There is no problem with a Muslim in the U.S. who sincerely renounces jihad and sharia, and who is working to reform Islam, and is clear about rejecting the elements of sharia that contradict American laws and principles, running for office. The problem is that all these far-left Democrat candidates will never even be asked by the mainstream media about their views of jihad and sharia, and they will be working, as the Democrat establishment does, against counter-terror efforts.

SAN DIEGO – More than 90 American Muslims, nearly all of them Democrats, young, and politically fresh, will run for public offices across the US this year.

Fayaz Nawabi, a candidate for San Diego City Council, supports almost everything that the American President Donald Trump opposes. He’s pro-affordable housing, pro-environment, pro-immigrant and pro-refugee.
Nawabi’s concepts make him part of the blue wave of new liberal candidates, but he’s also part of a notable subset: the blue Muslim wave.
“When you put someone in a corner and they’re in survival mode, they have a tendency to come out and speak more prominently about their beliefs,” the 31-year-old Muslim Afghan told Washington Post while talking about the triggers behind his political campaign.
Nawabi explained that the election campaign of the current American President Donald Trump, who called for monitoring mosques and banning Muslims from entering the US, delivered a jolt to American Muslims.
Another example in Michigan, where 13 Muslim candidates are running for office, is physician Abdul El-Sayed who hopes voters will elect him to be the first Muslim governor in the US history.
The Muslim doctor used his religion in campaign ads against Republican front-runner Bill Schuette, whom Trump has endorsed.
Seek Better Representation
According to the Washington Post, there are more than 3.3 million Muslims living in the US, only two of them hold positions at the 535-seat Congress.
A half a century ago, a small portion of African Americans embraced Islam as a pathway to political empowerment and civil rights, and today their descendants are members of the US military, police officers, city council members, and career civil servants.
Nevertheless, the situation is significantly different now with immigrants forming as much as about two-thirds of the American Muslim community.
“A lot of these people feel like, ‘I’m just going to make my money, put my head down. They feel political involvement puts a target on their backs because that’s what it meant to authoritarian regimes where they came from,” Nawabi explained.
Some Muslim advocacy groups, such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and ‘Emgage’, formerly called Emerge USA, have spent years training young political activists, tracking rising politicians and running get-out-the-vote campaigns, particularly in immigrant communities after the 9/11 terrorist attacks set off an anti-Muslim backlash….

Muslims never renounce Islam or it’s teachings (sharia/jihad, etc). The only ones who do are ex-Muslims. Let’s not look for the mythical unicorn muslims who reject Islam and treat them as one political movement just like Nazism or Communism and deal with them accordingly.
Muslims should be prevented from holding public office, we need to work on banning Islam and deporting Muslims. That is the only real solution here-everything else is just delaying the inevitable. Islam is founded on the rape, slavery, slaughter and elimination of non-Muslims.
We know this because we studied Islam. However Muslims take advantage of the fact that 99% of people out there are totally unaware and uneducated on their evil religion. This is how they’re able to use democracy/freedom to destroy itself. So our goal (those of us who are informed) is to defeat Islam wherever it rears its ugly head. Shut down mosques, expose muslims who run for office and implore our leaders to ban Islam ultimately, that should be our aim.

In my city a muslum ran for local city office under an alias (i.e. not under his legal name) when he adopted an anglo-saxon first name in place of his muslum first name — he lost and the muslum sympathizers/apologists all screamed islamofauxbia.

It is called INFILTRATION. Since Islam is an occupying power this is one of the most transparent ways of taking over and upsurping the running of a country. Islam is trying to do to the USA exactly what the Nazis did to Europe…(don’t freak out on me people please) without the formal armies and tanks. They will take over with their demands for Sharia, their birth rates, their victimhood, their violence and their calls of unfair treatment or islamaphobia. According to the US Census Bureau’s population clock, the estimated 2018 United States population (February 2018) is 327.16 million. This is a bit higher than the 326.77 million estimated by the United Nations.
By religion Islam is only .8% in 2016.

Islam will become the second-largest religious group in the United States by 2050, according to a report from the Pew Research Center.
Islam’s spectacular birthrates, the relative youth of Muslims and the increase in Muslim immigration into the United States combine to account for its accelerated growth rate in the U.S.
Muslims currently make up approximately 0.9% of the U.S. adult population, or 1.8 million Muslim adults. If children are included, the Muslim population in the United States totals 2.75 million Muslims in the country, the majority of whom (63%) are immigrants.
As the fastest-growing religion in America, by the year 2050, the number of Muslims is projected to more than double, surpassing Judaism as the country’s second-largest religious group after Christianity. Those identifying with Islam are projected to comprise 2.1% of the U.S. population.
Among all immigrants to the United States, the Muslim share also doubled in just ten years, from roughly 5% in 1992 to 10% of all immigrants in 2012. In that year, 100,000 Muslim immigrants entered the country.
Almost half of Muslims living in America, 48%, say that all or most of their close friends are also Muslims, and 69% say religion is very important in their lives.
American Muslims also identify overwhelmingly with the Democratic Party; 70% are sympathetic to the Democrats versus just 11% who say they lean more toward the Republican Party. U.S. Muslims are also favorable to big government, as 68% say they prefer that the government provide “more services.”
Among all religious groups, Muslims tend to be viewed the least favorable by Americans, who view them roughly the same way they view atheists.

As of 2016 they compromised 8% – NOT even 10%.
At most you could stretch that to 30 million but I doubt it is even that high!

I find the first two lines and a bit of this report contradictory, why would a muslim renounce the essential elements of his faith and function on this earth while in the land of Dar-el-harb ?
Why do we call such people Muslims at all ? In my reading of recent history they ain’t.
However, one thing across the western democracy’s is true, everywhere there is Islamic entryism, the political left is behind it every time.
Assuming such people are interested in becoming westernised to a degree which soothes OUR fears, seems to me to be a foolish act too far in 2018.
