Haley defends Israel at U.N.: No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel

UN Ambassador Nikki Haley on Tuesday lauded Israel for its “restraint” during deadly clashes with Palestinian protesters and blamed the violence on those who want to destroy a “United Nations member state.”

“Who among us would accept this type of activity on your border? … No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has,” Haley said during a discussion in the UN Security Council on Monday’s unrest in the Gaza Strip.

Kuwait called for the emergency session to discuss the upheaval after 60 Palestinians were killed by Israeli troops and hundreds were wounded.

The US on Monday blocked a statement drafted by Kuwait that called for an “independent and transparent investigation” into the killings.

Haley rejected the idea that the protests on the border was prompted by Monday’s ceremony opening the US Embassy in Jerusalem, saying Hamas had been inciting violence “long before the United States decided to move our embassy.”

“Those who suggest the Gaza violence has anything to do with the location of the American embassy are sorely mistaken,” she said. “Rather the violence comes from those who reject the existence of the State of Israel in any location.”

“Such a motivation – the destruction of a United Nations member state – is so illegitimate as to not be worth our time in the security council, other than the time it takes to denounce it,” she continued.

President Trump in December announced that the US would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocate the embassy there from Tel Aviv.

The decision drew immediate condemnation from many Arab states, including the Palestinians, who want East Jerusalem to be their capital.

Ambassador Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian observer to the United Nations, condemned the “odious massacre committed by Israel occupation forces” and urged the US to intervene.

The US “should not close their eyes to a situation on the ground,” he said.

Haley left the security council meeting during Mansour’s speech.

Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon, like Haley, heaped blame for the violence on the militant group Hamas.

“These were not demonstrations, these were not protests, these were violent riots. They have repeatedly attempted to sabotage and breach the fence with the explicit goal of killing Israelis,” he told the council.

He said Hamas is “playing a deadly game” and “exploiting” their own people as human shields.
“Hamas has committed war crimes not only against Israeli civilians but also against its own people – turning them into human shields for their own cynical gain. Every casualty that has resulted from the recent violence is a victim of Hamas’ war crimes,” Danon said.

Kuwait said it would seek a resolution for the “protection of the Palestinian civilians” but not including peace-keeping troops.

The fetid UN is a front for the Rogue States, Isalm, and terrorism which are one of the same. Nikki Haley is not only forthright UN Ambassador but one who doesn’t back down to this unmitigated attack on Israel by not only the UN but Hamas’ evildoers. Moreover, the UN is a toothless entity that is shameless with its never-ending anti-Semitic/Israel vitriolic rhetoric. Liberalism is hell-bent on the downfall of The State of Israel of which the UN is part. Thankfully, our President’s choosing Nikki Haley as the UN Ambassador was a deserved choice.

The relocation of the UN to Iran or North Korea would be apropos. The UN’s alliances with the world’s Rogue States, sponsors of terrorism and practicing terrorists is not a secret. The objective of this malevolent union/alliance, mentioned above, is the annihilation of Israel and Western Democracy. Our President and the like of Nikki Haley are the only Western allies of the State of Israel. All others would throw Israel under the proverbial bus.

It’s beyond incredible to think that the UN voted FOR the creation of the state of Israel, but of course they then stood by while the muslum Arabpigs (and some bona-fide Nazis!) invaded Israel w/genocidal intent.

The Bible is more updated than any tomorrow’s newspaper.
People just look away:

Zechariah 12:2-3 King James Version (KJV)

2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Thank you for posting these passages. I believe that ” day ” has begun, and without a doubt, the violence against Israel will intensify. She will of course defend her borders and retaliate where necessary. If it gets bad enough that she closes her borders, then all who know the scriptures will be watching Jerusalem intently. An annexation of the rest of the city may be deemed necessary to protect their new capital, and such a move would bring the Temple rebuilding program to the forefront. Not only would this further inflame the anti-Israeli’s around the world, it would also be further fulfillment of end time biblical prophecies ( which have already begun ), and bring that ” Day ” another step closer. Maranatha, be well.

Dear the embassy move had EVERYTHING to do with the savages acting up more. It shows how they do NOT want peace too. Why are we giving them ANY money? Could you do something about that or are you “confused?”

100 years of residence of two peoples on a narrow strip of land proved that Jews and Arabs can not and should not live in one country. Every nation must live in its own country.

This is the essence of the UN decision on the partition of Palestine.
ALL Jews were expelled from the Gaza Strip and from areas A and B.
It’s time to ALL 6 million Arabs of Palestine to obtain the citizenship of the Palestinian National Autonomy.
Only then will begin economical, political and physical separation between Jews and Arabs. Without this, peace in Palestine is impossible.
