Former Obama Officials Suggest European States Expel U.S. Ambassadors Over Iran Deal Withdrawal

Story continues below advertisementTwo former Obama administration officials suggested in a New York Times op-ed published Thursday that European countries allied with the United States could expel American ambassadors in retaliation for President Donald Trump withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.
“Europe Doesn’t Have to Be Trump’s Doormat,” wrote Steven Simon and Jonathan Stevenson. Simon served as the National Security Council’s senior director for the Middle East and North Africa, while Stevenson served as the regional director for political-military affairs.
“After months of swaggering hesitation, President Trump finally announced the United States’ withdrawal from the nuclear deal with Iran, to which Britain, France, Russia, China, Germany, and the European Union are also parties,” they wrote. “This action tramples on European leaders, who urged Mr. Trump to exercise restraint in the interest of international security and multilateralism.”
The two men urged European countries to go beyond “mere words” and counter Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal with real, concrete actions.
“The European Union could, for instance, announce the withdrawal of member-states’ ambassadors from the United States,” they suggested. “Isn’t this what states do when diplomatic partners breach solemn agreements, expose them to security risks and threaten to wreak havoc on their economies?”
Simon and Stevenson went on to suggest that, depending on how the United States reacted, “European capitals might even follow up with expulsion of American ambassadors.”
As the U.S. and other world powers negotiated the Iran deal in 2015, the Obama administration was critical of what its officials described as Republican efforts to undermine negotiations. Vice President Joe Biden complained that Republicans “undercut a sitting president in the midst of sensitive international negotiations,” while Obama himself accused them of making “common cause with the hardliners in Iran.”

While the Constitution is quiet on secession, we do have bloody precedent by Pres. Lincoln. This time after we take care of those seceding for neo communism’s sake and instead of doing a Reconstruction like deal, we treat those gangster states as conquered provinces. And that eventuality may not be as far-fetched as the insane enemedia would have us believe! The mullahs and their Revolutionary Guard have their own idiotic belief in “Final Days,” or, as they say, the coming of (or return of?) the Mahdi! So, since that’s supposed to be a glorious time, they’re anxious to “bring it on,” so we may find ourselves facing the reincarnation of the Third Reich on steroids times 10!! There was no treaty. There was no executive agreement. There was no deal.
The fiasco in Iran was nothing more than a statement of principles – mostly Obama’s – which have NO legal weight whatsoever, and are not legally binding.
In fact, Iran never signed nor ratified the “deal.”
It’s a colossal joke.
And Trump exposed it all.

Even in the Obama administration, “deeply stupid” men don’t accede to positions like the National Security Council’s senior director for the Middle East and North Africa, or the regional director for political-military affairs.
But the views these two are expressing are deeply stupid, given, as you point out, that the so-called “deal” was never sent to the Senate to be ratified as a treaty.
Their views are also seditious, but that in itself is entirely unsurprising coming from anyone in that administration.
So we are left with a conundrum – but maybe not.

He’s a dangerous, unscrupulous man with carte blanche powers to find something on, or trap Trump. No one should take this lightly ( not implying you were ). Mueller is the hatchet men’s, hatchet man, and has a reputation and a record to back that up. Trump has been able to blow off every pansy move against him so far, but this guy mentored FBI agents on how to frame people, guilty or innocent, and has destroyed many innocent people’s lives along the way, all with personal impunity. Don’t believe for one minute that he’s the right man to be special counsel. His job is to get Trump any way he can.

It would be a good thing for the Americans to remove ambassadors from western europe, as they are of no use in that the socialist regimes are determined to destroy the individual nations, then impose islam on the survivors. As all western europe in interested in is American money, it will be withdrawn as well. Western europe is not Americas door mat, it is islam’s prayer mat and whore.

Keep in mind that the Iran nuclear deal is NOT a formal treaty because it never was submitted to Congress for approval. The reason for that is that there was not sufficient support for it in the Senate. Couple that with the fact that Iran did not even sign it to keep pressure off of them should they be the ones to back out and you have an agreement not worth the paper on which it is written.
So, go ahead Europe, expel away.

The Iran deal was NOT a treaty. It was a very bad deal made by a very bad president using executive powers and a deceitful echo chamber to strong-arm and convince Americans to accept the bad deal. So, an anti-American deal made by an anti-American ex-president was ended by a duly elected pro-American President and the left-wing lemmings go wild.
