islamic profession of faith ostensibly to practice calligraphy.

Rich Penkoski, a Christian parent and founder of online ministry Warriors for Christ, raised alarms over a packet on Islam his daughter’s seventh grade social studies teacher issued to students, according to Christian Post. The packet, edited from the full version of a world religions workbook, instructed students to practice writing the Shahada, or Islamic profession of faith, in Arabic calligraphy — an assignment that, if left undone, would result in detention, according to Penkoski’s daughter.

The Shahada states: “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

Shahada Calligraphy assignment from 'Exploring World Beliefs: Islam' (Screenshot/Teacher Created Resources)

[Shahada Calligraphy assignment from ‘Exploring World Beliefs: Islam’ (Screenshot/Teacher Created Resources)]

Penkoski called Mountain Ridge Middle School Principal Ron Branch and objected to the packet, saying it disturbed him and had misinformation about the history of calligraphy.

“I saw the assignment of writing the Shahada in Arabic. Their excuse was calligraphy,” Penkoski told The Christian Post. “I was like, ‘Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!’ First of all, calligraphy was invented in China 3,000 years prior to Muhammad. The fact that they were trying to get my daughter to write that disturbed me.”

“I said, ‘That is not happening. My daughter is not doing that.’ My daughter told me that if she didn’t do the assignment, then she was going to get a [detention] slip,” Penkoski added….

There were two different calligraphy assignments — one involving the Shahada and another instructing students to practice writing English letters in calligraphy, Branch told Christian Post. Hinson “told the students that they could do these activities if they wanted,” Branch claimed.

“The teacher has told her class several times that this is a study of world religions and that she is not trying to advocate for any religion over another. She has told her class that if they had questions about religious beliefs, that those conversations should take place with their parents,” Branch added.

Penkoski claimed the teacher sent students home with the same packet the day after he lodged a complaint — this time, with certain sections crossed out but still including the Shahada assignment. Penkoksi called the principal again and confronted Hinson over the phone.

“I said, ‘This is not OK in asking my kid to write down the Shahada.’ The teacher happened to walk-in and said she made it an option and that the kids didn’t have to do it. My daughter conflicted that story and said, ‘No, that is not what was said.’ What was said was, ‘Do the assignment; and if you want to learn more about the Quran, ask your parents,’” Penkoski told Christian Post.

Each religion studied in the class, including Christianity and Judaism, received “equitable treatment,” Branch also told Christian Post. He said the class spent a week and a half on Christianity and Judaism — other religions took one week — and discussed each religion’s beliefs, history and practices. During the section on Christianity, “Jesus was taught,” Branch claimed.

“The students read the chapter in our textbook that discusses Christianity’s belief that Jesus is the Son of God, and salvation. They also discussed the Sermon on the Mount, the Last Supper and Jesus’ Betrayal, the Trinity, and the Lord’s Prayer, among other topics,” Branch said.

Penkoski and his daughter, Brielle, contested Branch’s claims. The Lord’s Prayer was not taught, and very little time was spent teaching about Jesus, they told Christian Post. “We did [the unit on Christianity] over a week and two days. We watched two different videos. We didn’t finish them. They taught a little bit about Moses and the Ten Commandments, Peter and Paul,” Brielle explained. “We learned about the Israelites and how they are being persecuted by the Romans. We were told about the Jews and told a little bit about Jesus.”

Penkoski also shared with Christian Post the packets on Christianity and Judaism passed out in class and allegedly modified from the original full version. While the packet on Islam contained verses from the Koran, the packets for those religions did not contain scripture and did not encourage students to write prayers or faith statements, he said.

“Notice no Bible verses, no reciting the Ten Commandments or the Lord’s Prayer,” he said.

“[There’s] no practicing writing in Hebrew as compared to the Islamic packet,” he added….

So not only are they trying to impose Islamic religious views on students, but they are also trying to restrict their families’ freedom of speech? How disgusting.

They want no resistance to Islam indoctrination.
When I learned history years ago, we never covered the DOCTRINE of Islam. We did cover the Judeo Christian roots of our country in broad terms.

Yes, you can. Especially in a situation where they are before older people in authority and they have no option to say no. Furthermore, you are in no position to even make your insinuation because you’re the same ones who were claiming children were easily influenced to take up smoking from Joe Camel ads in the ’90’s.

why are the schools, beside the historical aspect of religions, teaching any of this which should be private? They want to talk about Aisha, and the millions that scurvy old man killed? I get a kick out of it, though. He married a rich older woman, spent her money, and then decided he wanted more wives and power.

That’s an entirely different question. Sue the school board if you don’t like their policies. But don’t expect a Catholic group to fight an issue in the secular schools. That was my point, not whether the school board was violating the first amendment.

Anyone is “allowed” to defend the first amendment. No one is required to, however. The K of C may very well decide to fight for the first amendment. But they are a fraternal group of Catholic men, dedicated to a Catholic mission. My point is that they have a particular constituency, and if you wish their support, it is only reasonable for you to belong to that constituency. You wouldn’t expect PETA to advocate on behalf of the cattlemen, for example.

No, the problem is that you think some private group should do society’s job. If you want something done, get off the computer and do it. Don’t wonder why someone else hasn’t done it, YOU do it. That’s the way things get done. I’m sorry you don’t care fro the way a private group conducts themselves. Join the K of C and change the way they operate.

And I never referred to some “nebulous “they.””

There is no statement -separation of church and state- there is only the First Amendment.
Public schools are for the learning the primary “three “R”s” not your religious beliefs or lack there of.

You want religion then send them to parochial schools of your choice or to Sunday school.
These Islamist will, and do use ignorance against you.

You MUST rise up against your school board and threaten to take them to court and or use the public forums to remove them from their positions.

I’m 74 and NONE of my history classes mentioned religion except in passing, as in cause and effect of historical happenings.

It’s the infiltration of the Marxists of the ’60s and the backlash of the McCarthy hearings that was put down by our precious Media that allowed for this to take place.

Do not let these so-called educators lead you around on a chain, STAND UP AGAINST THEM AS SOON AS YOUR KIDS MENTION ISLAM OR MUSLIM in their classes, none of this belongs in their classrooms.

decades ago,I seem to remember Catholics referring to Catholicism as a pagan religion. They did not claim to be Christian. Also, I agree with you. The K of C , like the Masonic Lodge, do not have women members. I`m unfamiliar with the involvement of either fraternity in matters political, or social, as a group. The Lions Club will have drives, the Shriner’s have their Hospital drives. But they want money. Individual members might run for office,or state publicly an opinion, but not as a representative of the group, unless it`s a membership drive,etc..The Masonic Lodge does not accept libertines, women,or men of questionable background. They do check.I got involved in a conversation about the public schools, just to-day. In my brief dissertation,I explained how for over 30 yr., I`d tried to tell people and warn them about what was transpiring, and the origins with references. I had verifiable, indisputable proof. Then I experienced the Dephi Technique. What I tell anyone who`l listen,to-day is if they love their children, get them out of the public schools. They are Godless and full of evil. This islamic movement is just another satanic demon slithering in. I don`t know if the Christian researchers are still alive or not,but Mel and Norma Gabler in Texas, were wonderful textbook, how should I describe them? They researched text books for accuracy in Texas. Why there? Texas is the largest buyer of textbooks and curricula in the country. Most people don`t want to know and don`t want to get involved. I got involved,Last time I went to an ‘open house at our local elementary school, the guidance counselor was in the lobby greeting people,I walked in,( I`m not proud of this ), I walked in,she had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized the next day. When you have all your ducks in line, they can`t lie,or deceive you, and the teaching staff will try their best.Thank you for being you.

Our society is at risk because it is nothing but a TOXIC ideology that is poisoning western civilization.

Having said that, the article stated that the children were told that calligraphy was an Arabic art. There
was no qualifier stating that calligraphy was invented by Arabs so the mere fact of its being an Arab
art isn’t necessarily incorrect.

Incidentally, Islamic art and calligraphy is quite beautiful. Google up Art of the Blue Mosque Museum

One way parents could oppose this is by posting links to web sites that tell the truth about Islam and Muhammad and finding ways to get that content to students and faculty. Here is one site that is a little long but tells the truth. http://www.thoughts-everything.com/shelp/muhammad.htm

Have the children write about Jesus in their Islamic report.
How He died for their sins, arose the third day.
How they too can be saved.

I thought the prohibiting of prayer at ball games and other school functions was implemented as a means of separating church and state, so WTF with religious instruction?

You can have AIDS in the public school but not prayer.

And that’s the other thing. On one hand, kids being indoctrinated into Islam and the Shehada – on the other, being indoctrinated into the LGBT lifestyle and actively being converted to homosexuality and transgenderism (and once recruited into the lifestyle, trapped in there for life with no way out, a sure sign of Greenwich Village/San Francisco/Fire Island “values” being unable to withstand or survive any kind of objective scrutiny about the basis for their tenets) . . . and any parent who objects to this mass homosexualization and transgenderization (which is also part of a deliberate strategy of the Left to destroy the pillars of Western society) is likewise subjected to harassment, intimidation and blackmail clearly meant to silence them, and LGBT proselytizers and predators swooping down further on children if the parents object. Artificial pronouns not realized in nature are the latest example of this cultural imperialism and march towards totalitarianism.

All Muslim children are taught from the age they can learn; 1 truth, 1 way of life, Islam. Its this indoctrination that becomes an unbreakable faith. Its the early Islamic disciplines enforced on Muslim children that shape their lives. Islam is attempting to infiltrate other ideologies, just like they have done for 1400 years.
Virtually all Muslims want to live in Islamic dominated societies where the ideology has dominance over all others.
Why those in authority apparently cant `see` this supremacist ideology represents are serious threat to the future direction of the West is at best confusing, at worst a deliberate and calculated attempt to use Islam to change the political and sociological direction of our societies.

Since half the Islamic world is completely illiterate and live in squalor (oh, let’s blame the Jews). They have a worldwide IQ (the ability to predict outcomes, not memorize things) of two digits.
Aside from selling a product that requires ZERO effort for them to produce, oil, Western countries gave them the technology and they import slaves to do the work (those who own that patch of ground, the rest starve). Their historic method of wealth accumulation has always been theft and pillaging.

Every non-Islamic religion has done more for the betterment of the world and whenever Islam is introduced into a prosperous society chaos and ruin ensue.

They are the destroyers of nations, and those idiots in West Va. that run the schools should be sent to one of these countries ruled by those ‘peaceful’ people. Should they survive, they wouldn’t be acting this stupidly.

Schools are not law enforcement. They have overstepped their “authority” by light years. I would immediately send them a very polite “f*ck off” text and politely inform them to expect a registered letter from my attorney. If that didn’t work, things would go very dark and silent from that point on.

Americans need to understand NOW that islam is ready to make a hard move into the USA’s western culture. Approximately 90 muslims are running for office this year. Islamocrats are loving muslims and hating Americans, The Constitution and Christianity. Europe is toast because of its corrupt politicians who embrace islam and at the same time destroy Europe’s cultures, traditions, religions and citizens. The USA needs to build border walls, remove any muslim who will not assimilate into western culture (which mean about 100%…a good thing), tear down mosques. None of these things is radical if you want to remain free in the USA.

“Treat people the way you want to be treated”. So, as murder in the streets and other forms or violence are called for in the qur’an and done by muslims today, it is acceptable for others to do the same to them?
“USA built on racism”. There is a very large amount of information of how islam approves of and always has approved of slavery. The Indian and Persian people suffered greatly as well – as did Africans. At least 17 million slaves (mostly black women and children) were brought out of Africa by Islamic traders – far more than the 11 million that were taken by the Europeans. However, these were only the survivors. As many as 85 million other Africans are thought to have died en route.

Most telling, perhaps, is that slavery is still practiced in the Sudan, Niger, Mauritania and a few other corners of the Muslim world – and you won’t see any of those Muslim apologists (who shamelessly repeat the lie that Islam abolished slavery) doing or saying anything about it!

In fact, a fatwa (Islam Q&A 33597 originally at http://www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/33597) was recently issued by a mainstream Islamic source reminding Muslim males of their divine right to rape female slaves and “discipline” resisters in “whatever manner he thinks is appropriate”. Not one peep of protest from Islamic apologists was recorded. In 2013, the same site prominently proclaimed (Islam Q&A 10382 originally at http://www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/10382) that “there is no dispute (among the scholars) that it is permissible to take concubines and to have intercourse with one’s slave woman, because Allah says so.”

In 2003, a cleric in Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body declared, “Slavery is part of Islam. Slavery is part of jihad and jihad will remain as long as there is Islam. Those who argue that slavery has been abolished are ignorant, not scholars. They are merely writers. Whoever say such thing is an infidel.”
“The demand for Muslim schools comes from parents who want their children a safe environment with an Islamic ethos. Parents see Muslim schools where children can develop their Islamic Identity where they won’t feel stigmatised for being Muslims and they can feel confident about their faith. Muslim schools are working to try to create a bridge between communities. There is a belief among ethnic minority parents that the British schooling does not adequately address their cultural needs. Failing to meet this need could result in feeling resentment among a group who already feel excluded”. The constantly offended muslims are always demanding things. Well, how about you start to find work, pay taxes and pay for what you want. And stop lying about the economic contribution the beggars of islam make to anyone, as they don’t.

1. No one can force you to write anything. Even if they think they can. That may seem elementary, but it is still missed by many.
2. No one can force you to make a statement contrary to your faith. Same principles apply as in #1. As with drugs, just say ‘NO.’ I don’t care what they threaten to do to you. You still must refuse. That is the path of discipleship all Christians must follow, not matter what they do to us as a result. See Matthew 10; 32-33 if you don’t believe me.
3. You DO have the right of freedom of speech, regardless of what they say to the contrary. Do NOT let them intimidate you into silence. You have the RIGHT to express whatever you want and expose what happened, even if every detail is not correct. You even have the right to be wrong. So share and expose and don’t let them convince you that they can stop you, because they can’t unless you let them.
4. If they leave out those qualifiers about ‘muslims believe,’ I would just write out my Christian confession of faith and submission to Jesus as God, starting with “I believe… etc.”. Two can play that game.
I’m serious as steel about this, it is not a game.

True – but it is the children who are being targeted directly in school. It is unrealistic to expect an elementary or middle school student to refuse the teacher’s assignment. The parents must end the Islamization of their children in school.

You aren’t a child though. Many people have no real backbone till they are nearly middle aged. This is precisely why children are targeted, they are vulnerable, and often take take ideas (good, bad or otherwise) as orders, especially if they are given in an authoritative tone.

All across America students are deceitfully being given “religions of the world” instruction that praises Islam as it criticizes Christianity and Judaism. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should children have to recite the shahada – the Islamic profession of faith, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger!” Parents beware!!! Your children are being indoctrinated toward Islam and away from their Judeo-Christian traditions. It is entirely up to you to complain unapologetically about the gross intrusion into their personal lives and stunning violation of separation of church and state. This is exactly what civilization jihad is and it is up to parents to stop it.

Lydia Church

They should do everything the other way around; teach Christianity as fact, ‘force’ students to write out their submission to Jesus, etc. Since Christianity is the one true religion and all others are false anyway! So ha!

Here we go again! I would think of this happening in maybe Seattle or Boston (both liberal to the hilt) but WV? I’ve also heard about it happening in NJ, TX and TN. What the heck are the idiots from the ACLU doing? Obviously nothing but if it were Christianity or Judaism they’d be all over it! They say they do teach that but it’s very minimal unlike the amount of time they spend on Islam. I’d be making a huge stink about it if it was my child’s school. I would be at every meeting from the school board to the town hall meetings. This is absolute BS and needs to stop! Oh ya and the lying about the origin of calligraphy saying it was from the Arabs? More lies! These teachers must be morons.
