Bravo. World antisemitism is such that merely recognizing the Jewish capital of the Jewish state is a bold and daring act. Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is more than ceremony, it is a stand against jihad terror and Islamic imperialism. Bravo.
Romania to relocate embassy to Jerusalem

Romania to become third country to move embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, following the US and Guatemala.
Story continues below advertisementThe Romanian government on Thursday approved a plan to transfer the state’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The approval came as Israelis celebrated the Jewish State’s 70th anniversary.
According to reports in local media, the decision includes timetables for implementing the plan. However, the timetables have not been published.
The leader of Romania’s ruling Social Democratic Party, Liviu Dragnea, said that the country should “seriously consider” moving the Romanian embassy in Israel to Jerusalem for practical reasons following US President Donald Trump’s decision to relocate the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah met with the Romanian representative to the PA Thursday morning in an apparent bid to forestall the relocation of another embassy to Israel.
Hamdallah claimed that “such a step would constitute a violation of the rights of the Palestinians and would be contrary to international resolutions.” He added that “the transfer of the Romanian embassy would “further remove the chances for peace.”
Last week, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely met in Bucharest with Romania’s Foreign Minister as part of her diplomatic campaign to promote the transfer of foreign embassies to Jerusalem.
“This is a historic window of opportunity following the move of the American Embassy to Jerusalem. It is time to choose to stand on the right side of history and be one of the pioneer countries to move their embassy to our capital, Jerusalem,” Hotovely said.
The Romanian Foreign Minister responded by saying that his country would assess the situation and positively consider the issue of moving its embassy to Jerusalem.

118 years after my grandparents fled a pogrom in Romania and came to Canada! WOW!
However, I must heartily congratulate the Romanians as I do appreciate that they have great courage not to show the Dome of the Rock in their beautiful photo of Jerusalem.
I wish my mother’s family, the over 50 who were murdered there and the wise ones who came to wonderful Canada, could see that miracle.

I do wish that what you have said could be supported by the facts.
Unfortunately it can not be.
The so called “good nations of the world” are rapidly returning to their pre WW II anti Semitism.
Most of them have ,not necessarily large, but substantial Muslim populations. Muslims are now today’s most virulent carriers of Jew hatred.

Not really. Romania is not pussified pro-jihadi country so they can make rational decisions and show the finger to jihadis.

If the only can accept the Muslims having two holy cities (Mecca and Medina) which NO other religion is allowed to set foot in, I think it is fair for the Jews to have their ancestral capital returned to them by the same token.
The Arabs have arrogantly claimed and controlled too much for far too long.

I had a Romanian colleague with whom I have lost contact over the years; his intent was to expose, disinter Romania’s involvement in the Holocaust. He came to mind while reading this article. I am sure, in some way, his endeavors reached beyond his ambition. Romania was underfoot of the Nazis and subsequently, the USSR; unlike Western Europe and others, Romania has learned from its past. Hungary is, also, an example of a nation not being bamboozled by the betrayal of fetid, seditionist leaders bent on Islamization via political correctness and expediency.
It’s great to hear that Romania has the chutzpah and the moral weight to move its embassy to Jerusalem.

Good for Romania. I wish my native country (Sweden) would be that smart.
The average Swede is not anti-semitic. Just the incredibly incompetent

Romania is 90% muslim and was destroyed by muslim occupiers…. you cannot trust them. The biggest criminal country in the world engaged in human trafficking, drug smuggling, murders, robberies. This is a backdoor vortex. They will keep infiltrating terrorists. Israel should deny them.
