The establishment leftist media is desperate to destroy John Bolton by his association with me. And they don’t care how much they have to lie to do it. But this Yahoo News piece makes even CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski look like a real journalist.
“Bolton is a fan of Islamophobe activist Pamela Geller,” by Jerry Adler, Yahoo News, March 23, 2018:
As national security adviser, John Bolton will be responsible for advising President Trump on relations with other countries, but especially America’s rivals and enemies — a category he defines broadly, including much of the Muslim world.
Story continues below advertisementWithin hours of the announcement that Bolton would be replacing Gen. H.R. McMaster in the West Wing, the Council on American-Islamic Relations was out with a fact sheet on his background, including his “cozy relationship with anti-Muslim hate groups.”
The mainstream media always portrays CAIR as if it were a respectable civil rights organization. Here’s what they aren’t telling you: according to JW, CAIR is “an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. A CAIR operative recently called for the overthrow of the U.S. government.”
It singled out in particular his relationship with Pamela Geller, the author and anti-Muslim activist described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “probably the best known — and the most unhinged — anti-Muslim ideologue in the United States,” known for her efforts to post anti-Muslim ads on New York City buses and for speculating (in a blog post that’s no longer online) that Barack Obama was actually the illegitimate love child of Malcolm X.
The SPLC is no reliable authority; it is just as leftist and viciously biased as CAIR. 47 nonprofit leaders have denounced the SPLC, urging the media to cut ties with this hate group over its libelous “Hate Map.” It demonizes legitimate conservatives by lumping us in with the likes of the KKK and neo-Nazis, but genuine violent hate groups such as Antifa don’t make its “hate group” list. Adler shows his own agenda by referring to this vicious group.
And as for Malcolm X and Obama, this, too, is a false charge. This statement from me headed the actual post in question: “The ‘Atlas says that Barack Obama is Malcolm X’s love child’ charge has gone viral among leftards and lizards. The only problem with it is that it is false. I am not the author of this post, and I posted it because the writer did a spectacular job documenting Obama’s many connections with the Far Left. The Malcolm X claim is one minor part of this story, and was of interest to me principally as part of the writer’s documentation that Stanley Ann Dunham could not have been where the Obama camp says she was at various times. I do not believe that Barack Obama is Malcolm X’s love child, and never did — but there remain many, many unanswered questions about his early life and upbringing.”
Anders Breivik, the right-wing Norwegian terrorist who went on a shooting rampage at a youth camp in 2011, killing scores of youngsters, was a fan of Geller’s writings.
This charge is meant to imply that I call for violence and that Breivik heeded my call. This is absolutely false. Breivik never quotes me calling for or justifying violence – because I never do. Breivik explains in his manifesto that he was “radicalized” by his experiences with Muslim immigrants in the early 1990s, before I had published anything about Islam (See Breivik, 2083: A European Declaration of Independence, p. 1348). Breivik also recommended making common cause with jihadists, which neither I nor any other opponent of jihad would ever do: “An alliance with the Jihadists might prove beneficial to both parties but will simply be too dangerous (and might prove to be ideologically counter-productive). We both share one common goal.” (Breivik, p. 948). He even called for making common cause with Hamas in plotting jihad terror: “Approach a representative from a Jihadi Salafi group. Get in contact with a Jihadi strawman. Present your terms and have him forward them to his superiors….Present your offer. They are asked to provide a biological compound manufactured by Muslim scientists in the Middle East. Hamas and several Jihadi groups have labs and they have the potential to provide such substances. Their problem is finding suitable martyrs who can pass ‘screenings’ in Western Europe. This is where we come in. We will smuggle it in to the EU and distribute it at a target of our choosing. We must give them assurances that we are not to harm any Muslims etc.” (Breivik, p. 949)
In turn, she wrote that the victims were enrolled in an anti-Israel “indoctrination training center,” and would have grown up to become “future leaders of the party responsible for flooding Norway with Muslims who refuse to assimilate, who commit major violence against Norwegian natives including violent gang rapes, with impunity, and who live on the dole.”
Geller disputes authorship of the quote, which was attributed to her at the time and subsequently in books. It no longer appears on her blog….
How did Jerry Adler get to be a Senior Editor at Yahoo News while being so lazy and sloppy? I didn’t write that. It doesn’t sound like me. The quote comes from here, the Anti-Mullah site. I quoted it here, where I clearly attribute it to the Anti-Mullah. Why does Adler mention it all? Because he wants to suggest that I approved of Breivik’s murders. I predicted that this would happen in that very same post. Adler, of course, doesn’t quote this, because it would explode his entire smear of me: “Of course, the genocidal leftists will twist what I write here; I am not condoning the slaughter in Norway or anywhere. I abhor violence (except in regard to self defense). But the jihad-loving media never told us what antisemitic war games they were playing on that island. Utoya Island is a Communist/Socialist campground, and they clearly had a pro-Islamic agenda.”
Geller is also a longtime fan of Bolton, endorsing him for president in 2011 as “the antidote to the sick, debilitated state of the country which Obama has inflicted upon us.” And Bolton is a fan of hers. He wrote the foreword to her 2010 book (with Robert Spencer, director of the anti-Muslim group “Jihad Watch”), “The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America.” They wrote: “Barack Hussein Obama [Geller took pains to use Obama’s middle name whenever possible] hid the fact that he was a hard-line, doctrinaire socialist and statist, who believed in central planning and government control of the economy as fervently as Stalin or Mao or Kim Jong Il ever did.”…
He wasn’t?

I too am an “Islamophobe”, as I oppose all totalitarian ideologies. In fact, I detest them. Unlike some on this board, I do not detest Moslems.
Adler, just in case you are so blockheaded as not (pretend) not to know, I could offer several reasons why Islam is a totalitarian ideology, but perhaps the most compelling is Bukhari 4:52:260 (https://www.sahih-bukhari.com/Pages/Bukhari_4_52.php):

Say, Adler, what totalitarian ideologies do you approve of (other, I should say, than Islam)?

“…I do not detest Moslems” says Liatris. But I have to question and be suspicious of them. To what extent are they practicing taqiyya? To what extent do they privately detest you as an infidel? At what point may one stab you in the back? “Hate” may be too strong of a word, but “distrust” and “wariness” would fit perfectly.
After all, if a person insists on identifying as a “Moslem”, then he must also agree with many portions, if not all, of Islamic texts. Not knowing which ones he agrees with (or not) would be troubling.

I think if you are good at reading people, you can probably detect fakery in friendship (that requires getting to know them well) but certainly, taqiyya is a concern. I have heard of American women going with their Arab husbands back to the “old country” and discovering, amazingly, that their husbands really are Arab,

I disagree with you on this score. People retain a cultural affiliation that may trump an actual belief. Ever hear of “twice a year Jews” who consider the Torah to be riddled with misconceptions, but still find something of value in their ancestral observances (which are wonderful expressions of humanity).

A delegation of House Democrats, led by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, is kicking off a trip through the Middle East on Saturday which includes a stop in Jordan, Politico reports.
Why it matters: The King of Jordan, Abdullah II, didn’t agree with President Trump’s announcement that Jerusalem would be named the capital of Israel. Pelosi said the 10 Democrats’ visit to Jordan comes “at a vital time in the U.S. relationship with this key ally.” Pelosi’s office told Politico the trip will focus on “global and regional security and cooperation issues.”
