American Dignitaries Line Up to Attend Dedication Ceremony Moving U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem

The mainstream media wants to paint President Donald Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as a divisive measure that will tear apart the Middle East and world political leaders — yet dignitaries from the United States are already throwing their names in the hat to attend.

In fact, dozens of U.S. dignitaries have lined up and announced intent to attend the dedication ceremony of the new embassy, set for May 14.

If it’s that divisive, why would so many politicians want to tie their names to the event?

Politicos, after all, are slaves to voters’ perceptions.

The Algemeiner has the story:

A sizeable delegation of American dignitaries will arrive in Israel to attend the official dedication ceremony for the US Embassy in Jerusalem, according to Sunday report on Israel’s Channel 10 news.

US Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin, senior adviser to the president Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka, Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt, and US Sens. Ted Cruz and Lindsay Graham are among the estimated 40 politicians who will arrive from the United States as part of a 250-person American delegation.

US President Donald Trump will reportedly not be in attendance.

Images of newly minted road signs directing drivers to the US Embassy have been circulating on social media, confirming that concrete steps were being taken towards implementing Trump’s Dec. 6 announcement that the United States would move its Israel embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The ceremony will take place in Jerusalem’s Arnona neighborhood on May 14, which will mark the secular 70th anniversary of Israel’s independence. The United States currently operates its Jerusalem consulate in Arnona. The new embassy will operate out of that space temporarily, and is expected to complete construction of additional office space at the compound to meet its needs.

A brand-new embassy complex will be constructed in the coming years.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced last week that Israel’s Foreign Ministry will host a celebratory reception for “guests” coming to Israel on the occasion of the US embassy dedication. He did not elaborate further at the current time.

President Trump has done something truly historic for the ages.

I imagine security at this event will be extra vigilant. It is a prime target for jihad. May God bless all the participants.

If the Arabs and Muslims can claim both Mecca and Medina as their exclusive holy cities, banning both Jews and Christians, then surely the Jews after all their generations of suffering should have a right to reclaim their holy city as well.

it has nothing to do with suffering. but thanks for the thought. it has to do with the fact that Israel is America’s closest ally and a successful vibrant democracy that is the Jewish nation state. indeed, Israel is what America once was.

Prior to the embassy not being moved, WAS THERE PEACE?
No!
So it really made no difference!
Muslims do NOT want peace and never will want peace.

It did take Jerusalem off the table as a bargaining chip for peace. Jerusalem belongs to the Jews and is the capital of Israel! It’s all over the Bible and NEVER mentioned in the Qur’an. If peace ever happens it will NOT be long lasting. That is what Biblical prophecy states and I believe it. Still you have to try since we don’t know when prophecy will be fulfilled. President Trump is doing the right thing by standing up for Israel!

Zechariah 12:2-3

[2] Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

[3] And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Respectfully sir, You say, “If peace ever happens it will NOT last long”.

Peace will happen during the Seven Year Tribulation but at the three and a half year mark the Anti-Christ will wage war against Israel and then all hell will break loose in the Valley of Mageddo hence the term, “The Battle in Armageddon”, the last battle on Earth as God will come from Heaven and place His feet in Jerusalem then all the people of the world will see He is the True and only God of the Universe. This next sentence is for the nonbelievers:

Heed now and claim Jesus Christ as your Savior. After all, do you want to send your sole to the smoking section or non-smoking section for all eternity?

Trump was conned by Abbas initially but when he found out the truth boy was he mad as hell at the jihadi http://bit.ly/2rOmfyJ

That’s when he decided enough is enough and that inspite of huge opposition led to shifting of Embassy to Jerusalem and No more funding to the jihadis.
