Eastern Europe was hit by a recent wave of anti-Semitic incidents as neo-Nazis came out in full force to recognize the day that Adolf Hitler was born.
The “Grieving Mother” monument, a memorial in eastern Ukraine to honor the 8,000 or so Jews of the city who were murdered by Nazis, was sprayed with “Heil Hitler” and a swastika.
And that was just the beginning of what was a long list of anti-Semitic acts committed in the name of Hitler by Jew-hating Eastern Europeans.

Neo-Nazis in the Ukraine were out in force last Friday, Adolf Hitler’s birthday, and desecrated monuments, spray painted memorials and made anti-Semitic Facebook posts.
The “Grieving Mother” monument, a memorial in Poltava in eastern Ukraine to 8,000 of the city’s Jews murdered by the Nazis in 1941, was desecrated with the writing “Heil Hitler” and a swastika.
Not far from the monument, unknown perpetrators sprayed “Death to Jews” on the marker denoting a mass grave of Holocaust victims, 76 years after their extermination.
A source within Poltava’s Jewish community told Ynet that a police investigation was underway, and that communal services had the epithets removed.
In the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa, meanwhile, graffiti saying “A world without Jews. Kill the kike” was sprayed on a large beachfront wall.
No less of a public outcry was engendered by a Facebook post of a Ukrainian history teacher, who also serves as vice principal of a Lviv high school in western Ukraine. Teacher Mariana Batyuk published the Nazi leader’s photo and wrote he was “a great man whatever one may say.”
Batyuk, also a member of the city’s council on behalf of the far-right Svoboda party, added, “The nation and homeland—that is the only doctrine truly important to me and all true national-socialists.”
She concluded her post with a quote from Mein Kampf, Hitler’s treatise that later served as the Nazi’s regime’s guidebook: “He who would live must fight. He who doesn’t wish to fight in this world, where permanent struggle is the law of life, has not the right to exist.”
Following the outcry created by her post, Batyuk deleted all incriminating evidence from her Facebook profile shortly thereafter and claimed, following inquiries from the media, that her account was hacked by provocateurs.
She did not, however, delete the various neo-Nazi groups in which she was a member. Nevertheless, many intrepid users managed to take screenshots of her posts, including a photo of her standing with her students and giving the Nazi salute—a screengrab taken by director of the Board of Ukrainian Jews Edward Dolinski.
“Immediately after she published (the initial post) I went into her profile and took screenshots,” he told Ynet. “Her post was in blatant violation of Ukraine’s laws, and denigrated the memory of millions of victims. It was a crime against all moral and ethical values.”
His organization sought an urgent response from the state attorney, law enforcement authorities and Education Ministry, he added.

Sorry, but they were Bolshevik Jews who created the Great Famine in Ukraine and inhumane suffering of Ukrainian people. No wonder they have a little sympathy for them.

the fact that there are also communist catholics, protestants, etc. doesn’t mean that ALL of them are, nor that the catholics in South America, Italy or Spain for example should be held accountable for the terrorist acts of the IRA in Northern Ireland or the protestants of any other country be responsible for what extremist protestants did in Ulster…
The same applies for the Jews living in what is now Germany, Spain, Italy, Northern Africa or even a couple of miles away from Jerusalem when Jesus was crucified. They didn’t even know about his existence (there were no cell phones, no CNN, no radio, no telex, nothing! Blaming ALL Jews (why not ALL the descendants of the Romans?) for the crucifixion of Jesus is not only evil, it is STUPID beyond limits!
Yes, there were Jewish bolcheviks and yes, there were countless Jewish victims of this evil, vicious system too.

Yes. Make a U-turn. Jews indeed were greatly involved in Bolshevik revolution. Just because they were always persecuted,humiliated and never had the equal rights and opportunities to live in Tsarists Russia (Ukraine always used to be the part of Russia, and Western Ukraine used to be the part of Poland and Hungary(near Karpati mountains- Uzgorod,etc). Bolsheviks promised them equal rights under the new law. So it was the light in the tunnel for always oppressed, persecuted and humiliated nation.
Jews were not able to become the doctors, lawyers, engineers. They were not allowed to live in the big cities. Only in a small villages (Shtettles). Jewish youth was not allowed to go to Universities (only the small percentage norm). In order to avoid it, some Jews were converted to Christianity. But it was not really too common.
That’s why we preserved our religion during 5778 years,
On the top of all Jewish kids were kidnapped and sent to the tzarists army for 25 yrs to serve. They called them Kantonists. These poor young kids (as young as 10 yrs old) were badly abused and forcibly baptized. They could never see their families.
It’s just a tip of the iceberg.
So, before anybody start to attack Jews for getting involved with the Bolsheviks – learn the history first.

Slow down. FYI: The pogroms in Russian Empire occurred way BEFORE the Bolshevik revolution in 1917. BTW the most of the Russian Jews from tsarists Russia emigrated to America just because of the pogroms in the end of 19 – beginning of 20th Century.
Ukrainians are wild antisemitism no matter what. It’s in their blood. Same as muzrats. Just swallow it.

They were always antisemitic. When you hear about pogrom during the Tzarist times, they were largely in Ukraine part of the Russian Empire.

Yes, you are right. But pogroms took the place in Ukraine for many years after the Bolshevik revolution. At the time of the civil was during 1918-1922. Simon Petlyura, bat’ko Machno and many others exterminated Jews by thousands.

They are in fact a very small minority, the vast majority of Europeans are actually extremely liberal and left-wing. Even many of their conservatives are more leftist than Democrats.

French is not Eastern Ukraine. But pretty much Western country. They surrendered the thousands of their Jews on velodrome in Paris in July of 1940. Kept them here under the 100 degree sun for a week, without the food or water and when helped Nazis to send them to Auschwitz all together in the trains with wagons for the cattle.

The authorities better snap out of it and pay close attention. We experienced the very same phenomenon here in the US back in the 90s when every nut case acted out in the springtime, citing the occasion of Hitler’s birth date. The Columbine high school slaughter was the most notable.
Last Friday, Hitler’s birth date, US high school students staged a massive walkout and demonstration for “gun control” and “school safety”, totally unaware the two dates coincided.

At one time I looked for Berdan primers and heard that RWS used to make them. I found a retailer who used to carry them but at the time they did not get any in stock in quite a while. I also heard that unlike the Boxer primers there were more than 2 diameters.

Unfortunately, during the Occupations, the Communists treated the Jews far better than the Nazis did, and many Jews aligned themselves with the Commies. I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but that hasn’t served them well. In addition, there is a vein of leftism that runs through the Jewish community. Hitler used that as one of his reasons for persecuting them.

BTW not all the Jews are leftists. I’ve been Republican all my life. All my family and friends as well. Most of the former Soviet Jews hated the Socialist regime, Stalin and his gang. They’ve just afraid to admit it. Because they would go to Gulag right away or stand in front of the firing squad. Don’t spread the facts you have no idea about.

I understand that some people are frustrated with their corrupt governments, but going back to Nazism will not solve anything. Particularly as the Nazis actually cooperated with the Muslims quite a bit, Hitler was a huge admirer of Islam, and apparently said that Islamized Germans would have been able to stand proudly at the head of the “Mohammedan Empire”.
Albert Speer reports a statement from Hitler: “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

Ukraine is a cradle of nothing. Until recently, it wasn’t even a country … it was either Russia or Poland.
It made into history books rather infamously as a result of Chmielnicki uprising in 1648, when Chmielnicki’s Cossacks took Polish cities in the East, savagedly murdering all the people within, including over 100,000 Jews. They were allied with Muslim Tartars who took slaves, especially women.
During WW2, Ukrainians supported Hitler’s Germany, murdered Jews and Poles and served in SS and as guards in the death camps.
I’m absolutely not surprised that they are celebrating Hitler’s birthday.

Well said. People should learn the history. West Ukrainians were united in SS Galichina Hitler’s division. Also they should learn about Nazi’s and their Ukrainian collaborators murdered hundreds of thousand Jews in Kiev (Babiy Yar), Kharkov(Drobitsky Yar), total extermination of Jews in small Ukrainian villages (shtettles), the famous Lviv’s pogrom on the 1st of July 1941. Same kind of pogroms were in Vilnius and Kaunas (Litvinia), Latvia and many other Republics of the former Soviet Union.
Stepan Bandera and Roman Shuchevich were the leaders of Ukrainian UPA – Ukrainian Nationalists, Nazi collaborationists at the time of WW2
They exterminated a half of millions Jews, Pollacks and Russians at the time of the well known Volinsky massacre during 1943-1944.(Western Ukraine bordering Poland)

Getman Bogdan Chmelnitsky actually in the beginning didn’t take Polish cities. Ukraine is bordering Poland on it’s Western side.
Whatever is called Eastern Ukraine today was created in the middle of nowhere on the border with the present Russia.
Kasaks who run away from Ekaterina II founded the Sloboda in 1654. Now it’s Kharkov- the 2nd city of Ukraine, the former capital of Ukraine after Bolshevik revolution.
Later Eastern Ukraine was extended to the South (present Donbass, Odessa, Herson)
Eastern Ukraine are Christian Orthodox, Western Ukraine are Catholics.
They have been always hate each other. And both hate Jews.

It seems this report features recent anti Semitic happenings in Eastern and Western Ukraine but at this point it’s worth remembering how wide Europe is and the fact that no part of the Ukraine is part of the western alliance or the EU.
Today, the real and growing threat to Jews living in Europe is where illegal economic migrants from certain regions of the backward world have appeared in accord with the grand project of race and culture replacement of native European peoples, no muslim immigrants have to my knowledge expressed any interest in moving to Ukraine, all want the higher rewards found in Germany and other choice places in the west.
Any Jewish person who wishes to can now move either to western Europe, America or Israel, where he or she will be sure of a warm welcome I would have thought. This if it happens will be to the benefit of any new host nation because Jews are by and large a peaceful educated productive asset.
If the slant of this news is intended to suggest a new holocaust is brewing in the Ukraine, I would say in the absence of muslim migrants there, where is the evidence ? Muslims from the Caucasus are a Russian and internal matter separate from the issues in the west..

Any way a great insight into orrthodox jewish life.
One of the teachers at the Orthodox school said the female Jewish children didn’t need much of an education, just marry young and have lots of children. The word “sex” could never be mentioned in class.
One day the word “Romance” has somehow got through into a text. She asked the class, “Girls , does anyone know what the word Romance means?”. No one did, but one girl put up her hand, “please miss, it’s people from Rome”
